Charlies Chippy in Hartlepool

Ordered food via just eat last night and was extremely impressed with the super fast delivery. Food was very tasty too, and reasonably, competitively priced. Ordered an American beef burger with cheese added on - and chips. Then a mixed kebab which was served up in a pizza box. The only downside was the salad had practically half an onion in it! I like onions? But not that much! Other than that no issues and would order from again.

Exceptional presentation of dishes. A treat for the eyes and palate!

Decent takeaway food offering good food at a reasonable price

Heard good things so decided to order. Spent extra money for donner meat and garlic on a burger, and didn’t get either. Tried to ring up and got no answer about 5 times in a row. Food wasn’t very nice either, didn’t even get any cheese on a burger that was supposed to have some. Won’t be ordering again any time soon.

Food was lovely but the cans of pop had been dropped dented and fizzed all over

Although the food was nice, they did not deliver salad as was ordered, I could not get through to the restaurant to ask why. Therefore a little disappointed

The food is normally excellent from here but tonight’s order was the worst takeaway I’ve had. Pizza was soaked in grease, burnt and the cheese was like rubber. And for the chips, they came in a container that looked like two lids put together and the chips weren’t cooked properly. Very disappointed, wasn’t edible in the slightest.

Nice food, great value only thing that could comment on is the chilli is not spicy.

First time trying here so I was apprehensive but it was lovely. Hot fresh food and great value for money.

Parmos tasted awful and burnt wouldn’t recommend at all definitely a waste of money. Delivery driver was canny though

Salad was fresh, chicken was Luke warm, pitta was cold. Got a large chicken kebab… the medium ones must be tiny.

Lovley food nice soft pizza read hot chips. Wasn't a fan of the Donna meat other than that it was lovley

1st time ordering from here 10inch Box special absolutely lovely and full to brim. Cheeseburger was also lovely.as was the delivery lass. Would highly recommend.

£18.80 they charged me. Pepperoni pizzas are £5.80 So they charged me £13 for a Chicken kebab portion of wedges. literally got 15 small cube pieces of chicken. The salad was brown and also left the stalk of the cabbage in the tub. Minging

Best takeaway in the town! Always piping hot, fresh and the pizzas are 11/10! Not to mention the cheesy chips and garlic - UNBELIEVABLE.

More of chicken, meat and spice could have been added. Otherwise overall it was good.

Food order said delivery time of 19:10. Sat waiting until 20:10 before ringing the restaurant asking for an order update. Fella on phone said it’s been delivered. I said I’m sat here waiting for it still. Turns out delivery guy had left it on my door step. I didn’t hear a knock or a bell ring. Had to warm up a freezing cold pizza in microwave. Nice! Fella on phone was adamant that the delivery driver would of rang the bell. Had a total attitude. What a rubbish service.

They do the food how you ask for it, the pizzas are nice, and so is everything else on the menu , I would highly recommend them

Driver handed me the food yet it was supposed to be a contactless delivery. Chips under cooked chicken undercooked and tikka chicken tasted more like chicken vindaloo.

They were able to swap diet coke for pepsi max. Top notch!

Usually a great parmo but this one turned up in about 20 minutes and the chicken didn’t seem as cooked as it should be. One for the bin

Better quality kebab meat than most places, nice chilli, pizzas and fries.

Pizzas were all over done and no taste to them , Parmo hardly no beachmel sauce and was pink

The food we received was cold... The parmo wasn’t even chicken it felt chewy, after just one small bite I realised it was processed like really processed... Will not be ordering ever again. Totally ruined my night
