Food and wine were absolutely superb, well thought out menu. Very accommodating for a walk-in on a Saturday night, great service. Nice ambiance. Will definitely seek out this restaurant next time in Keswick

We (numbering 14) had our pre-Christmas social at Café Bar 26 last night (10 Dec) - and the whole experience was brilliant!! The seasonal main course was absolutely great - and the chocolate & orange cake was superb!! While the mulled wine was so good I had 2 glasses! Even the non-vegans amongst us were blown away. And the Café even managed to cope with 2 last-minute arrivals. So I'll definitely be voting for us to return for all future socials.

We have just stayed at this lovely place for 3 nights. The couple who own the inn are so lovely and welcoming. We had the BEST time. The room was lovely, so cosy and clean. The location is perfect, we visited the Windermere lakes, Buttermere lakes & lots of lovely pubs around the area. On our final night we had dinner at the restaurant which was AMAZING! Home made and 5 star. We then enjoyed a cosy evening with a sticky toffee pudding and a game of scrabble by the fire. A perfect weekend and a gorgeous stay. Thank you so much.

Bought a BLT and ham salad sandwich. The bacon in the BLT was hardly cooked, very fatty. Almost broke my tooth on something in the sandwich, must of been a stone in the salad. Very expensive for what you get. The brownie was good though. Would recommend going elsewhere

Great location near Keswick Launch - perfect for a walk round Derwentwater.Straightforward, solid, lunch. Perhaps a little more expensive than usual but it is The Lake District. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Since discovering this little gem we no longer visit the area without popping in. The chocolate twists are generously sized, nice and buttery, and the coffee is divine. The staff are more than happy to cater to all my awkward needs and questions with a smile - nothing is too much trouble!

Fast and efficient, friendly staff. Reasonable prices with lots of choice. Is a little dated and needs a touch up on fixtures and fittings. Wheelchair access ramp available if needed.

Can be busy but atmosphere is good with prices the same as other bars in Keswick. Staff could be friendlier but they do their job.

The restaurant was not full and there were several wait staff, but we were ignored. Honestly, the food was fine but after we were served, nothing. We had to stand up to get the bill. This was after we had been given a dessert menu, but nobody took our order. Indifferent service, bordering on incompetent.

We stopped by in the morning for a sausage, bacon and egg roll and mocha. We sat outside as it was a but tight indoors for more than a couple of people. The food was decent. A nice runny egg and tasty sausage and bacon. Well-filled as well. The mocha was ok. Not the best I've had but passable on a cold day to wash down the roll. Not a bad little place where I'd happily go again for the breakfast roll.

We had been recommended Bryson's by a friend so decided to give it a go. We came in early morning for a tea/coffee before we had a look around Keswick. while we were there we decided to come back for lunch. When we came back at lunch it was obviously busy but we managed to get a table. We did wait a while for our food but we were told that there was only one chef on so it was understandable. The food was delicious and presented well. Really good portions too. Would definitely recommend you go here. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

What a great find this diner is, full English breakfast for my partner, yummy waffles & pancakes for children. I had a smoothie which was amazing! Nice chilled atmosphere with good music. Staff were lovely and welcoming They also offer takeaway food & drinks aswell- fully recommended the jacket potatoes

Dropped in here Easter weekend evening for drinks ….partner was really ill after drinking Guinness here. Be. Cautious drinking here as don’t feel the beers and pipes etc are looked after properly. He was really ill from the Guiness here.

£11.38 for a burned bacon & egg sandwich in a flattened bap and an Americano coffee. Was really disappointed. I think that was member discounted.
