Food average at best, restaurant freezing cold, strange Irish guy milling about made me very uncomfortable. I would not recommend. Very expensive for what it is!

Good chicken soup, rice and duck the arriviste was also very good

Came across this establishment by chance. A MUST to visit, Great value, wide choice, very fresh and tasty food, really efficient and friendly service too.

I ordered the House Special Chow Mein. I found it quite bland and the portion size on the small side. The service was very friendly, but the food not for me so won’t be returning.

Came to this restaurant based on the reviews, think they must be friend and family reviewing. The food was awful didn’t taste of anything bits were overcooked, some undercooked and extremely greasy. There was also a weird Irish guy lurking around and making comments as we were ordering and turned out he was part of the business. Not the place to come for an enjoyable meal. Save your money, Jins is much better.

I am very impressed with this place… you could call it a palace. Not only does its stunning interior seem delicious enough, but the food is absolutely delectable. The server was very nice and poured me a glass of wine. I have never eaten so much food in my life but I could not stop myself. I was ravenous. Thank you very much Turquoise Garden, I will be returning someday soon.

Just discovered a Hidden gem, in the centre of Macclesfield. Our first time but definitely not our last, From the moment you walk in and see the decor and the layout you already feel that it’s going to be good, the service was excellent and special thank you goes to Anita who guided us to our table, to say the food was delicious would be an understatement, we love Chinese food and this by far has to be the best in the area not only for taste but also for value. Great restaurant in Macclesfield.

Arrived right at the end of the delivery window... Which was 1hr 20mins so not a short time. The food was tasty and of a good quality but the portions were quite small, especially for the price. Will probably order again but order early.

Thought I'd give this place on more try after some bland orders in the past. The sweet & sour king prawns were just battered prawns with no sauce whatsoever. The egg fried rice was tasteless and the meat dish was cold. I'd expect more from a restaurant. Never again.

I have visited this Chinese for takeaway, Wedding Anniversary & Family Birthday. Excellent food, friendly staff. Would highly recommend. My favourite in Macclesfield.

We happened upon a mention of Turquoise Garden in a review of a hotel we stayed at nearby. It was a lovely find. Comments on heating have clearly been considered (in review below) as they made sure we were comfortable by putting a heater nearby. We had a friendly welcome, great service and the food was fresh and delicious.

Tasteless, tough food. The starter for 2 people is utterly extortionate at nearly £18 for what you get in it. Other takeaways charge £12 and you get more. Given barely any sauce for dipping. The only nice touch was a little extra gift as we were celebrating a birthday. Despite that, we won’t be ordering again.

A group of 4 of us, (2couples) went after having been let down by a nearby eaterie, on a Saturday evening. It was a cold night outside and sadly a little cool inside too. Given that the restaurant was not very busy, we had to wait quite a while before getting our food. The food was good, but the coolness detracted from the enjoyment. I think it is a false economy to scrimp on heating costs, because if you feel really cold, it is hard to fully appreciate the food you are eating. I would definitely give Turquoise Garden another try as the food and staff were good.

Slow delivery, over 90 minutes and bland underwhelming food. Waste of money.

Food quite bland. Sauces very similar and no where near as good as when this restaurant had the separate takeaway Wings Kitchen. Have eaten in the restaurant in 2022 but something has changed in2023.

The cost of takeaways has gone up far to much ( when a takeaway was supposed to a cheaper option) ! The dips I received with my mixed starters was ridiculous ie such a small amount it was a waste of the plastic pot it was put it (absolutely insulting) . My main was to honest tasteless. I have food before but will not be returning! Sorry.

Second time we've gone and travelled 30 miles to get there which should tell you all you need to know about this little gem of a restaurant. Simple, fresh food, excellent service and great value for money. Worth the trip and will do it again!

Nice food, biggest plus for me is that they deliver during the day. I Placed my order 5 minutes before closing time due to having another order from another place cancelled at the last minute. Turquoise garden were happy to take the order and the delivery was quick.

First time I’ve been and the food was delicious. Only had a takeaway this time but it looked a lovely place to eat in too, spotlessly clean and such friendly welcoming staff. I’ll definitely be back and recommending to friends and family.

Second visit first visit we ordered the set meal but did not read the menu properly we got way too many chilies but we enjoyed everything else. This visit we just ordered soup and chow mien for the main no chilies and it was perfect so a new favorite place they even have chilled Newcastle Brown Ale

Abit disappointed to be honest, I was expecting a really good Chinese for the price of it and it was average at best! The egg fried rice is poor! No flavour whatsoever. I’ve had much nicer Chinese food from cheaper places in town

Spur of the moment visit and wasn't disappointed, lovely setting on a warm evening with the doors open onto the patio area. Staff are attentive, food was amazing. It was nice to have chicken & mushroom soup that had lots of flavour and didn't taste like every other takeaway soup. We will be repeat diners here.

What an excellent accidental find. Sat on the terrace in the sunshine with my partner and dog. The food is the best I have had in the last 7 years nothing like this in Inverness, its how l remember Chinese food to be. Will make a return visit soon

Very nice! Super fast delivery food was well wrapped and hot. A little more expensive than some takeaways. However it's priced at sit in restaurant prices when you order. No complaints here all good. 🙂

Delivery was fast, food was kept warm. The satay did not really taste of a peanut sauce but very spicy with lots of salt, pepper and chilli. We enjoyed it though. Plus the Prices are a little higher than most places. All in all it was good.

Not a great start only been seated 5 minutes , my son got his phone out to check something and a Irish guy who works there came upto my son and grabbed his phone and told him to put it away probably joking but my son told him never to touch his phone again,this caused a bad atmosphere from the start.food was ok nothing special but was very overpriced, place is very small with no Chinese atmosphere pop music playing not very authentic and as you can imagine the Irish guy if that what he was avoided us for the rest of the night

It states on the internet and even on the door, that Turquoise Garden is open on Friday lunchtime from 12.00. Well, it was shut today at 1pm, with no sign of life... which I discovered *after* paying to park nearby. There's no excuse, it's just sloppy and unprofessional. The food is probably the same, but I will never know.

Lovely family meal for 5 last week, the staff are great and really willing to discuss the menu and what would suit each person. Food was lovely, well presented and very tasty, the starter platter was excellent 👍 The restaurant feels fresher & more modern than most "traditional" Chinese restaurants. Will be looking for excuses to go again :-)

Came across this by chance on the way back home (long journey) and what a treat. Lovely staff and exquisite food. Each dish was perfectly sized (not too much, not too little) and tasted fresh and full of flavour. I actually live 30 miles away but can't wait to make the journey again which should tell you all you need to know.

Staff were accommodating as had to move tables as we was in a large group. Cocktails are a must, tasted perfect not to overpowering made correctly (as most places aren’t) and reasonably priced. Food was brilliant best Chinese in Macclesfield will be returning.

Newish restaurant in Macclesfield, not very large so you would need to book, especially for a large group. Food was ok but not great. The cocktails were weak and awful ,leave them alone! Staff are friendly and the service was fine.

This was our first visit and will definitely not be the last. The food was amazing. Service was perfect. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and inviting. What more could you ask. The owner is a perfect host. We had the set meal and left VERY satisfied. Give it a try… you won’t be disappointed.

This was a long awaited experience that definitely didn’t disappoint. We had watched the transformation of this venue and wanted to try the restaurant out. The decor is fabulous, the music was relatable and ambient enough to make it perfect. Everyone knows a trip to the toilets seals the deal on cleanliness and this restaurant passed with flying colours. The food was so good and the staff were brilliant, we were even told we were ordering too much for 4 of us and the waitress was absolutely right. Reasonably priced and what a fabulous night. Made Father’s Day that bit extra special. We’ll done to the owners, you have it nailed down in every aspect. Shame I can only rate it with 5/5

Excellent food, great service. Recommended by a family member. Car parking opposite, and free to park on a Sunday. Off road parking paid & display mon to sat. Owner very friendly and helpful. Definately recommend a visit, but pre book to reserve your booking. We had the set meal for two, £25 each.

Lovely Chinese restaurant with good food

Great food and setting with nice full length windows. However we hurried our food as the lovely owner and husband are a bit in your face. They are on top of you whilst eating and you cannot have a conversation with the group you are with. It feels like their social life is drinking in the restaurant. Maybe some customers like this but it's a bit overbearing for my party. A signal system would be good, sign on table do not disturb. Hopefully this week change as it's such a great place otherwise.

The food here is beautiful. Plenty of flavour without overpowering your taste buds. The set menu options are good and the staff were happy to change the rice offered (as we had a guest with an allergy)

Popped in early doors, staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The only downside was that the place was a bit cold but I assume that it would have heated up when more customers arrived

My wife booked a table for 4 on New Year’s Day lunch time for the 3rd January she was assured the booking had been made, when my grandchildren arrived to take us there they said the restaurant is closed so my wife rang them and a man answered she told him of the booking and he said restaurant closed, my wife asked why take the booking then and he hung up The is no excuse for bad manners, we will never set foot in there ever

Highly recommend….Great tasting food, staff were friendly and attentive. Can recommend the set meals especially bbq ribs (the sauce was delicious and the meat just fell off the bone), and the cocktails were fab.

Good tasty food and atmosphere.

First visited in August and the Turquoise Garden showed promise with some rough edges. Returned on 26 November and the improvement was fantastic. Outstanding food and really imaginative drinks - the cocktails from the on site mixologist are amazing and really made for a memorable evening. We had prawn toast and squid for our starters. The squid was excellent - really big pieces, coated in a light batter with salt, pepper and finely chopped chillies and onions. The squid wasn’t greasy at all and I’d return to the restaurant just for that. Our main courses were beef, green pepper and black bean sauce and beef with spring onion and ginger. Both tasted superb. Staff are super welcoming and personable. We had a brilliant night and will return soon. This restaurant offers something different in Macc and deserves to do well.

We've visited here twice now and the food has always been fantastic. The salt and chilli wings were just fabulous. Nice friendly staff, a little bit pricey but good tasty food.

A little expensive especially for a take away

Was looking forward to using this new restaurant but did not even sit down as my other half was coughing and unable to breath due to the amount of burning incense.

Yes it was nice portion sizes are good, my wife had a chicken and mushroom broth which was tasty, I had the hot and sour soup slightly disappointed as it was neither one or the other and to thick, however the main was nice chilli chicken, I would have liked more chilli but it was nice and mild, I also asked for a garlic fried rice as it was not on the menu, and they were happy to oblige. They have spent a fortune on the conversion and it is well worth visiting, the staff are very pleasant and attentive, the prices of food AND drink are realistic, lastly I asked the owner if they were going to be using the roof area as we could see through the toughened glass roof lights a seating area, so I was invited to have a look 😲😲 brilliant they are going to put up some trellis, more seating, a small bar, so if you go ask for a sneak peek upstairs outside, oh and there is also seating upstairs as well. sorry I didn't have my phone for pictures.
