It was fully booked, but we turned up hopeful for a last-minute table. A table was found, and we enjoyed a drink of pale ale and cashew nuts, which were possibly slightly over roasted! We enjoyed a fish and prawn curry and wild mushroom tagliatelle. The curry was outstanding, fragrant, a subtle blend of spices served with mini poppadoms. The tagliatelle equally recommended. I would go as far as saying the curry was exquisite. Service excellent. Atmosphere relaxed. A highly rated experience in an informal setting.

Amazing venue for food and cocktails! Service from Al the waiting staff was friendly and accommodating. They did their very best to seat us on a busy Saturday night with no reservation. The food was delicious, as well as the deserts…sublime! Cocktails are a must too. Not only this but they are dog friendly too. Definitely worth visiting for a meal or two!

Fantastic restaurant in Keswick. Very dog friendly. Beautiful well spaced interior, nice relaxed atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. We love it here and always have a meal here when we visit Keswick. Outstanding food, inventive and great combination of ingredients. Great for vegetarian and vegan options.

Varied menu, tasty food, good drinks, friendly staff, and dog friendly too. Booking online recommended - we were turned away when we tried to walk-in earlier in our stay.

My husband and I visited this place for dinner, Wow! What a find. The staff are fabulous, food is divine and there is tons of atmosphere. We brought our dog and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We will certainly be coming back and recommending to family and friends.

Distinctly average. Nice staff, bland boring food. Headed here chasing the best reviewed restaurant in Keswick, maybe everyone leaving 5 start rave reviews has done a huge day on the hill and are starving hungry or more unfortunately have never been to a decent restaurant. We had onion Bhaji and guacamole to start. Not sure if the bhaji had even met an onion, more like a deep fried cake, perhaps from Iceland. The guacamole was really bland and wouldn’t be out of place on the Tesco basics shelf. Mains were bratwurst hash and chicken tartiflette. The hash was a base of slightly burnt onions with toppings from a jars and some oven chips. The chicken could have easily come from a birdseye box with a bland bechamel. We opted for a liquid desert of espresso martini and another pint of wainwright as the guests beer was off. Distinctly average cocktail to round off a distinctly average meal. Probably more like a 3* joint however to help others bring catfished it get a 1. We will not be returning

Fantastic food, service and price! Great find in Keswick and it is also dog friendly. We had booked an evening table but some walk ins can also be accommodated. Don't be put off by the varied cuisines on offer - the chefs certainly know what they are doing! Make sure you leave room for dessert too 😋

We had an amazing time at the Fellpack. We were a large party of 14 people with dogs, celebrating a 50th Birthday and the staff could not have been more welcoming. Food was fantastic, service was outstanding and very friendly. We had the best time here and we couldn't recommend it more.

Last minute booking and made to feel like locals. Top quality food and even better cocktails. Loved the Fellpack 'manual' on the table, detailing the joint, the staff and the local area. Great added touch.

Can't speak highly enough of our experience here.The food was superb, service superb and a lovely place.If you are in Keswick well worth it.

Really great food here and a nice variety from Noodles to Pasta (and despite being completely different cuisines they were both gorgeous). Great desserts too and a great cocktail/wine/beer selection. The staff are really nice and very dog friendly! We managed to bag a walk in at the bar but I would recommend booking as it’s very busy and for good reason.

Damn, the pistachio bakewell slices are so perfect. I have to give them five stars. Recommended. Highly recommended.

We always go to Fellpack for a meal everytime we are at the Lakes. Never fails on their service, ambience, and most especially the food (they change their menu regularly). Can’t speak highly enough of this restaurant! We had the Keralan Fish Curry and Indonesian Lamb Rendang this time. Thanks, Team Fellpack! x

Superb pub / brunch / lunch place. Food top notch - big bowls of dhal and shakshuka, classic avocado on toast etc, home made salt beef. Good coffee. Great staff. Would definitely come back.

If you are in Keswick you have to visit The Fellpack. We popped in for coffee after a lovely walk in the park opposite with out two dogs. Even with the dogs in tow, we were made so welcome, we decided to return for dinner. By the way, the hot chocolate with cream is a stunner and my husband said the coffee was one of he best he had on our trip. For dinner we had spiced cashews and onion bhajis to start. The bhajis were excellent, soft on the inside and ultra crip on the outside. For mains we had Keralian Curry Fish and the Indonesian Lamb Redang. Both were really excellent and the lamb was melt in the mouth. A couple of glasses of really nice red wine and we were very happy campers. The bill was very reasonable and last but not least, the staff are an absolute joy, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Its relaxed, charming and just down right good!

Great evening last night 13 January 2025 in the Fellpack Rrestaurant. My 70th birthday. Excellent food, imaginative venue setting itself apart from much of what is offered in Keswick bars and restaurants, well informed and friendly staff members. Good VFM. Can thoroughly recommend. The atmosphere was cosy! Very friendly staff but the food was not good! It was nothing to complain about, as in not bad! But there was nothing special to pay that much money to it! I had to keep putting salt! It was bland!

Went for a friends birthday meal my first time there and did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and perfect service. We had a mixture of meals between our party and all were tasty and well presented. Had the Fishcake and was amazing. Would definitely go back again.

Converted to Sunday Roast. Really enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Fellpack, we have been a number of times however this was our first for a Sunday lunch and it was, as always, a great experience. Update January 2025 A further visit for breakfast after an early walk to Derwent

Really great place the fellpots were amazing. The pigs in blankets come highly recommended. Plus they have wainwright on tap which can never get less than 5 stars from me

The Fellpack never fails to impress, delicious food, fabulous service, relaxed atmosphere. In a town full of eateries of every kind the Fellpack really does stand out it’s a fabulous little restaurant with a unique innovative menu. A must when visiting Keswick.

Amazing food with very good vegan and vegetarian options, and not to mention the super friendly and nice staff, which makes all the difference. Will surely be back next time.

This is an amazing restaurant for coeliacs. Wide range of gluten-free options and knowledgeable helpful staff. The food is delicious, too. Highly recommend.

Everything is always spot on here, stopped by a few times when we've been on short breaks. The staff are always so warm and friendly, the food is always on point and the decor and music is always great. Always happy and always recommend the Fellpack, we'll be back soon. Definitely recommend the chilli and lamb rendang and chocolate brownie, which I didn't take photos of.

We had intended to reserve a table but only times that didnt suit were available online so we decided to try our luck anyway. Thankfully the staff were accomodating and found us space. There was a festive deal on: 2 courses for £24 or 3 for £26. We both had 3 courses of different dishes and the food was beautiful! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even with what seemed to be a full house. Thank you for a lovely last meal in Keswick.

We walked past this place and decided to stop in for lunch. They have quite a small lunch/brunch menu until 3pm. It's really nicely decorated inside and has a quirky, laid back vibe. There's a good selection of drinks including cocktails and beers. Everything we ate was delicious, the Reuben sandwich in particular was outstanding. Well worth a try.

Came here for lunch on Saturday. Nice place although the lunch menu was quite limited. We both ordered the chicken burger. Whilst waiting we saw one or two chicken burgers come out for other customers - they looked stacked and tall. Our then arrived and looked like they were made with 2 burger bun bases as they were flat on the top! Then another burger came out for a different table and again it had a proper bun top and bottom. Odd.... Saying that the food was nice. The fries were delicious and the burger was nice although it was a couple of goujon sized pieces inside and not a proper burger breast. Price was very reasonable it has to be said.

Situated on the edge of Keswick near the lake, but only 5 minutes from the town centre. Very welcoming and staff friendly and helpful. Varied menu with quirky food. The waiter was beyond accommodating when I wasn’t sure about the pickle on the hash and he arranged for the chef to put it as a side dish. Food of exceptional quality served in lovely surroundings. It was very busy and booking is recommended although walk ins were being accommodated. Had the orange ginger cake sweet, this topped off an extremely high quality evening. Premises dog friendly. Would highly recommend a visit.

We probably over ordered by having a starter each and a main as the Fellpots are large. We enjoyed the Bavarian Hash & the Chicken Tartiflette.

First time visit: Group booking. Second visit: Family dinner. Returning customer: Friends Breakfast We came for breakfast and were seated very promptly with plenty of surrounding space for a pram and highchair. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They brought out one friends meal first as she had to shoot off. They were very attentive with offering extra drinks and clearing away plates and cutlery around whoever had finished and was holding our 10 month old baby. Highly recommend and will be returning again.

Went to fellpack on the back of a recommendation. We were not disappointed- it was perfect. The staff were so helpful, & were happy to chat & inform us about the food despite being very busy. The food was amazingly presented and so different and not too pricey. I was particularly impressed by their ability to modify the food to gluten free. This was a welcome change, as with most places, the only gluten accommodation is the offer of gluten free bread. I am not surprised it is so busy & booked up. This is a real gem. We will definitely return when we are next in the lakes.

The food was excellent, we had the burrito bowl and the pork ramen, both very tasty. The service was great and nice and quick!

Wanted to leave a review following our recent visit, particularly to highlight the service from Vic & Bibi. We had misread the menu before arriving at Fellpack, not realising that the brunch menu had finished. We weren’t able to order anything from the main menu due to my wife’s allergies, but Vic & Bibi were so helpful and agreed to let us order from the breakfast menu. Both were extremely professional and friendly in how they dealt with us, and we thought that this should be recognised!

Very disappointed - had read the reviews so was expecting more. Had the burrito bowl - very dry and generally lacking in flavour. My partner never leaves food but he left 1/2 of this. Hummus was bland. £50 spent - hard to swallow - when you leave hungry.

Amazing menu with a great fusion of cultures. Went here twice and both meals were fantastic. Staff was great. Ambience was comfy and eclectic. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Ramen is soooo good. And if you can grab the seasonal brats, get them while you can!

Just returned home from a really nice 4 night stay at the Fell Pack house hotel in Keswick. Absolutely could not fault it, staff were so helpful and friendly, our room was excellent, breakfast was amazing and a great location being just 2/3 minute walk to Keswick main St. A little shelf or shower tray in the shower would have been nice for myself and the wife as we are elderly and had to put shampoo ect ect on the floor. 100% will stay again in the future. 31.10. 2024.

Lovely vibe. Dog friendly and great staff. Best brunch and do lots of great veggie and vegan food. Scrambled tofu is epic especially with the potato hash.

Super friendly helpful staff who put our order through urgently when we were tight for time before getting the train home. Food was excellent and love their spotify playlists too

My wife and I had the most delicious meal at Fellpack last night after a 30k hike with Pig, our Jack Russell. Such a great place - cool, stylish, really good people and exceptional food! In fact, it was our second visit in the same day (these guys do a fantastic breakfast, too). We both had Fish Curry Fellpot, washed down with a Lakeland G&T. Definitely recommend at least two visits.

Booked for a Tuesday evening post Alhambra Cinema Supper. Fabulous welcome at the door. What a lovely, concise menu, something for everyone. We shared the Mackerel Rillette starter and ordered Lamb Rendang and Fishcakes for our mains, wow!, really flavosome, well cooked and presented. Service was really attentive and friendly. Great draft local Craft Beer and a crisp Sauvignon. We just about managed to finish our shared Espresso Crime Brulée, which was strong and silky with a cracking crust of caramelised sugar. We'll be back.

Absolutely fantastic experience both in the quality of the food as well as the staff and ambience. Truly delicious food and catering incredibly well for dietary restrictions.

Honestly the best meal I’ve ever had

I was recommended Fellpack by a friend who lives in the area. Booked online which is recommended. They had a highchair as requested ready for us. Great food and great service very friendly. As normal in this part of the world also dog friendly. They also had kids menu they offered us which was perfect. I will definitely be back.

Incredible find! A real foodies paradise. I read the reviews and was hopeful about this place but I was still blown away - from arriving and getting the option of eating at the bar (I love this from lots of trips to the US but it's not a thing that British establishments do well - here it really was!) to the pairing recommendations it was a delight. I wanted something hearty but delicious and their 12 hour beef shin Ragu hit the spot. I had a chat with the knowledgeable bar staff who suggested a particular wine to pair and it was perfect! Another member of staff suggested dessert which was also excellent. All of them were friendly and happy to spend time to ensure I had a really enjoyable dinner. I've already recommended it as a must-do spot to several friends and family!

We got the fish curry which didn’t have much curry flavor, and the lamb Rendang which didn’t have much rendang spices.

This was an amazing place to visit. If you want good food, drink ,service and atmosphere in Keswick this is the place to go . I don't usually write reviews but,I thought the whole evening was great . Especially the lovely waitress,she was friendly , efficient and kind.

I so wanted to like this place following the online reviews. Certainly the atmosphere was welcoming. It had a busy-buzz feel to it. Our waitress was an absolute delight, a real credit to the place (unfortunately we didn't get her name!). However our wait for food was over 30 minutes from the time the order was taken. Was it worth the wait? Sadly no. The dishes were nice, but only that, nothing spectacular and portion sizes were distinctly average. (Chicken and waffles for my wife and lamb rendang for me). In conclusion, would we go here again? Regrettably no. Which is a pity as we were so looking forward to going here

Didn’t have a reservation but the staff were amazing and made us feel welcome whilst we waited for a table . Food was good and the choices we had were perfect but the staff were exceptional and very attentive A plus! We sat outside as it was very busy and the heater was very welcome ! Reservation made based on Tripadvisor reviews and Guest House host recommendation. This review is simple - food is amazing, service brilliant, restaurant modern and stylish and unbelievable value. If you want a 1st class dinner in Keswick you cant do better.

Based on the 5* reviews and recommendations, we booked a table during a recent visit to Keswick and weren’t disappointed. Everything was first class - food, wine selection and ambiance. We have no hesitation in recommending it but suggest booking as it gets very busy!

A Tuesday night towards the end of the school holiday we booked and popped out for beers and food in Keswick - we've been to the Fellpack before and it didn't disappoint portions are generous and tasty and beers and wine reasonably priced and well kept.

Lovely food and staff. I was expecting a restaurant but it's more like a pub with dogs, so not good if you're allergic to them.

We have come to the fellpack for dinner 3 times over 3 years and each time we have an amazing meal, great drinks, superb service and a brilliant start to our evening. The menu has been different on each occasion and we asked about it to be told it was created by the chef with assistance of the staff. Bring back the sticky beef cheeks with ginger and spices if you can those were amazing. I'm sure we will be back next year to enjoy ourselves again.

Sauvignon blanc with Mackerel & gooseberry was fab. However, the star of the show was the Ramen Pork with Bok Choy. Heat & flavour was sublime. They must have great chef/s here. Staff so pleasant. Must book beforehand. Maybe even physically turning up like we did. A real find in Keswick

Great spot in Keswick. Well worth a visit but you must book well in advance if you want to guarantee a good time to eat. Attentive waiters, great menu (not too extensive so you know it’s going to be good), good drink selection. You pay for what you get, and was worth every penny. Lovely asset to Keswick and we will be back!

What a lovely experience totally out of the blue. We were a group of friends out for the day in Keswick and decided to go for lunch. We stopped at one restaurant but it was full on the off chance we called in to the Fellpack and we were lucky to get a table. From then on best decision of the day. So a big thank you to Catherine and her colleagues for making our lunch special. Good food, good wine and beer and excellent service.

Went for dinner last week, it was a busy spot, but staff were very friendly and welcoming, happy to give suggestions or a bit more time if needed. Food was really good, some very creative mixes. Portions aren't massive, so plan for a couple of courses. Prices were reasonable, especially for a tourists hot-spot.

Simply can't fault the place after some research on Google maps. We were accommodated brilliantly by the staff there, especially Harry, and my Crisp BBQ chicken main was very nice. Such a relaxing location at that time of the evening as well. We will return again, I suspect, as they really went above to ensure there could be some slight amendments on our choice to accommodate a gluten-free and (mostly) keto diner.

This place was fantastic! We went twice during our 3 night stay simply because we had such a great experience the first night, both in terms of food as well as the friendly, beautiful staff. The first night was pouring rain and it was difficult to get a place anywhere. They were fully booked up and very transparent about their wait times and the process of who would get the tables first. We were willing to wait and are very very glad we did. The food selection was so interesting and incorporated Asian and western flavours and the resulting dishes were immaculate. We tried different things the second time around and it did not disappoint. The dessert was a particular highlight for me, especially the incredibly fudgy brownies and the rhubarb crème brûlée. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic I have been twice in the last week, wonderful selection of wines and impeccable food. cocktails as good as I have had pretty much anywhere, expertly made while we sat at the bar by the fabulous Katy such hospitality! many other places fail to deliver at twice the price!

It’s ok but not brilliant. Service was slow and food a bit bland and uninspiring. The rendang meat was tender but not sufficiently spicy. The kofta dish lacked taste. I would’ve given feedback at the restaurant but we weren’t asked if we’d enjoyed it. Feels like an impersonal place

Called in on a Sunday morning after a stopover in Keswick and was very impressed with the food. I had the Eggs Benedict with sriracha hollandaise and salt beef and it was genuinely fantastic. My colleague had the veggie fry up, which he also enjoyed, but he had to go on the hunt for his own salt and pepper and condiments as none were offered or on the table. It's a small point, but on the whole a very enjoyable brunch.

Visited as a table of 8 & is highly recommend. Staff were friendly & patient, and the food was delicious! Booking advised. Dog friendly. Large public car park at the rear.

The food was excellent and deserves more stars than I have given it BUT main course portions are too small and the glass of Primitivo I ordered was acidic and lacking bouquet as well as being £2.00 more expensive than a glass in another restaurant in Keswick where it was excellent

The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious, portions were very generous, and the staff were friendly. Can’t fault this restaurant!

First impressions were good. It is located in a lovely traditional stone building and has been decorated in a relaxed modern style. The staff were friendly and helpful from the start. Once seated they brought tap water to the table without having to be asked. The menu is not vast but has a diverse enough selection to suit all tastes. Vegans and vegetarians are well catered for. We kicked things off with some perfectly cooked onion Bhajis, that did not have a trace of grease, and a fresh, sweet, and vibrant Romesco dip that was served with homemade tortilla chips. We chose the falafel kofta which was served with baba ganoush. I particularly enjoyed the roasted hazelnuts that were scattered on top. The main base of the dish was the moreish giant couscous that had the perfect balance of spice and flavour. We chose the vegan hotdog for our other main dish. Filled with classic hotdog flavours and delicious skin-on fries on the side. Even the coleslaw was tasty. While the sweet options were very tempting, we decided to opt out of dessert as we had spotted an ice cream shop that stayed open late.

We booked to visit Fellpack on the second night of a three night stay and it was so good we booked for the last night too. What a great place we just loved everything about it, the place itself, the staff, the vibe and especially the food. As vegans there was a great choice and lucky for us on the second night the menu had changed slightly so we had a whole different menu. Dishes we had were spiced cashews, lemon and dill hummus with crostini, romesco dip and corn shards, onion bhaji, cauliflower risotto, spring vegetable gnocchi, burrito bowl and falafel kofta, sticky toffee pudding... absolutely cracking food..If only we lived nearer so just means we'll have to organise another trip to Keswick. Highly recommended.
