Lovely cafe set in Spring Wood beside a babbling stream. Nice place to sit quietly in the shade with a cuppa listen to the sound of the water.

What a gem, found this place on my walk from Keswick to Walla Crag. Staff very friendly and coffee was good. There are seats at the back and they even do take away.

Whilst staying in one of the Spring Farm Cottages, we popped into the Tea room on a couple of occasions, The Latte, was perhaps the best Ive ever tasted, Rhubarb Tea was also a winner. Nice selection of savories, and the cakes, well, to die for...mmm yummie but too much temptation if you are staying less than 30 yards away !!! Lovely location, sit inside or outside and right on the footpath up to Walla Crag. I have recently started the Sausage Roll test when visiting cafes, at this tea room Sausage rolls approx £1.40, that is over £3.60 cheaper than my recent review of another cafe near Windermere, so value for money here and of course, it tasted really nice. You have just passed the Sausage roll test :) PS, They also sell dog friendly ice cream, I tried it myself, delicious :)

Called in here after doing Walla Crag. Lovely little cafe and shop, gorgeous coffee and cake. Very welcoming and friendly staff. We had a laugh about the sign you see stating ' cafe 200yrds' its not Annies Pantry its a different cafe 🤭.

Stumbled across this cafe this morning, and fancied a bacon buttie to help me on my walk. Glad we stopped. Very friendly service and nice crispy bacon cooked to order. Apparently the shortbread was good too. Well worth a visit if you are passing.

Found this cafe near the end of a Keswick to Castlerigg loop walk - just in time to get a late lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food (panini and sandwich) freshly made to order. Pleasant outside space to sit and eat, or inside if you prefer. Can’t review the coffee as we just needed cold drinks.

We visited this tea room a couple of years ago for teas and ice cream. It is a very convenient location for a rest and treat after a walk to Walla Crag or similar. We would love to visit again but unfortunately the last couple of times it has been closed! Once last August and again today at 2.30. Lovely sunny day and half term for much of the country so quite a few walkers passing. Some clarification around opening times would be much appreciated, maybe on the website or even on the door of the cafe.

Chanced upon this place on our last walk of our weekend Lakes trip around Walla Crag. Peaceful setting next to the river with seating inside and out. Good choice of great tasting food which considering four of us turned up just has they had opened, was cooked and served extremely quickly, by very pleasant staff. Next time will try the Ice Cream as well

Stopped in after our walk around Ashness Bridge and Walla Crag. The Ice-cream is irresistible with a unique range of flavours to cleanse any pallet. Staff were lovely and friendly. If I do this route again, I will be stopping for something more substantial.

went to cafe after an event in keswick,as per the last reveiwer they didn,t have pickle so no cheese and pickle sandwich,a bit pricey for a basic sandwich, piece of cake and a brew,as it is due to the location its next to the path so i,m sure they will continue to do a good trade but i think they could try harder

Real disappointment. This should be a little gold mine. Called in for lunch, not a busy day. Two people serving who seemed rushed off their feet. Waited a long time to be served. Nothing seemed to be ready made. When I was finally served was asked if I just wanted something 'simple'. Not sure what that meant. Food was nice when it was made, but organisation was poor. Didn't know what they had in stock. Asked for a cheese pickle sandwich and was told there was no,pickle. Gem told they had found the pickle. No brown bread only brown rolls. Menu said sandwiches came with crisps and salad, but got neither. Asked for two teas and got two teas, but others got a pot of tea, was I supposed to ask for a pot? Sadly, will avoid in the future.

After walking down beside Brockle Beck we were fortunate to happen upon Annie's Pantry. Good, helpful staff combined with good snacks and coffee. Only down side is that it is only open seasonally, I am sure it would be even more welcome in the winter!

A cute little cafe situated just after the woods down the hill from the castlerigg stone circle. Was nice to find somewhere to sit down, but this place was very expensive. £2.50 for a slice of cake is somewhat extortionate in my opinion.

Visited Annie's pantry whilst at Keswick mountain festival, we had the all day breakfast which was really tasty and filling, they only use locally produced food and you can tell. Although it was a little pricey it was well worth it, you get what you pay for. Would definitely visit again next year. Oh, and the toilets were the best I have used in the Lake District soooo clean. Well done keep up the good work and don't change a thing.

Went for breakfast as camped in the field nearby. Thought the breakfast was expensive for what you paid for £8.20 for 2 thin rashers of bacon a small(smaller than average size) sausage black pudding beans tomato and a fried egg and a slice of toast. This doesn't include a drink which for a mug of tea was £1.90. So all in all for one breakfast it was £10.10!

Walked past it on way back from the stone circle and it was closed and hadnt been openfor a while, I suspect it has been a victim of the floods. Still has a bench outside which was useful for a rest.

Once again, Annie's Pantry saved the day. After a day's walk over the fells I had to return and have a coffee and a bite to eat before heading home. As usual, was met with a beautiful smile and a true Cumbrian welcome. The fresh coffee was brought out to me as I sat next to the relaxing stream . The lovely Homemade Lemon Drizzle cake went down a treat. Well done on such on such a lovely place to relax, good food and drinks. You deserve to go from strength to strength . I look forward to my next visit.

After a wonderful walk from Keswick over the disused trail track and over to Castle Crag and down again through a wonderful wood, just when we started gasping for a brew, more like dreaming of a brew this wonderful café appeared. The staff are very friendly and the pot of tea very nice at a good price.

Walk out of Keswick on the East side towards Spring wood, this is a good start or finish to many walks. At Spring Farm there is a reasonably new cafe in a converted farm building. We had two large slices of cake and two cups of tea. All very tasty. You can either sit in or outside. The sign on the door says 'dogs and muddy boots welcome'. If you walk the old railway line up to Stone Circle and back down to Rakefoot the Pantry is a welcome break before ending in Keswick. As a 'Pantry' and not a cafe, the tea could have been in a tea pot with a hot water pot on the side, just a thought.

We visit Keswick every year and always use the sandwich shop at least twice when we are there. The food is always great with plenty of fillings and wide variety of sandwich’s. The service is always great and the prices are really competitive. Overall highly recommended.
