The best restaurants in Carlisle North West

The food was not worth the price at all,burger was served just by itself as I asked for no red onion not even a bit off lettuce or salad in sight!my husbands lasagne was so hard on top he could barely cut through it also the chicken fajitas were chewy and unedible and served with a wrap which was stone cold as if straight from the fridge,will most definitely not be back

Really nice Sunday roast and I loved the Carmel crunch sundae and bought some lovely biscuits. Would definitely come again.

This is a lovely little café attached to a great bookshop in the centre of Carlisle near the castle. The team here are super friendly and the food is freshly prepared to order. This is a sister café to the main John Watt café in town. Recommended for a spot of lunch here.

Honestly, disgusting. Worst Indian I've ever had. We had guests and decided to get a £50+ takeaway order. It honestly tasted like someone had tripped and dropped a bucket of sugar into every single curry we ordered - Masala, Korma, and Makkhani. All I ate from our £50+ takeaway order was my plain naan (when I'd ordered a garlic naan) dipped into a sugary sugary curry sauce. TOTAL WASTE of money 🤢🤢🤢 Revolting

First time visit tonight. Food was absolutely deeelicious Service good and the waiter was funny and interacted well with us.

I'm surprised the place is still open. The food is below par. The pizza was rubbish. The young waitress is very rude. Wouldn't go back. And the owner does not like criticism at all and fires back. Constructive criticism goes a long way. Your food is rubbish. And so is your attitude.

Great customers amazing atmosphere with quiz & bingo

Absolutely outstanding! Everything was exceptional from start to finish. The food was delicious. Varied but not overwhelming menu, with lots of local suppliers. Kat, who served us was engaging, knowledgable about the menu and highly efficient. We had a very large dog with us and nothing was too much fuss. I can't wait to go back for an overnight stay because if the clenliness of the restaurant and rest room is anything to go by, I'm sure the accommodation is equally impressive.

VERY PLEASANT STAFF DESPITE IT BEING REALLY BUSY. WIDE CHOICE OF FOOD AT REASONABLE PRICES. HAVE A FUNCTION ROOM UPSTAIRS WHERE LARGER GROUPS OF PEOPLE CAN DINE WHICH IS GOOD FOR GROUP GATHERINGS. I DONT EAT A LOT OF ITALIAN BUT WAS EASILY ABLE TO FIND SOMETHING SUITABLE TO EAT
