Excellent food and good value for money. Everyone enjoyed their Turkey Pork and Fish, and absolutely no complaints.Roaring log fire added to the atmosphere, and everyone agreed to try and return soon.

We really enjoyed our authentic Thai meal today. We ordered a Chicken Massaman and Chicken Thai Green Curry. It was delicious, full of flavour, and very filling.

A wonderful time yesterday celebrating our mums 80th birthday. Excellent food and staff and the party of 14 very well catered for, would definitely recommend. Favourites from our food choices were the pea risotto, pulled pork wrap and fish and chips (excellent chips!). Thank you for a memorable afternoon.

The food here is bloody amazing. I always get the schnitzel and it's beyond being amazing it's so good. They always cater to every need at no extra cost it's sad to see them go.

What a Gem 💎, first visit and a Gold 🥇 mine. Fresh ingredients, friendly 😀 good home cooked food, even hot when I got back home. Can also sit in and eat too. Just look across the road is the Old Pagoda Nightclub in view. Thanks for delicious food (even served in Food containers NOT polystyrene that sweats food).... Nice staff very helpful, had a bacon baguette, bacon was very fatty, spoiled was was otherwise a decent sausage and bacon baguette.

Ordered afternoon tea to take away, to celebrate a special birthday. The ladies were so helpful and added an extra tea to the order when we needed to add an extra guest. All the food was made fresh on the day, and was absolutely delicious we had a fantastic afternoon.

What a great place! I popped up to the area for a day out and a local shop recommended The Good Sister as the best place to get a coffee. They were not wrong! Great coffee and the food. I’ll be back when I’m local. Friendly staff and good food is always a winner.

Staying at local caravan and motorhome site. Thought we’d support local charity Oak Tree Animals’ Charity. Had delicious generous sized homemade cheese scone, raspberry scone and coffees served by friendly staff in a pleasant clean welcoming environment. Bonus dog walk opposite site with dog activity ares and amazing views.

Can’t wait to repeat Sunday’s fabulous afternoon tea at Bessiestown. Everything was home made, so tasty and melt in the mouth. Too much for us to manage but what we couldn’t eat was plated and given to us to take home. Couldn’t fault the experience.

Lovely little log cabin coffee shop beautifully clean and the coffee and cakes are good . we went in when we was looking for plants for our garden. The staff are brilliant and professional. So if you would like a coffee or a light lunch while looking for plants for your garden come here its a little gem
