Food was wrong took back and second food was dripping with grease,girl was polite but owns was miserable.

I travel all the way from York once a week just get food from this place. The staff are fantastic and the what I assume owner is hillarious to talk to while your food is cooking. Best food in the whole of the north

Waited nearly 2 and a half hours, tried phoning the shop but was "busy" and when I did get a ring they hung up. Got in touch through the app to be told 5-10 minutes away.....half an hour later got back in touch to cancel to be told 5-10 minutes away. Finally turned up with " I'm only the driver" rant. Never again will I be ordering from here again!!

Ordered at 9.05 pm,still didn't arrive at 10.15,rang to be told driver had tried to deliver and ring but no reply, so would redo order.11.15 still not arrived rang back to be told the driver had gone home and they were closing absolutely disgusting service.

Great food - freshly made wrap and everything… but £4 for a small chip and garlic wrap is a little bit crazy so rarely go.

Waited 2 hours for 2 parmo wraps. Clearly they milk cows for cheese or kill their own chickens before making them as the time they took to get here was an absolute joke. No salad in the wraps though, as it would be too hard to get the order completely right. Shame aswell because the food is stun

Last review was 4 stars Food was good but this rder sat waiting on a Thursday night 1 hour 55 hours live 8 mins by Google maps from the shop. Arguing with the man on the phone over 5 mins. A little sad really. Sorry can't comment on the food at 2 hous 15 mins have passed and still waiting. Customer services very very poor.

Absolute disgrace! Made an order for delivery, was told it would be “within the hour” waited 1hr 40 minutes, I rang back again to be told it’s going to be a further 20 minutes!! The same excuse, “we’ve been really busy” 3rd time this has happened! Will not be using marina pizza again!

Large Chicken wrap.... fantastic, Large Parmo wrap.....huge and so filling

Got a large mixed chicken kebab ( schwarma, tikka, tandoori) and a schwarma pizza. Was really looking forward to trying for the first time as I love schwarma, was sadly lacking unfortunately, chips were under cooked both tikka and tandoori tasted the same and were dry as sticks as was the 'schwarma' which was just flavoured chicken fillets. Luckily I ordered an extra garlic sauce as none came with the kebab and the salad was basic, no cabbage. The wrap that came with the kebab was beautiful though. Pizza was OK but nothing special, plus the schwarma had an overwhelming taste of cinnamon which did not go with pizza. Really disappointed won't be going back.

Placed an order at 1900 left it nearly 2 hours before I called to be told they tried calling with no missed calls and then send it out again apparently but yet again nothing shows up. Don't bother not the first time I've had to chase them up for deliveries, either forget or cba

Missing toppings off selected pizza twice now and when phoned to tell them was told the items aren't on their menu when they were. The girl was very rude and basically called me a liar. Terrible customer service. Avoid

Had this from Marina pizza. All was rock hard and over cooked and dry as sticks. The chips were stail as anything. Proper joke. The food took over 2 hours as well and we had rang to see where it was and told it's with the driver. Over 40 minutes later finally arrived

Food is nice most of the time but omg the delivery is absolutely awful I always end up waiting over 2.30 hours when phone up to ask where food is its with the driver 40 miniutes go by phone up again to be told its just leaving the restraunt, the wraps are amazing but delivery time is awful

32 pound for a dry meal stale chips

The worst takeaway i have ever had. 2 and a half hours late, the food was freezing cold. I tried to phone them and got no answer. The wrap was cold and soggy. The cheesy chips and garlic were both cold and rock-hard (which is strange considering they were covered in garlic and should be somewhat soggy), the chips were so bad then when i went to put my fork through the chips it smashed through the box (tasted and looked like they had been put back in the fryer 5 times). Complete joke. Will NEVER order from here again!!!

Heard great things about this takeaway on North East teatime grub. However, nearly 2 hours for food to be delivered. Therefore cold. Called them when food arrived to complain and after being hung up on twice mid conversation when i finally managed to speak to them was informed that hot food could be delivered in half an hour. Too late im afraid, send hot food the first time. Then i was thanked for my feedback. Such a shame food looked good and i ate some, but cold parmo aint the best. Same with the wifes chicken wrap. Will not order from them again. 17 quid wasted

Was supposed to take 1hour 1 1/2 hours later wrong order sent, when I phoned to complain they said they would they would sent a replacement meal…. But no thank you horrendous never going here again all ended on the bin 😡😡😡🤢🤢🤮

Absolutey beautiful food, the tandoori wrap is my favourite. Very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Staff are always super friendly and always go that extra mile to make customers happy. Very nice I had the parmo wrap was delicious. Very big wrap. Chips do come inside wrap which I found strange but I picked them out first then enjoyed the parmo in the wrap.

One of my favourite takeaways. The food is always great and fresh, the staff are friendly and for a little, out of way the place, they take alot of orders and deliveries because the food is that good. Personally I recommend the parmo in particular, one of the best I've ever had.

Popped here after local was closed, they seemed rushed off their feet, but wait for my food was not long. Pizza was excellent, soft dough well cooked and very tasty. Will probably travel here in the future instead if staying local Highly recommended

There a joke ask 4 salad and sauce got nothing

I ordered tonight there said within the hour I phoned a hour later there said 20 minutes I phoned back 30 minutes later there said 2 minutes still never came so 20 minutes later I phoned the mandy cancelled the order never again

Told within the hour after an hour was told 20 mins then was told ite out in van after almost 2 hours we cancelled our order hence this review Try elsewhere is my advice

It was okay if you've had a drink and need something on your stomach. Our parmo came in two parts which looked like two £1 supermarket pizzas & chewy too. I would order again if desperate.

My wrap was ok nothing special. The staff didn't seem very friendly I felt a bit ignored when I walked in. Not a nice feeling I don't think I'll be going back ☹

1st class service, great staff and amazing food

No covid prevention in place. No masks or gloves on staff while preparing food. Laughing and joking on, which causes heavy breathing in a small space. Not a good impression.

Probably the best in the town, does get busy on a Friday/Saturday night but even if it takes a bit longer to get your food it's definitely worth the wait.

Brother brought me here and loved the kebabs. Will come here when I have the chance as I live in Middlesbrough.

Amazing food here we get the mixed wraps and the chicken is bang on, not even left anything, we travel about 12 mile for this each way and its worth it 😋

Waited 1 20 mins for food frozen pitta bread stone cold

I would first like to write that I have eating at marina pizza over a few years period. I am absolutely disgusted in the hygiene these people are presenting. Me and my partner decided to collect a takeaway as we are unsure how long they will stay open so considered it as our ‘ last meal ‘ lol and there is a huge pandemic going on bare that in mind. We pulled up to the small shop with a large glass door to see a member of staff, a women behind the counter eating food using only her bare hands. She then licked her fingers, to then see a man bring her over what looked like the wrap I ordered, for her to then grab the salad with her hands, the kebab with her hands then spreader it out with her hands. she did not wash in between the process of her touching her mouth and then my food I am absolutely discussed and shocked. There was no tongs or gloves involved in the process! Vile ! there is a pandemic which has hit the uk and these people can not even keep hygiene standards! will never eat there and advice all people to not.

Have great staff and excellent food with large portions, the only downside to this is that it is only in hartlepool and is a rather large distance to travel for. So in my opinion they really should get much more local places to others

Wow well where do I start, me and a few comrades attended marina pizza, although we could not get a table this did not matter. We chose to eat in a marina blue corsa if you’ll pardon the pun, listening to some smooth jazz, three quarters of our quartet chose the donner wrap with chips and garlic within said wrap, let me tell you WHAT A TASTE SENSATION! The other quarter of our quartet went for the Teesside classic the Parmesan wrap, he said it was quite nice but needed more garlic, nonetheless an amazing experience and will be returning very soon. Best place to go for a parmo wrap, the wrap is made from a small pizza base, rolled and cooked when you order so VERY fresh. I do a 32 mile round trip and it is worth it every single time! Very clean kitchen, pleasant staff and always fast service even when it's really busy. Reasonably priced and they even have a couple of meal deals that are a bargain. If you are in or near the area its worth popping in for a bite

i have been here a few times now and sampled their Kebabs and Pizzas , the quality and value are excellant . The Kebab is served with fresh Flat bread (prepared in front of you ) and the Donna and Chicken meals are very tasty , the Shawarma Chicken pizza i got was one of the best pizza's i have ever tasted .

The only place to go for a Parmo Wrap. Quick service and a nice little hidden gem on the marina.

The food here is really good, but the delivery service is often diabolical and therefore the food isn't hot when it arrives - it's barely warm - so always collect it if you can. They obviously have too few delivery drivers (who are very pleasant I must say) to meet demand. Often they can't even let you know how long your food is going to take (I know this can only be at best approximate) but at least if you were informed it would take two hours instead of one you could choose to ring/go elsewhere. They need to stop taking orders until they can deliver good customer service or at least be honest about their overstretched situation when you ring. Even when they are really late they can't even offer you a small discount as an apology - even a 20% discount would be appreciated as a goodwill gesture. They'd rather take the whole barely warm order back to the shop than do this (hopefully not to reheat it for another customer). I won't be ordering again.

Why call sothing a topping if your going to put it on the bottom and make everything all greasy? Greasy chips, greasy pepperoni pizza and I'm not even sure it was pepperoni tasted like salami. After all the good comments thought it would be good if I could give a minus rating I would. Worsed pizza I've had up here in 10 months no joke! 👎👎👎👎

Just had a large mixed kebab and parmo, kebab cooked on the grill loads of big pices of chicken! An as crazy as it sounds the parmo tasted like chicken unlike a lot of places round here.. was really nice chips, salad was lovely and fresh. Defiantly best place around the town now

The parmo wraps are bloody gorgeous but please consider making a smaller option before i drown on cheese and lettuce. I want my gravestone to look intimidating not death by Teesside chicken goodness. Cheers xo

Yummy yum yum! Been here loads of times - it’s just a takeaway but the parmoes are about the best ever and I’m told by a family member the cheesy garlic breads are the best he’s had. Do a 20 mile round trip once a fortnight to go here.
