No where near as good as previous visit.
The waitress was lovely and friendly.
The full English however wasn’t good.
It came out very quick suggesting not cooked fresh.
It all tasted like reused oil.
The egg was tasteless as if cheaply bought eggs and the sausage I couldn’t eat as again looked like and tasted like economy sausages.
It all just tasted like oil/fat as if flash fried from being cooked already.
Very disappointed this time.
Gave a 3 for the waitress and the pot of tea.
Awesome little local with friendly staff.
Kind of pub where everyone is a friend you just haven't met yet.
Great beer garden.
Sports on tv.
Pool table and darts.
Friendly atmosphere.
Always something happening weekends either a band or performer.
Well worth a visit.
¡Algo de la comida era excepcional! ¡Algunos eran pobres!
Food was delicious, service very good, selection on the menu also very good. Only thing with this place is the decor, needs some work as it looks dirty inside, as you go up the stairs the walls are dirty, toilets with tiles missing and not done up properly, lighting was not good either with no ambience. No soft music playing either.
I would defo eat there again but only a takeaway and never to sit in, I dressed up for nothing really.

I ordered steak and ale pie the pie was only just warm. The only down fall was there was mushrooms in it which wasn't mentioned on the menue which I found out of order because if it was given to someone that is allergic to mushrooms you could have caused them problems.
We used to love Ciao and was hoping for an amazing Italian. Social just lacked that friendly, Italian feel. Service lacks warmth and personality. It was quiet enough to take the time to smile at least and engage with the customers. Food is nice enough but cold and not presented brilliantly. Tiramisu had hair in it and rubbish bag left in the hallway as you walked to toilets. One of my little girls banged her head and the bar staff just looked over and carried on laughing and chatting. Ciao used to make the children feel special and that’s why they wanted to eat there! Food is expensive for what it is.
Not much to look at from the outside, but decided to give it a try. You are welcomed into a lounge where drinks are ordered and menus perused. Then taken into a magnificent dining room. The food arrived and the portions were generous to say the least. The food itself was excellent and the service outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the attentive waiting staff. This is a very well run restaurant, I only wish I lived closer.
Odd place with a strange assortment of overpriced items for sale.
It was a cold day when we went and there didn't seem to be any heating on - everyone kept their coats on.
A long list of items were not available but the food we had was pretty good and the service was also fine.
There are better options in Sandbach town centre for lunch though.
Lovely historic shop on the square. I grew up in Nantwich and remember when it was Frank Coopers hardware shop. Pleased it still has a successful business on the premises. Good menu and prices, attentive staff. It is really a cafe more than a bookshop though.
We had the most amazing valentine's dinner - thanks to Kandy. I wasn't feeling great so we opted for a take-away - gutted I couldn't experience the lovely atmosphere at the restaurant, but so happy I could taste Kandy's delicious food. We had the full menu - absolutely worth every penny. Loved the Nasi gurang and do not miss the watalappan ice cream - it's sensational.
It’s quite a while since we ate at the Thai Corner as we don’t often visit Crewe. The ownership has changed since our last visit (before covid) and I must say that the current owner has established a great standard in both the food and the service.
We had Tom Yum Talay and Squid for starters with a prawn curry and sizzling beef for main course. All beautifully presented.
All of the staff were courteous and friendly and created a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
We will return a lot sooner next time.
