Great place for a catch up and bite to eat with friends.

Great food and great atmosphere.. Also good value for money.

First visit on Wednesday and really pleased we tried it. We had a full English breakfast and couldn’t fault the food or the service. Pleasant staff, nice food and clean restaurant. Would recommend.

Not impressed eat out often in Manchester city centre didsbury and chorlton no comparison. Such a shame lo very village.

Nice atmosphere, good service but the food was at best average and over priced. The Ancient grain main courses cost over £20 each, there was very little meat and even less taste. Disappointing food and over priced.

Great food, service and ambiance. Patron is welcoming and ensures customers have a good experience. Bonus is that dogs are welcome, too. Got lots of snuggles from a stunning spaniel.

Came here for a brunch today at it was a great atmosphere, fantastic food and not too badly priced. Accommodated us as a walk in at 11am, pretty fully booked, would definitely recommend the pancakes and the full English breakfast. Hoping we will come back again soon!

Nice atmosphere and some very delicious food to go with it, sticky sweet chilli beef was certainly enjoyable! Had a good laugh with the chap working which was a nice change from the norm of staff rushing about only to deliver drinks and food. Would have been five stars if there was a decent cider on draught for us non beer drinkers but I’m sure we will come back to try the breakfast!

I wanted to LOVE this place as everything about the decor and menu is great. We were a party of 10 with three children under ten. Unfortunately we all agreed that although the menu was excellent the food was in very small portions for the prices. For example a corned beef hash with very inexpensive ingredients was £17 and a starter size. Delicious, but we were left hungry afterwards. I could have quite easily eaten two portions after a walk around Tatton! Sadly the price/size means you would not come back regularly with large family as it’s too pricey. For £17 you would get a large roast dinner. Shame as I really really liked everything else about it.

Food is good and they do have some interesting plates and combinations that you cannot really find somewhere else, but this is the second time I am leaving the restaurant hungry. Usually their portions are small and they are not cheap either. The food quality is good but if i need 2 mains per person to fill then for me is not okay

Best pie I have ever eaten... Chicken, smoked bacon and Spinach. Wow honestly, it was sublime. Second time at this restaurant... and we'll be back next time we are in the area. Very good food and great atmosphere. Good sized portions. Good selection of healthy and non-alcoholic drinks

Most Delicious Food, fabulous friendly service, beautiful decor with even comfortable seating, awesome Chef Jamie masters the allergy cater challenge with delightful creations. Live music on a Friday and New Years Eve gives lovely ambience. Highly recommended visit. Check out the menu caters to all. Great slope access but couldn’t find a downstairs accessible toilet. Definitely returning and telling you too.

Went into Knutsford with the idea of going to a pub to celebrate my wife's birthday. The one I had in mind didn't serve food Monday so we walked from top street to the bottom street checking out various menus at 4 places we passed, non of which offered Fish n Chips on their lunch menu snd most seemed very quiet, understandably for a Monday. We came across KSK which looked busy and Christmassy so went there and weren't disappointed. We're not big eater and asked for Fish n Chips to share, which they served quickly and perfectly with two individully cooked fish and separate portions of mushy peas and tartare sauce. The bottle of NZ Sauvignon Blanc was a bit expensive but Knutsford is a lovely place but not cheap. The service was good and the restaurant has a nice vibe about it with young friendly staff.

Great service from Charlie and delicious gluten free options

Fast becoming one of our favourite locals thanks for the brilliant staff and the great food. We made a very last minute booking for 12 of us with 4 of those having dietary requirements. Charlie looked after us so well, was very thorough in making sure she got the dietaries correct and that it didn't seem an annoyance to her - which was hugely appreciated as not many restaurants get that right. Thanks for making such a special occasion even better Charlie ❤️

We came for a Friday night family dinner, we haven’t visited KSK for a while, so very glad we came back. The food was incredible - it used to be good, now it’s simply superb, we were really impressed. It was clear that the chef and team really pay care and attention to flavours and presentation. The service was friendly and efficient, drinks excellent and the live music added to a great Friday night.

This is a dreadful place. It’s like having a meal in a nightclub. The music is SO LOUD. I would normally walk out of a restaurant which was playing such loud music but my friend had booked it. We asked them to turn it down. They said they would. They didn’t. Had to take painkillers for a splitting headache when I got home. The food was terrible too. A very boring menu

Delicious Sunday lunch - we had the chicken, beef and vegan curried parsnip & sweet potato wellington. A 4 instead of a 5 as the wellington didn’t come with a Yorkie pud or cauliflower cheese and didn’t have a vegan replacement (feel like you should be offered to have the vegan option with non-vegan sides seeing as you’re paying the same amount) and the roasties weren’t crispy but did have good flavour. The veg was great (especially the cabbage). And soda water from the pump was £3?! Bit ridiculous. But taste wise was great. Not a fan of a memorised order instead of writing it down (something always gets forgotten, today was no exception!). But really nice place/vibe would recommend!

Lovely food, service terrible. Our food came before our coffee, took 35 mins to get 2 coffees & orange juice. Expensive too £3.95 for orange juice, not even freshly squeezed out of carton. £100 for brunch for 6 people (one child only had toast)

These days it seems difficult to just pop out for a quick bite to eat and a couple of drinks in knutsford without breaking the bank. Really pleased to see that King Street Kitchen offer a discount on wine and beer from 5-8pm on a Saturday. Plus there are some pretty well priced main course dishes on the menu. My wife enjoyed the burger and I absolutely love the nasi goreng. Service is always good here and there is a laid back atmosphere. We’ll keep going back!

This looked the part but fell short of its aesthetic. The food was poor, so bad we left most of it. Burnt, oily, flavourless, even the chips left an unpleasant taste.

Went with my family for a birthday treat last Sunday very impressed with the service and the brilliant food, i had the home made chicken and leek pie delicious. best pastry ever. My family all had the Sunday's roast. All more than happy with food. Can recommend with honesty.

Only criticism would be the children's portions didn't satisfy my 9 year old son who has a healthy appetite and I had to order a second portion. Otherwise both times we've been it's been fantastic.

So so so so so so rubbish. Tasteless. So many packet alternatives (tacos, salsa, ready grated cheese). Burger and tacos, both as below average and tasteless as each other. Couldn't even attempt to eat it. Embarrassingly expensive menu for the quality. 'wow this is like tgi's meal' and 'its worse than what my mum would make' amongst the reviews (and this is NOT a compliment).

Good vegetarian options on the Sunday menu. Vegan Wellington was excellent. Friendly staff managed to get us a table even though it was very busy. Noisy when we arrived at 1.30pm but quietened when quite a few larger groups had left by 2.30pm.

Our visit to KSK was an experience like no other. Despite the gloomy weather on Monday morning, we felt warmly welcomed in its cozy and inviting atmosphere. We enjoyed plenty of space set at tables or booths with a view onto the street – all comfortable for us to enjoy our time here! The staff were friendly and attentive as well as always providing fresh, exquisite dishes from their breakfast selection - it's not something one wants to pass up! With such hospitality, there is certainly no doubt that we'll be back soon!

I avoid gluten and soya due to my health condition and sometime, it is difficult to find an accommodating cuisine when I go out. On this occasion, we booked in this restaurant for my daughter's birthday. I was nicely surprised when the chef came out himself to discuss gluten and soya free options with me. We went into Knutsford with the plan to go somewhere else but ended up here. We are glad we did as it was a fantastic meal! Portions a bit small, but didn’t distract from the over all meal. Pretty good prices for Knutsford and the team were really helpful even though it was full. Will be back.

Went to the KSK to help friends celebrate their daughters birthday. We really enjoyed our visit. An interesting restaurant with Vegan food, our friends tread this path. We don't (although I avoid gluten) but all foibles were catered for and the meal was excellent. We are looking forward to a return visit.

This is a really nice restaurant and the food is great; the menu is very varied and interesting, and I've enjoyed it every time I've eaten here. They also do takeaway, which is great. I do think it's expensive, though.

Sunday lunch for 4 at this beautiful restaurant on the day of the Christmas markets. Vegetarian option of parsnip and butternut Wellington with roast potatoes, carrots, cauliflower cheese and the most enormous yorkshire pudding. Stuffed wasn't the word! Loved it. Thank you
