Friday night for four people. A short wait, great food and drinks. Particularly enjoyed the Fully Loaded Nachos and the Fellstar Martini. We were served by Harriet, who provided amazing service throughout. She was attentive and noticed when we needed drinks etc. Our favourite eating place in Keswick.

Fabulous burgers. A must visit when you are in keswick.

Very busy ... be prepared to queue outside, saying that if your a group of 2 and at the back of the queue and only big groups in front of you they do get you in. Once in the staff are awesome and the food is equally great. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Overall a great experience..... We went twice on our 3 night stay !!!

This place is awesome along with the staff don’t let the queue put you of it’s worth the wait, we always go and have an amazing time. Keep up the good work guys stay awesome 😎

Wasn't sure about the queuing system, but it was a short wait before being seated at the bar, excellent drinks selection, not long after we were shown to our table. Burgers were really good with lots of options I had the Ruben and it was everything I expected and more the crinkle fries are a taste sensation. At no point did we feel rushed and the staff were all really friendly.

I never normally bother to write a review but after eating here I just had to!! Friendliest staff I have ever seen probably the nicest burger I have ever had the desert was also amazing. I was shocked by the speed of the service I have waited longer in takeaway’s before 100% recommend

We were recommended The Round and ended up coming three times during our holiday! I really liked that the staff were attentive, and the food was extremely good.

A little crowded but for good reason! The burger and loaded fries were amazing, however I was not a personal fan of the popcorn chicken and did not think they were worth the money. Overall a great experience, not priced too badly, and I would visit again!

What an amazing place to find after a great day exploring the lakes. Burgers were AMAZING, service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was fabulous. Really could not recommend this place enough.

Very good hamburger restaurant! Often a bit of a wait outside but it's quick! Very warm welcome and charming waiters! Delicious hamburgers as well as desserts (2 desserts only)

Over the food was great, just some small bits that let it down. The beef and chicken burgers are cooked perfectly and taste amazing. Fries are solid and the cheese sauce tastes great. However, Nachos were very dry and disappointing, cheese and bacon fries barely had any bacon, the bacon in the burger was also very chewy.

Amazing food and service- exactly what you need after a day of hiking. Often a line up out the door but with plenty of space upstairs and out back the wait is very quick. Hot and fresh burgers, perfectly juicy and with top notch toppings. The crinkle fries and delicious and always served with 3 types of sauces. Service great- especially Fern who was exceptionally friendly and organised. Definitely recommend.

Truly amazing, a family of 7. Ages from 2yrs, 5yrs and 13yrs old we all ate every bit of delicious food and drink. Brownie went down a treat too. The service was fabulous so friendly and great atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back from Yorkshire to taste the best burgers 🍔 we have eaten before. If only there was 6 stars 🌟

A restaurant specializing in burgers that has fried and grilled meat and chicken. There is no reservation, but there is demand. We waited for our table 15 minutes. The meat is very delicious and of great quality. The bread is soft and healthy Sweet potatoes 10/10 The salad is amazing 10/10 Nachos 10/10 Katsu Chicken Burger 10/10 Pickle or pickle 10/10 Summit Beef Burger 10/10 Repeats 👌🏻

Comment for my beloved Arabs We tried the chicken burger with katsu, pass it by And the nachos are terrible Sweet potatoes are delicious for those who love sweet potatoes The restaurant is delicious and their service is nice, but the downside is that the place is a little small and the kitchen gets hot at 9, so be sure to order beforehand.

Enjoyed the sister restaurant Fellpack many times. So happy to finally have tried The Round. Same fantastic service, great food and cocktail menu. All round 🫶

Definitely suggest going here if your a burger lover like me, All member of staff were very friendly and helpful, helped partner decide what to get with advice on flavours ect, Burger was cooked perfectly, the fries crispy and full over flavor, Definitely coming back next time I am in the lakes

Needed a quick place to stop for dinner driving back from Buttermere & so so thankful we found this little gem. I had the Pullvellyn which was a beef patty, pulled pork, Swiss cheese & BBQ sauce & my partner had the Pike O Pickle which was a beef patty smoked bacon, American cheese & house pickles (lots of them) Lily was out server & she was great, gave us a recommendation of heading to Castlehead for a walk. We would definitely return.

Burgers are delicious and so is the mac and cheese.

We called in here by chance thinking it was a micro bar, how wrong but how right. The food is simply delicious with possibly the best salad accompaniment I have ever had. Then when the bill arrived it seamed too cheap! The staff were fantastic, some people would say that they were a little slow with their service but we thought it was perfect! We are definitely going back next time we are in town.

The description says "hamburger restaurant", which it is, but this undersells it. The front of house was amusing and efficient, the food was delicious and the cocktails really good. We had window seats onto the square and spent way too long drinking way too many cocktails and enjoyed every minute.

Love this place! We went here for drinks while staying in Keswick. Lovely, vibrant atmosphere! Cocktails were so nice, especially the sharing board! Was fab to taste lots of different ones. Will definitely return on our next visit to the area 😊

I had an excellent meal here. There's lots of funky burger creations to choose from and it was delicious! They even had Gluten free buns which was a bonus for my bf! Deffo will come back

Firstly - Trip Advisor states The Round is not open on Sundays - it is. We didn't have a reservation but didn't have to wait long for a table but I'd recommend booking if possible as it was quite busy The Round had a great selection of burgers that seemed reasonably priced. We all ordered a burger with a side of fries. The dessert options were limited though but the kids enjoyed the brownie The service was efficient and friendly and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fairly relaxed eating experience in Keswick

If you’re visiting Keswick you HAVE to go here. We had a couple of burgers, fries and macaroni cheese and it was to die for. We also loved that we were able to bring our pooch with us. Definitely recommend!

Amazing burger and loaded fries.

Nice modern bar in the town centre with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The burgers are great with a broad choice of different toppings. Good selection of beers and cocktails. Would definitely visit again!

Terrible service, went in and enquired about a table for 8 and the waiter said come back in 25 minutes and we will be able to accommodate for you so we went back after 25 minutes and then they didn’t save us a table and didn’t seem bothered either! Really disappointed as we were really looking forward to burgers and cocktails and the staff were rude

Forgive the terrible photo but I had the High Reuben and it was actually unreal, we got in straight away even though it was mad busy and there was a small queue. Food was quick and service was good.

Fantastic burgers (Pike O'Pickle and Summits Burn with extra patty) and lager (Parachute Drop). Sat on the first floor with a lovely view over the Moot Hall. Hard to beat this place and would definitely recommend.

The chefs here are the stars of the show !!! Incredible burgers presented well even when the place is rammed !!! Which ot was on friday and Saturday when I visited but Saturday was extremely busy - the burgers are cooked to perfection and as I say the presentation doesn't slip. The portions are good aswel - the nachos feel on the steeper side but you do get a generous amount of jalapeños cheese and beef so it feels ok ! The service is... ok I don't want to be harsh on the FOH team as they are not bad. You are seated, asked for your meal choice, and asked if your food is ok, which is fine after all it isn't fine dining but the food is the winner here and the chefs are the stars Well done to the kitchen team for smashing out some amazing food

Came here as a treat after a long walk as it was recommended to me, and it did not disappoint! The staff are great and the food is brilliant , these guys really know what they are doing! Make sure you come here if you are in the area !

Great food choices and friendly staff !!

Most of our table ordered either vegan or vegetarian options and they were all OUTSTANDING. It was so amazing I forgot to take a photo. If you’re vegetarian it’s easy to pay a lot of money for mediocre burgers in the Lake District, but this place has the best burgers around Keswick hands down - veggie or not as it was our meat eating friend who recommended.

Visited The Round for dinner as they have a choice of four vegan burgers. It's reassuring when the waiter brought clearly labelled squeezy bottles of vegan mayo and chipotle mayo to the table..ordered a courgey pike and beet burger one with sweet potato fries and one crinkle fries. The burgers were delicious and fresh and came with a vegan flag on to identify them..Great service from Nacho at front of house...Would definitely revisit.

I really enjoyed food and drink here, they have fantastic, snazzy and tasty non-alcoholic drink options which are hard to find sometimes. I loved the strawberry and ginger smash. I know it's a big thing to have your burger in a bun but if like me you get full really easy they have an option to switch the bun for a salad, which honestly is delicious!! With the bhaji burger it's a treat I loved the overall aesthetic of the place with the maps on the ceilings, and the service were so lovely.

This place charges £12 for a burger and the beef patty is 5mm thick. The burger comes with the additional inputs like salad. The chips are an extra £4. If the patty was. Say 15-20mm thick, then yes… £12 is fine. Absolute rip off. The service is slow. Don’t bother coming here.

Super tasty burgers, great veggie options and service plus a lovely atmosphere. The outside area in the evening was perfect for our puppy. Would recommend the frozen cocktails! Thank you!

Incredible burgers, fries and their own sauces. The Garlic Mayo and Chipotle Mayo were both very good! Second time eating here now, and would say this is a must for anyone visiting Keswick or surrounding areas.

The cocktails, food, and service were all fabulous! The only reason I gave it four stars is because it’s on the pricey side.

Best burger in the lake District!

Absolutely loved it. Best burger in years and fries with Jalapeños and cheese yum!

Came with family for a birthday meal. Really enjoyed it. The staff were particularly attentive and it had a nice relaxed vibe. Burgers were well cooked. I had the chicken with salad option and again it was well coked and just a bit different. We will return again for sure.

I get that they don’t take bookings, but being asked to stand and stare at a wall for 40minutes while waiting for a table… I mean really? Offer us a table to sit at for drinks at least or take our number so we can come back? Terrible customer service. Shame

Can’t comment on the food, but the cocktails we had were lovely (pear Collins and a margarita), staff were friendly too and the atmosphere was nice. Worth a visit.

Best restaurant in Keswick. The burgers here are phenomenal and are all brilliantly named after some of the Wainwright fells. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, excellent value for money and a perfect spot for a pint and a burger after a nice walk!

One of the liveliest places in town, the line to get in was fairly long, but well worth rhe wait We were lucky, the next open table was on the heated porch in the back, but inside would have been okay too. Good menu, backed up by good food, good service, and very reasonable prices. A fun place for a relatively informal dinner, definitely better than the average pubs nearby.

Our family visited here for lunch after a walk around the lake and we loved this place. The food was really delicious and the staff and service was excellent. Next time we are in eswick will will be going back.

Delicious burger named the Pike o’Pickle plus beef chilli and sour cream fries meal. Was absolutely delicious the BEST burger meal in town!! Try it you won’t be disappointed!! Plus great service with a smile along with all the staff being very attentive.. if you like your burger 🍔 this is the place to come !!

Great food, most of the menu can be Gluten free and the staff were knowledgeable in explaining the methods used. Gluten free lager on tap as well! Had a really great meal served by really friendly staff, can't wait to go back.

We visited The Round on a wet Saturday in February, it’s a very busy place but we soon got a table and even better dogs are allowed too! We had the burgers and fries, and which were super tasty. We will definitely return next time we are in the area, and maybe try some more of the cocktails!

Great Burger spot in Keswick if you’re here on a short break or just for the day be sure to make this a go to spot. Seems like a local hotspot, que was out the door when we arrived so that’s a good sign, turn around is quick though and we were seated within 5 minutes or so. Burgers are great and the loaded fries are some of the cheesiest we’ve had, VERY good! Neck Oil on draft as well which is a plus for me! Service was good and didn’t take too long either. Definitely be back again on the next visit!

Great selection of burgers and cocktails. Lots of seating, but beware, it's very busy and very popular and there will be queues! (See picture) I had the Harissa Stickle (lamb burger) very juicy and great toppings. I paired it with the Mac and Cheese - a very large portion and the cheese was a little smokey - so so good! My friends had chips (again, very large portion) whilst we shared the nachos. So good! Service was pretty prompt and polite. Definitely come again. Great value!

Spent a week in Keswick and wanted to find a burger place for our last night. So glad we found The Round! Burgers and fries were amazing. 7 of us and we all had a different burger. Not one was a disappointment. Every flavor, every topping and every bite was delicious. Thankfully we were able to get seated as they don't take bookings, which can be a challenge for us as we have adults with special needs, but we got a table quickly and had a lovely time. Would highly recommend AAA+++!

Amazing!!! I understand you can often have to queue and I can completely see why! I was fortunate to get straight in, with a seat in the window. My little dog was made to feel very welcome, which was lovely. The burger was AMAZING!!!!!! So so good!!! And I was stuffed!!! Lovely cocktails too! Definitely recommend this place. Great, simple concept that they do really well!

Stunningly good burger joint with great beer and cocktails too. You can't book though, but turn around is pretty quick. At the pricier end of Keswick food, but all locally sourced, good quality ingredients cost money.

Really excellent burgers, great chips and amazing staff!

Very expensive. (Almost £70 for 3 burgers, 3 drinks and 3 chips). Chips do not come with the burgers, you have to buy them separately. Atmosphere was nice, sat upstairs overlooking the high street which was nice. Service good, but felt like we had to leave a tip because the server stood right next to us when paying by card. Food was lacking....Burgers tasted like they had no seasoning in them at all. Chips were alright. Cheese sauce was about the best thing about the whole meal. Was told about this place by people at work and when I seen the reviews I couldn't wait to try it! "Best burgers in Keswick" there can't be much competition then to be honest... Will sadly never visit again. Prefer my food with flavour.

Today, April 25, after trekking, I go to have lunch at the 2:00 p.m. type place and I find the unpleasant surprise that it is closed and opens at 4:00 p.m. You should be informed that there are tourists who have lunch from 1 to 2 p.m., their hamburgers may be very good but you should worry more about the customer's needs. Lack of commercial knowledge

We got lucky as there was no queue on the evening we walked past. Got a table straight away. First server didn't know what the guest ale was and foozled his answer rather than saying he didn't know and would find out. Second server was spot on. She offered a vegan roll when I asked for vegan cheese. Food cooked to order so a short wait. Table tops have games linked to The Round - a feat of summits. Burgers were delicious and hot. Tried crinkle and sweet potato fries - both good. Yummy homemade sauces, especially the garlic mayo.

Great food + great customer service

Exceptional burgers! You have to queue outside if busy to get a table but it's worth the wait. It's also dog friendly. This is the second time I have been and it didn't disappoint. Love the atmosphere and its connection to the Bob Graham Round (if you know, you know). Perfect place to eat after a long day in the hills.

I can see why there is always a line! We enjoyed our lunch so much, we came back later for dinner. The food is well-cooked, imaginative combinations and names, and the service is excellent. Would definitely go back for a casual meal.

Although the place didn’t take booking we had read the reviews and menu and took a chance. Got seared straight away in the Easter holidays at about 5:30. Atmospheres was fab and the menu had too many nice things to choose from I opted for the special without a bunch of, the salad was so tasty I felt sorry for anyone who had just gone with boring bread. My husband had the Ruben and my daughter had a side or Mac and cheese with chips (quite a huge portion for a side dish!!)
