We had a table of 10 for a 90th birthday party. The staff welcomed us and waited on us hand and foot throughout the whole experience and were friendly and helpful. The chef cooked beautiful food and we were all very happy with our meals. 10/10!

Four of us popped in today for lunch and it was Delicious. We hadn't booked but the lovely waitress soon sorted us out with a table that had a stunning view of the lake and golf course. Two of us had the Steak pie , while my Mrs had the Lamb flatbread and then our friend had the Fish and Chips. The food was Delicious, cooked well and nicely presented. We even had room for deserts which were also amazing , the great food along with the fantastic service combined with a very reasonable price and a stunning location made it a very memorable lunch, we can't wait to return 👍🏻

Excellent night tonight at burger night. Food was delicious lovely menu. Warm friendly and inviting staff. Lovely warm atmosphere in the restaurant. Highly recommend and will of course be back.

Met friends for a lovely evening meal here on the eat out to help scheme. Service was excellent with friendly staff and would highly recommend, all Covid protocols in place. Food was of a high standard and would definitely return.

We booked 1up for my mother's 91st birthday lunch. We pre ordered due to the fact that there was a function on in the tent. We were made very welcome on arrival and our table was ready for us. Our group varied from 3 years to 91 years old and the menu catered for us all. The service and food was excellent. The restaurant and facilities were lovely and clean and we would certainly return as it catered for all of our needs and it provided good value for money and the staff were very professional.

Came for lunch with family. Lovely surroundings, very tranquil. Had a very tasty lunch, portions quite big. Staff very friendly and efficient. Would recommend a visit.

Came with family on a Sunday lunchtime. Staff were very attentive and the food was very good. Lovely surroundings as well overlooking the golf course.

We had a lovely lunch at the 1Up - lovely surroundings, atmosphere & lovely helpful staff. We had been for lunch before & really enjoyed the range of light bites & main courses. My soup/sandwich combo was fab...the minestrone soup was delicious (best I’ve had!) served with a very tasty coronation chicken sandwich & a dressed salad...looked & tasted fab! The 3 egg omelette is a favourite of my Aunt’s too! Finished off with Lakes Ice Cream - 10/10 all round! We’ll be back!

Could not reccomend this place enough! Staff are so helpful and friendly! Prices are reasonable and the food is divine... always! Really do advise a meal here or a few drinks views are lovely too :) please visit!! Gemma and John carlisle
