Lyn is always friendly and the food good. Sitting outside on a sunny day, drinking cappuccino (or tea, or a cold drink) and contemplating life while looking at the sheep in the next door field is very relaxing!

Stopped off here with the mrs..saturday morning in july Very clean and well presented coffee shop .....and ...more The crab salad was delicious with fresh bread ,garnish and leaves ...presented beautifully!I had the full english ...with tasty sausages ,suculent bacon ,beans ,mushrooms and tomatoe....dont eat eggs so i was given more bacon came with 2 slices of toast and butter....very reasonable and well presented The log cabin cafe has a 5 star cleansliness ratingI didnt observe any "chain smokers" in the outside area !wich is a suitable distance and could not compromise my visit !I read of these chain smokers the author .....must have enjoyed the smokers or maybe the cafe in pleasent surrounding to observe all this chain smoking !!!!It must be noted the cafe is in the grounds of a busy garden centre and what goes on at a "distance" cannot be the responsibility of the cafe .Will be back often to refresh en route to carlisle .....oh happy days !

Stopped off here a few times now. Lovely coffee just put off by the same people standing outside smoking cigarettes one after the other. Not a good advert for otherwise what would be a lovely place with a lovely garden center and play area

We went to the Cabin first in the Summer with my father in law, who is 93. Excellent meal and great service. We have just been back for Christmas Dinner, £9 for three courses, and so much food we had to take the pudding home.It is simple, home cooked food done well, with great service, especially to her elderly customers. They also do tea, coffee, cakes, breakfast. Its on the Longtown Road just after the William Howard School.

We popped in for a cool drink on a gloriously sunny day having bought plants from the Oakbank Nursery. We read the menu and decided to have lunch as there was a great selection and very reasonably priced. The presentation was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal sitting outside , Lynne introduced herself and she is a great host, who serves delicious food at a reasonable price. We will be back as we have heard about her Sunday afternoon tea and if today is anything to go by it will be first class.

I have visited the coffee cabin a number of times and I must say every visit has been first class. Lynne is fabulous at what she does and you always receive a warm welcome. All of the food is prepared fresh to order and the homemade cakes are to die for!!! I have eaten in many places in Brampton and this by far the best. If your looking for fab food and a friendly face then this is where you need to go! The location is beautiful with lovely views and is based inside of a garden centre which is also handy if your wanting to do a bit of shopping. Can't recommend this place enough and you certainly get value for money.

Whilst looking at a car a few miles away we stumbled upon The coffee cabin in need of refreshments. We were not dissapointed. We were greeted with a smile and a warm friendly manor. The service was quick and the cappuccino was beautifully blended, The carrot cake was amongst the best I have tasted and was homemade by the owner Lynne.I would thoroughly recommend this hidden treasure and hope to pass again soon as another visit is definitely on the cards.

Visited half a dozen times in the last year. The owners know how to run a village pub/restaurant. Tastefully quirky interior design. Excellent but down to earth wine menu. Top quality cask ales. Dog friendly. Very convivial atmosphere and a range of seasonal events. But top of the shop s the quality of the food. Last night we had the best cheese soufflé ever. Then the tastiest lamb, perfectly cooked. It melted with tenderness and a happy organic rearing. The steak was sublime. We’ve covered many signature dishes in recent months and always come away delighted. Prices are reasonable for the quality delivered. Well done to the whole team. A must visit.

Lovely stopping off point after a long walk. First class food- both the evening meal and the breakfast. Lots of little extra touches that made the stay perfect including a place to leave soggy boots to dry off so they were nice and toastie the next morning. Welcoming host who made this solo female walker feel safe and welcome. Highly recommended.
