The best restaurants in Hartlepool North East

The hotel is closed, locked up and deserted but the owner has kept our money, despite never intending to honour the booking. Don't book anything with them as you will lose your money and will have to find somewhere else to stay.

Our fav Indian restaurant, food, service and staff all superb. Always delighted when we visit from the north of Scotland. Only downside for us is the distance from the north of Scotland, otherwise we would eat here more often.

Pizza came cold still despite coming early. Was clearly left on side while waiting for donner meat and chips. Generally boring and greasy

I've been visiting this Costa for many years and I've never had a bad experience. The staff are really knowledgeable about their products and the loyalty card. They are friendly, and welcoming. Store is always clean, plenty of space to sit in and drink / eat. Great loyalty rewards too.

I attended a retirement meal last night at Sheesh Mahal with 43 people and it was amazing! The service from the staff and quality of food was fanatic from start to finish. Highly recommended

Parmos chicken was pink all the way through and had bits of red still in it absolutely disgusting!🤮 Didn’t even look like chicken more like pork or gammon.

This was a great place to stay to explore. Lovely rooms with high ceiling and spacious. The building itself is very grand as the name suggests. Would stay again for sure.
