Lovely restaurant with well cooked and presented imaginative food. We had the 5 course tasting menu. The amuse boche was a fried quails leg and wild garlic - totally delicious. This was followed by an unbelievable cauliflower veloute. The trout was delicious and the guinea fowl with terrine was fantastic as was the bisque that accompanied the pollock.

Don't know what's gone wrong with this place, but was served the worst pint of Wainwright ever!! Used to be buzzing, but obviously if the beer isn't good, it's not hard to see why!
Absolutely terrible, who is the chef? Why would you serve iceberg lettuce covered in sauce instead of veg I suppose because it’s easy no cooking involved. Very expensive meal . There’s a silly system of choosing different suggestions which takes ages for them to explain. Now I know why it was dead.
What a great find! Food was AMAZING, service was AMAZING, ambience was AMAZING with Jamie Wooding singing with his guitar. Will DEFINITELY be returning 👏👏
First time here as we usually go to Altrincham but thought we’d try this location. Great food, all tasted so fresh and aromatic . Wonderful friendly staff and great atmosphere. We can’t wait to go back.
On arrival we saw that about a quarter of the menu was crossed out, including drinks and food as they didn’t have them in. When we ordered we were also told 4 or 5 of the items we tried to order were also not available, and listening to other customers experience the same thing it must have been another a quarter that they didn’t have either.
The food was fairly warm and we ordered the pork belly with honey thinking it would be a glaze of honey. It was covered in honey and after a couple of minutes it was rock solid and almost pulled one of my teeth out, not to mention didn’t move when the plate was turned upside down!
The seats have no padding on and were very uncomfortable.
The waitresses have a very limited knowledge of the menu as they didn’t know answers to many of the questions asked by myself or other customers regarding items off the menu, and had to go and check.
This was all fairly early on a Saturday night, so I have no idea how so many items off the menu were unavailable.
We hadn’t been out for a meal for quite a while and were very disappointed as we had high hopes for this restaurant in terms of both the food and the service as a whole.
very efficient service. only issue jacket potato with PRAWNS, turned out to be SHRIMPS. infirmed waitress, she said she would tell the chef, no response at all.
