These burgers are absolutely amazing and delicious and priced correctly,.would be back to eat in a heartbeat and great service when the place was busy

The queue to get in was long but so glad we waited. Drinks at the bar were lush while we waited for a table, we had a table outside on the balcony under the heaters which was fine on a warm April evening. The burgers were amazing and the portions are large. Service was great and it looked like diners at surrounding tables were enjoying there's too. We'll definitely come back when in the area

Great burger place that stays open late. Nice people and they have chefs that work after 20.30 hrs on a Saturday night, unlike many other places.

Absolutely love this place - consistently amazing!! We’ve been to The Round Keswick several times now, and every visit has been outstanding. The burgers are hands-down the best we’ve had, and the chips are always spot on. Having tried a number of burgers, I would highly recommend the Pike O’Pickle as my personal favourite – it’s a standout! Pair it with their sweet potato fries or crinkle chips and you’re in for a treat. Their innovative cocktails are also fantastic – I would recommend ordering the pina colada slush. What really sets The Round apart, though, is the exceptional customer service from the entire team. Our server Lily was especially attentive tonight, making the experience even better. Keep up the great work! A definite favourite – can’t wait to come back again!

Visiting the area and got recommended this place by our AirBnB host. It did not disappoint! I’ve had some good burgers and this was up there with some of the best! I particularly enjoyed the different flavours away from your classic burgers. The fries were nice and crispy and the chipotle mayo was great! We had a couple of people in our party who were vegans and there was really good options for them too and they loved their food. Would definitely recommend and don’t be put off by any queues outside - it goes quickly!!

Stunningly good burger joint with great beer and cocktails too. You can't book though, but turn around is pretty quick. At the pricier end of Keswick food, but all locally sourced, good quality ingredients cost money.

Good choice of burgers (incl veggie and vegan options) with options for fries and salads. We enjoyed our veggie burgers, with great service too. A queue when we arrived (no bookings) but this soon cleared.

A fantastic eatery, the staff were really good and the service was quick. The food was fresh and tasty. They are more than happy to do things different for kids if they don't like the menu.

Loved everything about this place! Only waited about 10 mins for a table and I went for the Harissa Stickle burger (lamb), sweet potato fries and a raspberry mojito - everything was absolutely delicious and I could have drank the chipotle sauce by the bottle!

There was a queue, but it moved quickly and was well worth the wait. The classic burger and fries were freshly made and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, everyone was helpful and friendly.

The best food spot in Keswick! Worth the wait in the queue outside (it also goes down really quickly). Food was INCREDIBLE, especially the sweet potato fries, katsu burger, and red velvet cookie. Highly recommend and service was great.

Incredible place! We visited here last year for cocktails, but had already eaten - so this trip we planned to go and eat. We were not disappointed!! Since I’ve come home, I’ve not stopped thinking about how amazing my burger was. I had the summits burn, and it was beautiful! The staff are all so lovely and helpful, such a great atmosphere! We will be back asap!!!

Fantastic Burger Restaurant which is very popular. No bookings so you do have to queue but the wait which wasn’t long in our case was worth it. Very efficient service, friendly staff and tasty food.

Went not long after opening on a Sunday. Got a table no bother, staff were very friendly and attentive. We all had different burgers and everyone thought they were amazing. Definitely worth checking out.

Overhyped. Staff are very nice, very welcoming, but the food was over hyped by friends and family from my point of view. My basic burger tasted very off putting, and my girls and mates burger was mediocre at best. Not worth the money for food.

Great burgers 🍔 always on my three visits over the last years, staff always seam a bit too rushed and happy to help when available. Ordered a lemonade which was more sparkling water mentioned to the staff but the new drink didn't come till I'd finished my meal 😭 If it's a quick bite you want it's great but I wouldn't be going back for a full sit down meal.

Amazing spot in the heart of Keswick. Innovative burgers which were unique and so tasty! Definitely worth the wait! Shout out to the peach margs (and also to nacho and ellie our servers and the great staff)! Really loved the personal decor and trivia around the restaurant. Must visit if in the area!

First visit after one of my besties recommended this place and I went for a birthday treat. Opened at 3pm on the day we visited and we stood outside looking at their amazing menu while we waited. By the time they opened, there was quite a queue behind us, which just shows how popular this place is. Lovely warm welcome from Nacho, who explained the menu and was very attentive during our visit. We sat in the back room which leads outside to a seating area. We LOVED this room. My husband is a runner & cyclist so we spent ages looking at the decor and watching the film they had playing, which had footage of the races in The Lakes. We chose different burgers, which were high quality and tasted divine. Chris chose loaded fries as a side and I picked the mac n cheese - wow, I could have eaten an entire huge bowl! It was delicious!! I treat myself to a peach mocktail, then a Pear Grylls cocktail - both were superb and we even had room for pud, picking each of the 2 choices on the menu. We are frequent visitors to Keswick so will definitely return to sample one of the other amazing sounding burgers - might try their special burger next time. Great find and so interesting to learn of the Bob Graham ‘Round’ Race 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Ideally situated by the market square. Looks like a burger bar, and it is, but the quality of the ingredients elevates it. Great option to swap out the burger bun for a salad that i have to say was delicious. Fun and interesting.

This is our second time here. Food is delicious and locally sourced. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It’s walk ins only but there’s an upstairs and courtyard as well. We arrived today at 3.15 and it was filling up whilst we were there. Service very efficient. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Keswick.

This place is a little gem. You are spoilt for choice with the burger menu! Was hard to decide but I went for the harrisa lamb burger and partner had the summit burger. Both amazing and kimich slaw as a side perfect! Fantastic selection of cocktails and beers too. Definitely recommend if you are looking for the best burgers in the lakes!

We came across this restaurant was looking for somewhere to eat whilst hiking in Lake District. We ordered the Katsu burger and the lamb burger with some sweet potato fries and Mac and cheese. My partner said the Lamberger was one of the best he’s ever had! Whereas for me the Katsu chicken burger needed a bit more flavour as I thought it was rather bland. And the customer service was amazing and everyone made sure we were looked after/checked in the whole time. What really stood out for me was the brochure explaining what the restaurant is about and their partnerships with local distributors. The whole concept of using local produce was great! The decor and aesthetic of the restaurants really lovely. The only negative is the long queue outside the restaurant, but I guess that’s just a testament of how popular the restaurant truly is !

I had an amazing experience at The Round! The menu clearly indicated that most items were gluten free, but I was a bit cautious about cross contamination. Fern reassured me that the gluten free options were safe for coeliacs, even the chips! There was a great selection of vegan options too, and Fern made sure to bring over special vegan versions of the burger sauces. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely made our visit enjoyable. I'll definitely be coming back!

Tried to go here but they had a queue outside!!! I'm not in the fashion of waiting in a ridiculously long queue to eat. Especially somewhere so rural. May come back. More likely to just go somewhere else. Would not recommend.

I was at The Round yesterday and I can’t wait to go back again. I ordered the Katsu Bells chicken burger (also a portion of crinkle cut fries and a mac and cheese to share). Burger was really nice, burger sauce on the table was so good but the mac and cheese was next level - best I’ve ever tasted, so cheesy! You have to order fries separate for an extra £4, they don’t come with the burger as they would in most other places. There’s usually a queue (and now I see why!) they don’t take bookings, you just have to wait. There was no queue last night, we just walked straight in and seated. I love that it’s dog friendly 😊

We visited as a family of 6 with 2 dogs on recommendations from a local. Burger and drinks selection was good, staff were accommodating, friendly and efficient, facilities were immaculate. Burgers were really tasty. Only issue I had was sides are extra and when I'm paying a premium price I expect sides to be included. But that's just my opinion

Best Burgers in Keswick! There is a reason there’s a giant queue out the door for this place (but don’t worry, it moves quick as it’s walk ins only). Top quality burgers and sides- personal favourite was the Hoistsacks and the Chilli loaded fries. Dog friendly too in true Keswick style! P.S. The Peach Margarita is amazing!

We've eaten at the Round quite a few times and I have to say that the quality of the food is always excellent. The burgers are juicy, full of flavour and comes with an interesting mix of fillings. The burgers are playfully names after some local hills. However, I was disappointed as my favourite burger (the High Ruben) wasn't on the menu - I choose something else (Pike O'Pickle) that was almost as good, but not quite. I'm considering a petition to bring the High Ruben back !! Overall, fantastic food, brilliant service and whilst not the cheapest place to eat, is well worth a visit - easily our favourite burgers (ahead of Honest Burger and Byron). Would we go back - yes (especially if the High Ruben makes a return) Would we recommend to others - yes, and frequently do.

We were stopped over in Keswick and came across this little gem on the high street. Kerb appeal 10/10!! Inside is so cosy and the atmosphere is lovely. Great cocktails and burgers at really reasonable prices. Staff all very attentive and actually looked like they enjoyed working there! Definitely a place to stop for some good food

We walked past this Burger bar venue several times on Friday night, each time there were several people queuing outside waiting for a table. Today, Saturday, Keswick was a lot quieter and we were able to go straight in. We both had speciality burgers with cheesy fries. Very good food and excellent service. Would recommend.

While having a midweek break in Brampton with family we decided on a visit to Keswick for the day. After a walk about the lake etc we decided to visit the town centre for some lunch, my daughter had heard of good reviews about The Round so decided to give it a try. We queued outside as doesn’t open until 3pm and pleased we did, first in the queue with a steady line forming behind us. We were invited in at 3 o clock by a very pleasant gent and asked to choose a seat wherever we liked. A waitress was with us within minutes taking our drinks and food order. Drinks arrived and didn’t wait too long after for our food to arrive. Wow! We chose Katsu burger, hoisinstack burger and the pulled pork topped burger served with crinkle fries and a choice of topping for an extra couple of quid. All food was outstanding. A massive 5 stars for both service and food we will definitely be visiting again when in the area and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for top class service and the ultimate best burgers around. Well done to all, I wish we had one of these near our hometown.

Very happy with the burgers we had here, including the option to replace the bun with a salad which my wife really appreciated. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the garnishing with the burger, and fries, were all great. We had to wait a while to get in on a Friday night, but it was worth hanging about

Fresh takes on the Classic Burger. Great sides (crinkle chips / macaroni cheese) washed down with interesting Lager and IPA. Fab service with a great attitude topped off an impromptu visit to this little gem.

Called in today for lunch when they opened at 3pm, luckily we were near the front because the queue was long. The staff were amazing considering the place filled completely within 10 mins. Staff attentive and always smiling, food was served promptly and tasted lush. Definitely the place to go for a hearty burger.

Wow! My partner's Mum had spotted The Round's famous chocaholic sundae recommended in a newspaper and knowing how much he loves the Lakes sent a photo to him. She very sadly passed away earlier this year and he never got to try it before to give her a review. Our plan this week had been to try the sundae in her honour, and having noticed it was no longer on the menu - I emailed ahead to ask if their chocolate brownie dessert might be able to be made into a sundae instead. Nacho replied telling us that'd be no problem. When we ordered we were totally overwhelmed to realise not only had they been out especially to source the ingredients for the sundae as it was originally, but they also added it on the house as a lovely gesture. Nacho and his Team were beyond hospitable and truly went above & beyond for my partner. We'll never forget their kindness. Plus we have to mention... the sundae was DELICIOUS just like everything else we tried. A very special place ❤️

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Extra friendly and efficient staff. It’s difficult to decide which burger to have as they all sound so tasty. Food allergies catered for without fuss and waiting staff speak to the chef about ingredients they are not sure about. Slight alterations can easily be made. I felt confident ordering a gluten and dairy free meal rather than having to forgo meat with the vegan options. The vegan options also sounded lovely. Lastly the option to swap a burger bun for a salad is a great idea. The salad is full of tasty ingredients and far from a bog standard lettuce leaf. Great value and a very tasty meal. 100% recommend.

A visit to Keswick is not complete without a meal from the round, great service followed by great food, i can recommend the whole menu twice!!

Burgers are delicious, loaded fries and nachos great too. Service is very good, quick and friendly. can get quite busy and often queues in front of the restaurant. Cocktails are great and very tasty, I can recommend the cocktail sharing board.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I came for my birthday and they gave me two free mini cocktails which I thought was so lovely ! The restaurant was packed and we did wait quite a while for food but it was worth it. The burgers aren't the biggest but you can tell the high quality of all the ingredients. Every single staff member was friendly and approachable and made the experience even better. The menu choices are fantastic. My only criticism is the chairs we sat on were plastic and a bit uncomfortable but other than that, an amazing place if you love burgers !

Went to this place for the first time this evening after reading amazing reviews. Was greeted by a pleasant member of staff on entering. No queue & offered a choice of two tables. Quick service to place our order. Food was served fast & it was presented so well & was so tasty & hot. Had a cocktail which was very nice. The decor & atmosphere is lovely. All staff very pleasant & efficient. Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.

Went there on 30th November, beautiful window seat people watching drinking parachute drop and eating a fantastic chicken burger. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and warm friendly service, a most enjoyable time with family.

I really like the Round in Keswick. The food is simple yet tasty. I find it is a little overrated but I do really like the atmosphere here. Unfortunately, you can't book here for dinner which is slightly annoying. Overall, I would highly recommend if you are in Keswick.

A queue at the door had us worried, but they sat 9 of us surprisingly quickly. Food was incredible with no one at the table disappointed, drinks where also great after a day in the hills, especially the strawberry Daiquiri. The service was top tier and again for 9 people drinks and food where served very quickly for a busy Saturday night Fantastic options for veggie and vegan which was really nice to have as a primarily burger based theme. Could not recommend enough.

Recently had a takeaway from the round. What a great service. Phoned answered within two rings and food ready for the time I asked. Burgers were unbelievable! We also had bacon and cheese fried and wow!!

Absolutely amazing burgers, we have been before and they never disappoint. I would strongly recommend the Summits Burns it's absolutely delicious. I would also say to get a side of crinkle cut chips as the burger alone might not fill you up. Our waitress was super friendly (we didn't catch her name) and made the whole experience that little bit better.

I visited The Round with my husband, 11 year old, 9 year old and puppy. We all absolutely loved our meals. I am gluten intolerant and a vegetarian and had loads of choice on the menu. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in Keswick.

All the staff were very friendly and attentive, Gabe was particularly helpful. We had a Beet the Pack burger and a crispy chicken burger with chilli beef loaded fries. All excellent! We were able to make ammendments to the burgers to suit our tastes, which was great! The Beet the Pack is normally a vegetarian patty, but my partner fancied trying it with grilled chicken and wasn't disappointed. No pics as we were too hungry 😅. We will be back.

We visited The Round as they offer four vegan burgers which all sounded great. I ordered a courgey pike and my husband the beet burger, crinkle and sweet potato fries. As soon as your order is taken they bring clearly labelled bottles of two vegan mayos to the table with ketchup. Our burgers arrived with a vegan label on top and looked absolutely gorgeous. The burgers were awesome, loads of flavour, lovely bread bun and we left not a morsel. Service was spot on too and The Round should be on everyone's list to visit if you like burgers.

We had the Summit's Burn and the Pullvellyn which was one of the best burgers and just what we needed after being on the road for so long! Alongside the melted cheese sauce crinkle cut fries, it made the perfect lunch The atmosphere was lovely with great use of colours in the decoration.

We visited the round as a family on a mini break to Keswick. Options to eat out in Keswick are rather limited and are typically pubs or the odd Italian pizzeria. We thought we would try this place as it had good reviews. We knew that we would have to queue in the evening but that the queue would go down quickly. We arrived at 7pm but had to wait about 30 mins outside and then an hour inside. Overall the food was good, but a little overpriced for what it was. The wait was longer than we would have liked. I would still recommend it though, but be aware of the potential wait time.

Great burgers, really fast service, cheesy chips were amazing and so was the Mac and Cheese. Interesting burgers and the cocktails were really well made. Good relaxed atmosphere, it's in a great spot in town. Lives up to the hype. Runs on a first come first served basis, so there can be big queues at busy times in peak season, worth the wait though.

Without a doubt, the best burger and fries I have ever had. 10/10. Super crispy crinkle cut fries I could keep eating forever. A delicious juicy beef burger, super fresh and with the correct amount of pickles (loads), great selection of sauces and you have to get the kimchi slaw! I went for the refreshing ‘parachute’ lager/pilsner and the service is spot on, everyone super friendly. This is a must go when in the Lake District ❤️ I will be returning!
