The best restaurants in Carlisle North West

Really nice place. Food was excellent, very friendly staff. Would recommend.

Arrived Saturday lunchtime shown to rooms which were excellent visited friends in village returned for evening meal excellent food and service left Sunday after very hearty full breakfast cannot fault the place and will visit again when in the area

I arrived in Carlisle on a Sunday afternoon and really wanted a roast. None of the pubs were dog-friendly. It was a bit drizzly but this place had some covered seating out the front. I ordered the roast chicken and it was lovely! Moist and tender, with plenty of veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. The waitress who served me was also great.

Me and my wife went there on Sunday the 15th of October with our 2 dog. lovely welcome from the staff .we decided to order food and that when it went down hill we order the steak pie and chips with veg it was absolutely disgusting we had to feed the food to the dogs when they weren’t looking i was a bit braver and eat a bit more than my wife . It is the 19th of October and I’ve had just got over the bad stomach , (I won’t be rude )I’ve not been work until today because I’ve been so ill and I recommend that no one should eat there and this place should be reported. And it was a walk in The google account was in my sons name !

On arrival poor hospitality, on seats for waiting, 20 minute delay for our table. Had to ask for menus, serviettes and water. Mix up with order. Long wait for starters, standard of food poor. Restaurant could have been warmer.

Love the fish and chips here. Not oily tasty crispy and plenty for the money

Got a takeaway very expensive as they charge on average £8.00 dish then an extra £2.00 for your rice or chips nearly £20 for two meals if they cut meal portion down and gave you chips or the rice with the dish it would be a good buy but tryed it to expensive to eat out very salty dishes so what ya saying is £11 for one meal we won't be back .

Great food wish I found them months ago

Really lovely place inside with attentive staff and lovely food. Reasonably priced too.

We decided to go "ten pin" bowling at Hollywood Bowl in Carlisle. But when we got there, it was far too busy, extremely noisy from the various arcade machines & awful flashing lights that we didn't want to wait an hour for the lane. Quite frankly, we were relieved that we didn't get a lane! And that view came from a 13 yr old!!

Bonito local, y muy buena atención. Servicio bastante lento. Buena comida a base de pollo con diferentes presentaciones
