Great night out, Archie served us shots super quickly and was so lovely when I was asking him questions!

Great service, especially from Archie, recommended a shot of gin that made me forget my last name. 10/10.

Excellent service from the bar staff especially Karis who goes over and above expectations. I can’t comment on the food because I don’t eat when I’m out. Gonna miss Jahn but I’m sure James can fill his boots as head manager?……

I came here recently with my partner for a couple of drinks while in the city. This place was fairly busy especially for a Monday however I think it is one of the few places open on a Monday locally. The prices were fair and service quick and staff friendly. The only downside I would say is that it was fairly cold however we still had a nice time

Me and 3 friends joined on a Sunday for bottomless brunch. Served by Karis couldn’t have been more helpful we were rather loud but made us feel very welcome thank you. Sorry it’s took a few weeks to post.

We had a great visit to Walkabout to watch the rugby. We had a wee bit of trouble with the online booking system so we popped in prior to kick off to see if our booking went through. I have to say Kel and her team could not have been more helpful, she sorted everything out and we had a booth reserved with direct view to watch our game. The following day we popped back in to sort out another wee problem. The manager sorted this quickly and with some great chat, he even remembered us from the day before. What I will say is this team know everything about customer service, very professional, very much appreciated thanks.

Fantastic place for a night out, food,drink music, sports on the TV most nights too.

Have frequented Walkabout multiple times over the past month. The food has been great quality. I have had the Melted Cheese Burger and Wings. The wings could have been tossing in sauce, personal preference. Service has been good, not always a person available but they come promptly. Will go again to eat and watch sports.

This was a fantastic pub for lunch, with a very jubilant interior! This is contributed to from the surfboards and other designs, lighting adds to the scene and the counter is well-presented too. I had a yummy beef burger with amazing fries and a refreshing pint of Strongbow, sitting comfortable at large seating for a clean table!

Meh, what else to say. It's definitely changed over the years but it hasn't moved in the right direction. Horribly rude and slow bar staff, To the point they almost seem ignorant. I don't know if some nights are busier than expected so less staff or the staff are that slow they feel non existent

New doorstaff are super friendly especially the women. Helped me when I lost my friends and my belongings, went out her way to make sure I was ok and was able to get home safe.

I’ve been going to walkabout in Carlisle for years but I will definitely not be back. The door staff’s behaviour is absolutely disgusting not letting someone in for wearing cargo pants. Since when were cargo pants not classed as fashionable on a night out. Then as we we walk away one of them utters “night night” trying to be patronising. With how quiet it was on a Saturday night the place will be shut down in a month all because of the door staff. Letting the place down.

Came to Carlisle & had an amazing night here. Welcomed in & felt safe with the great door team. The bar staff were amazing even though it was busy. Loved the DJ & played all our requests. Thank you to the management. Can't wait to be back again!!

Such a nice place for a wee night out! Came here with some friends and the atmosphere was amazing. The bar staff were class and we never ever waited long for our drinks. They were all lovely and friendly, especially Adam and Zeal. Would defo recommend going here if you’re in the area

Great experience! What truly stood out was the exceptional service, and in particular, the tall gentleman with a remarkable long neck. The name escapes me, I think it was Rohan? Kudos to the team for setting the standard for exceptional customer service!

Despite being along the border the DJ was excessively anti-scottsish to the extent it was off-putting to our group. We expected an enjoyable weekend but were subjected to an aggressive start. I've experienced warmer welcomes in London and am bitterly disappointed in the DJ at walkabout for their unwelcoming behaviour.

Best New Years Ever. Genuinely best new years ever had, the staff created an amazing atmosphere, the door staff extremely professional at keeping everyone safe, manager has this spot nailed, best bar in Carlisle.

Being costumer for nearly 10 years. Still a good place to have a drink. Quietly. But 10 years past i have to say , still a good place to enjoy a bit of fun but .....not the same as it's use to be. Still has good food and some kind employees but all.

Completely ridiculous slow service, I ordered a calrlig which was flat the bar man replaced it no problem. Waiting to order another pint, 4 staff behind the bar. im waiting along with 3 other customers with no joy, 1 was serving, 2 were putting glasses from the washer the shelf and the other was in a world of his own lalalal. got refused entry for wearing tracksuit bottoms was told it was company policy. can anyone verify it is company policy? got a cheek to refuse me anyways floors and tables were so sticky and grotty. after id been him and got changed i went in and was very disappointed, toilets were stinking. there was actually sick all the way to the toilets reported it and was still there an hour later and it wasn’t busy so it’s not as if they didn’t have time.

Waited 20 mins at the bar, having other people push in, to be served a pint that definitely needed a line clean. Would not recommend as I could see bartenders just stood laughing and talking instead of serving.

One of the good pub in Carlisle. Visited once and it was terribly busy.. It took half hour to enter inside. £4 was entry fee.

Visited Walkabout and had a fabulous experience, I was warmly greeted by Lisa on the bar who explained their range of drinks with personal recommendations, decided to opt for a Dark Fruit Strongbow, you can tell how passionate the venue is about quality drink as...
