The best restaurants in Keswick Allerdale North West

A fantastic experience from the minute you walk through the door Greeted by a fantastic front of house who immediately made us feel very welcome Food was absolutely delightful, also a great choice of drinks All staff were fantastic Cannot recommend this place highly enough Looking forward to a return visit next time I an in Keswick

Friendly warm welcome and service and really yummy pancake stack ( bacon sausage cheese) with french toast topper and a home made salt beef bagel hit the spot as did the Bloody Mary (easy on the hot sauce! ) and quality apple juice.

We have been here many times and always enjoy beautifully cooked food, well presented by lovely staff. This time was no different, the food was excellent but we were a bit disappointed by the menu reverting to how it was when the restaurant opened when it seemed as if it didn't know what type of food it was meant to be. It is now split into Food Menu described as tapas style, Sharing (which is obvious), and Chef's Specialty : Small Plates. I fail to see the difference between small plates and tapas style and this is not helped by the fact that some of the small plates are bigger than others. It all adds up to making the customer confused, so I hope by the time we come back that they see sense and revert back to 'small plates'. However, we did enjoy the food and the atmosphere etc etc.

Friendly and professional staff. Service was outstanding, great timing of ordering to the dishes arriving at our table. Will definitely book again when visiting the area.

Enjoyed. A very niche pub but with a good amount of seating and tens of beers available. Would recommend if you're in the area and searching for a pub. Spoons across the road but I'd always come here instead.

Great cafe in a superb location offering job opportunities to young adults with disabilities surrounded by support, deserves to be a success. Really enjoyed our visit plenty of seats both inside & out, the service was great & the staff member really engaging, only minor gripe was it stated bacon baps/rolls & we got ciabatta rolls which are a different texture & more difficult to consume when slightly older, maybe worth just checking the menu & if things differ, to advise customers, that aside, still a very pleasant visit & happy to contribute to such a great cause!

Really nice hotel, stayed for one night, great location, staff very good and polite. Room nice could maybe do with a fridge, had a meal in the restaurant, good food and service, wine was only let down, poor bottle of red in my opinion, breckfast very good, went for the full Cumbria very nice, all in all very pleased and will return,

Great place, only popped in for a drink but the pizzas looked that good we couldn't resist and we weren't disappointed!

Amazing food, service and music choice! The full English is the best in Keswick and very reasonable! We’ll 100% be back thank you!

We only stopped for a cup of tea. Cakes looked good though.
