I came here for my birthday with my brother and his wife. I really enjoyed it. The food and service was great. I ordered the 2 course special of deep fried squid and whitebait then the veal scallops with rice. Also the surprise slice of cake and the staff singing for my bday was a nice touch.
A nice place to visit! The Food was great and the atmosphere too. There is a small parking available, but I doubt you will find a space if it’s busy. I will definitely go back again.
This place has gone down hill recently with very late delivery - over an hour and a half late. Food was cold so we sent it back, having a lot of difficulty getting a refund
Won’t call them again
Came across the Cheshire Cheese by accident. We had a group of 6 and a dog. Places near did not allow dogs inside. Cheshire Cheese had it all for dogs, bowls of water, doggie meals and snacks. They had a good choice of food with a great variety of pies at a reasonable price. We had a good meal of and would go back again.
Anyone thinking of selling a boat should contact venitian marina, their knowledge, experience and fair valuation is excellent plus being kept up to date with the whole process was really helpful, many thanks again.
Succulent indian cuisine. Recommended Johnny Stockport Sk58ls took mates wife flatulence. Curry smelt fragrance especially chicken 🐔 madras worth a visit
Went to Poynton for a walk and popped into this local chippy for lunch. Ordered a small fish and chips for £5. Fish was freshly cooked and when it arrived the portion was anything but small. Fish was cooked to perfection and chips were lovely. Well worth the price which is almost impossible to find nowadays. Owner was friendly and very chatty 😁
Pulled over here to check directions and got yelled at by the person living upstairs about the car park being closed and they slammed the door before I could even answer. We did plan on coming for a drink on our way back through but didn't bother.
Removed my previous review as they clearly dont want to admit or rectify.
Needs a deep clean. Smells of stale ale. Not friendly - bar staff more interested in laughing with mates. Waited 50 mins for 2 'bar snacks'. 1 other party of 2 in at the same time so not busy. Food less than average. No checks on table, no interaction from any staff. Avoid.
It’s a bit of a tardis here, the historic frontage leads into a characterful interior with a large garden. Beer selection could be better imo, how about local beers?
