Brilliant hotel, in a great location! Comfortable beds, very friendly and accommodating staff and, in particular, thank you to the kitchen staff, who stayed on after 9pm on the day of our arrival, to produce an amazing meal for the two of us!

Had lunch with my lovely friend yesterday. The food was lovely, very fresh and tasty and presented beautifully. The lady serving us is so friendly and extremely helpful. Have booked again for lunch with my Mum next week. The prices are also really reasonable. Thank you.

Stayed here on Thursday 26th for business. Disappointed that my room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 10.30pm as sheets where being changed. Makes me think my room was changed last miniute because the music from the wedding party was so loud outside the room I was given, bed looked like it had been thrown together in a rush. Really dissatisfied that I wasn’t warned about this. It didn’t end until after midnight, extremely loud drum and bass, which seems unfair on a week night when guests are potentially staying for work. I called the reception to ask and all I got as ‘is this room 23 by any chance’ so they already knew I was going to struggle with the noise. Wouldn’t recommend staying here when events are taking place, and you shouldn’t sell this room without a pre warning!

We had a double room which although well presented was very small with very little space to move round in, however the finishes and the amount of mirrors (which pleased my wife) was excellent. Breakfast was extremely disappointing, when we went to order some eggs they had no eggs left, and they had just run out of beans as well. We certainly weren’t the last ones down. For the amount you pay for breakfast a premier inn style buffet breakfast was disappointing

Celebratory lunch in lovely surroundings. Good, well prepared food and very clean restaurant. Additional bonus was the relatively low cost

We had a fantastic stay here with our 5m old and 3y old. The staff were really accommodating with the room requirements and very helpful. All the staff were fantastic and friendly too. Both the breakfast and dinner were also excellent. Definitely recommended.

Nice privately owned hotel in one of the salubrious Cheshire villages. Fair prices and nice staff. I would give it 5 stars but for the lack of air-conditioning in the bedrooms. I should also note, very handy location if flying early from MCR airport. I will definitely stay again.

Best place to stay in Alderley Edge. Been coming here every month for the last 14 years. Dient to earth and yet stylish. The service is second to none. Highly recommended!

This is a very stylish property with attractive gardens. It's quiet at night as there is no traffic noise. Our bedroom was very well designed with a comfortable bed. The restaurant was modern and spacious - the food menu was imaginative and we couldn't fault it. If we're in the area again we shall certainly stay there. Having a list of hotels run by the same company we shall be visiting them given the opportunity.

Great hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was well furnished despite it being on the small side. The standard double bed felt small. Despite this I highly recommended the hotel. The breakfast is excellent along with the restaurant and bar

We held our wedding here last August and everything and everyone were fantastic. From our initial look round with Lucy Wade (brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us), we had a brilliant day. The package they offer is so competitive that I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to look here first. The food is really good and the staff are so helpful. We had a wedding singer ( the wonderful Jonathan Lavelle) who, attired in his dinner suit, entertained and sang from after the dinner to the evening guests arriving. We had such a brilliant day, we might just do the whole thing there again this year!

The location is great. I can not review the hotel. But I am happy to accept an invitation to do a full review on both: hotel and restaurant. My review is based on dinner, I was looking for a small meal. The risotto seemed the right option, but disapointedly was not good at all. The taste was not impressed. Obviously, risotto is one of my favourite dishes, and my confidence was too high.

Very nice hotel and friendly service. The hotel welcomes dogs but manages them well so they do not affect non dog owners adversely. Very comfortable stay. Good food. Recommended

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. All the staff were friendly and polite. Hotels in Manchester were double or even triple the price we paid and didn’t include parking. Our stay here cost us £110 for the night and included breakfast…which was fantastic!!! Only gripe we had was our sleep got disturbed by other inconsiderate guests, having a conversation at ridiculous o’clock in the morning right outside our door. Appreciate this isn't the fault of the hotel, but it’s a gripe I’ve seen from other reviews and it probably does happen in a lot of hotels as well. As I say, this isn’t a criticism, the hotel is powerless when these things happen. Perhaps more signage needs to be displayed asking folks to be more considerate of others. We had a fantastic stay and would never be put off by this gripe. I would more than happily recommend The Alderley Edge Hotel to anyone.

The hotel was located in a nice locale. The room was ample in size but felt cramped. The heating was well managed, and there was an extra electric radiator in the room, if required. The ceilings were thin as we could hear people staying above us as we were on the ground floor. The heating pipes made loud noises that were enough to wake us up sometimes. The furniture was quite new, though. The shower head was one of the bigger ones with pressure that could power the star ship enterprise. It was one of the best showers I had in a hotel by far. Ample free parking was available onsite. I recommend this hotel to stay.

A great hotel within a 5 minute walk of the shops & restaurants of Alderley Edge. There is plenty of parking on site. Check in was easy, especially if you complete details online before arriving. The staff are very friendly. We had a small issue with the TV remote missing from the room but this was corrected within 5 mins of me reporting it. The fit and finish of the rooms is really good and it's a relaxing place to be after a day/night out. The beds are comfortable and the temple spa products for use in the shower add that extra touch. The breakfast was very nice and the hot food tasted fresh. A beautiful stay

I have stayed at this hotel a few times as it is a convenient stop off point for me PLUS DOGS ARE ALLOWED. In fact, there is a bowl of gravy bones and water just by the front door - for some reason my dog is always in a rush to go in and leave!! Always plenty of parking. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant food is reasonably priced and excellent quality. Rooms are very nice.

Today's food was poor, really poor. The chicken breast was so dry and chewy and quite obviously poor quality (likely cheap imported chicken). The chicken thigh wasn't much better, the sauces were fairly tasteless and quite generic tasting, and the rice looked like the stuff you get in a pouch from Asda. Delivery was on time and made by very cheerful fella.

Sadly this was one of the worst experiences ever. On our Thursday arrival we were told that there was no room for us despite us booking with Buy a Gift.com and contacting the hotel directly to ask if we could have a late check out on Saturday. The bar man called the boss and gave us a complimentary drink. The boss found that it was in deed their error and dates had been transferred from one computer to another incorrectly. Although they were full she assured us that she could move her daughters boyfriend from his room in 15 mins. Oh my goodness....the room! No lights in the bathroom, long hairs in the sink, an absolutely filthy shower and no towels. The drawer still had the gentleman's items in and the TV didn't work. The tea tray was half prepared, the mirror was filthy , cobwebs hung from the ceiling and there were just 2 very flat mismatched pillows. My husband went down to try to rectify this. Two pillows were found and 2 very thin grey towels. My dog towels are better. the TV could not be fixed and we found our own tea tray things in the dining room. The following morning did not fare better. At 8.15am there was no cooked breakfast on offer as advertised. There were no clean cups, no knives or clean spoons, a small amount of instant coffee in the bottom of the jar and very thin poor quality white and brown bread. I went into the kitchen where 4 members of staff were standing chatting including the boss. The boss agreed that our stay had been unacceptable and agreed that we could leave and refunded the cost equal to the Buy a gift card.
