The food here is bloody amazing. I always get the schnitzel and it's beyond being amazing it's so good. They always cater to every need at no extra cost it's sad to see them go.

We booked for the vegan night but couldn't make it due to illness. The owner was amazing. So understanding and let us collect it as takeaway to enjoy when better. Even as a takeaway it was so delicious and we look forward to going back for a proper sit down meal sometime! Thank you again for everything!

Nice staff very helpful, had a bacon baguette, bacon was very fatty, spoiled was was otherwise a decent sausage and bacon baguette.

Ordered afternoon tea to take away, to celebrate a special birthday. The ladies were so helpful and added an extra tea to the order when we needed to add an extra guest. All the food was made fresh on the day, and was absolutely delicious we had a fantastic afternoon.

Absolutely love the food and the staff are the best :) it make you feel like you are in Greece :)

Lovely little log cabin coffee shop beautifully clean and the coffee and cakes are good . we went in when we was looking for plants for our garden. The staff are brilliant and professional. So if you would like a coffee or a light lunch while looking for plants for your garden come here its a little gem

Can’t wait to repeat Sunday’s fabulous afternoon tea at Bessiestown. Everything was home made, so tasty and melt in the mouth. Too much for us to manage but what we couldn’t eat was plated and given to us to take home. Couldn’t fault the experience.

We arrived to a very warm welcome indeed from Gill (a former colleague of my partner David) to celebrate my 80th birthday with afternoon tea along with two good friends . We cannot praise the service, ambience and the food highly enough - the owner Val even popping her head round the doorway to ask if we were being treated well? We certainly were - this was to the standard of a top London hotel and what a bargain at £25, having a few years ago paid £10 for a coffee & scone on the terrace of Buckingham Palace! Great choice of records at a good price ,picked myself a nice single up and had tasty some ice-cream from the cafe as well . Cool vibes and the owners were lovely as well 😀

Six of us had our annual golf and Christmas lunch. First class service from the staff and the two chefs provided an excellent three course festive menu. Fantastic high quality food.

Found this place by chance and what a find. I'm not vegetarian but tried the butter nut squash curry and rice and walked to the river to eat it. All packaging (including knifes and forks) bio-degradable. The curry would have given my local curry house a good run for the money and not one bit of plastic in site. Outstanding value for money and a lovely view over the river. In none Covid times we would have gone to the pub but this was one of the few gains from this outbreak, a great curry overlooking the river. Only regret was I didn't buy one of those brownies.
