Pizza Hut in Hartlepool

As a stickler for good customer service this was amongst the best. Looked after by Shaun and Katie who were the friendliest and most helpful of people and made the visit (my first) a lovely experience. Will definitely be back. Well done!!!

Chris was our server, food was fresh hot and plentiful and nothing was too much for Chris, who was friendly and helpful throughout our lunchtime visit.

Lovely friendly staff, Chris for starting us off and checking in on us and the guy cooking the pizzas who serenaded us and asked for any requests (both with music and pizza!) Clean restaurant and fresh tasty food. Will be back! Especially for the bargain lunchtime buffet deal. Thanks again :)

This is the first time we’ve been for a number of years. Food is great and service fantastic. We were served by Veronika at the Hartlepool branch who was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

Really really busy with the kids half term the restaurant needs more staff as there was only 3 people on. Ellie was a star. Thank you

The place was a bit empty and the food was okay but our server CHRIS is the man!!!! Chris knows exactly what he’s doing whilst also being super friendly at the same time. Get that man a promotion

We ordered on just eat and unfortunately the driver didn’t turn up so we rang Pizza Hut and shane was an absolute god send to re make our order. We picked the food up and he threw some extra bits in as an apology even tho it wasn’t pizza huts fault. By the time I got back home the delivery driver come but I sent him on his was as the food took over an hour and will have been stone cold, As we knew what time the driver got our food. The food that was picked up from the restaurant tho was absolutely perfect, as it always is. I think Shane handled our problem professionally with kindness and consideration and resolved our food delay issue straight away so I thank him for helping us out on that matter. Shane deserves a raise Pizza Hut ! Make it happen. From two happy customers

Nice pizza and friendly staff, the lunch buffet was often quite low in choice as it took a while for new pizzas to come out (except a continuous flow of just cheese)

We ordered from Hartlepool tonight for collection order number 1724351,we were given an estimated time of 20.53 to 20.58,we got our order at 21.18 so 20 to 25 minutes late,is this good service I don't think so.If the restaurant is busy they should adjust the estimated time,even when I tracked my order on the app it still said the original time,in the time we were waiting 4 delivery drivers came in and left with food,are the restaurants told to prioritise these?? It took the shine off what was very good pizza

The service was amazing, guy recommended to download UNiDAYS and told us how to get a discount, also is quick with the service and reccomended pizza, they start the buffet the moment someone buys it and they have good pizza

I hadn't been to a Pizza hut since I was around 13 years old. So, going back to see how the restaurant had changed for a little date meal out was interesting.. We were promptly greeted by a server, and we asked for a table for two, They asked us for dietary allergies, which is always good to hear someone ask just in case. We sat in a lovely little booth and given two menus by a very polite young lady, if I remember correctly called Ellie. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to pay around £45 for two people for two small sides, two small deserts, and a 13-inch meat feast pizza. To be fair to them, though, it did taste really nice, and I accidently ordered the wrong pizza, and the lady, which was the manager for the night, re-fired a new pizza for us which really put us at ease. The restaurant itself just feels.. old, I guess, but sort've nostalgic at the same time, but I suppose it could do with a remodel. However, the customer service was the best me and my boyfriend have received from a bright and joyous bunch of employees. My heart goes out to all of you who work there, so thank you very much! Food: Overpriced but overall amazing quality Service: Absolutely amazing wouldn't change anything at all 100/100 Atmosphere: 90's feel but could do with some remodelling of maybe the drinks area and salad bar but overall quite nostalgic and relaxed.

We were welcomed in by Chris with a friendly face and made to feel welcome immediately. Everything was explained well by Chris and he helped me out with my Blue Light card. The food was gorgeous as always - fresh tasty salad, and a stuffed crust pizza to die for. Perfect end to a birthday night out at the cinema. I’d highly recommend to anyone - thanks Chris!

Myself and my partner came to Pizza Hut for the buffet during the week on our day off. We where greeted by Chris with a lovely smiley happy face. Chris was fantastic . He gave us the option on where we would like to sit which added that extra customer care. He also gave us recommendations on the menu and looked after us telling us how the ice cream was only 1p difference in the cost. He made sure everything on the menu was out on display and also asked if we required anything specific . Chris couldn’t do enough and went out his way to advise on where dips where etc. from an observation point of view we seen him making sure the full floor was kept clean and looked after his customers . A credit to Pizza Hut and would be happy to return on his meet and greet alone. Thank you Chris (lauren Tommys partner) Xx

Phill the manager was great. Our children are disabled and our youngest struggles in most places, we asked if we could have a quiet area. Phill straight away took us to a quiet corner which worked fantastically for our children. It was such a great experience and we will definitely do it again. I didnt know they did kids meals ie chicken and fries until we were shown the menu and was recommended by Phill. We ordered it for our youngest and it went down well. We were also asked straight away about any allergies which was great. So yeah, we will definitely be back :)

The Lad running front of house has the best attitude to customer service Iv seen or dealt with. Went out of his way to make sure everything was OK, very attentive but not over bearing..Felt very welcome and looked after. Out standing.

Cannot express enough that the service we received tonight from our waitress who I think was Ellie and the Manager. They went out their way to make sure we got the best deal and the food was amazing with loads to take home. Could not fault their customer service and would come again next time we are visiting from the south.

Ordered for collection using the Pizza Hut website. Very friendly and polite staff, in particular Katie. Helped us out when deciding on the different types of bases and got our order ready quite quickly. Pizzas were fresh and hot, fries were also very nice. Would definitely recommend as it is great value for money especially with the deals they have on.

We brought our Grandma for her birthday and everything was spot on. Food was quick and hot, atmosphere was lovely and chill and service was exceptional. Chris who looked after our table was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and even offered to get or grandma a refill for her tea. Come to hartlepool pizza hut was only 2 staff on as staff rang in sick but considering there was only 2 staff we was greeted very nice food was amazing and chill couldn't help us enough thank you for a fab visit food was amazing also. The greens

Never ever again! Where to start, first off they do not accept cash, that allow will stop me from ever going again, was then told we had to order online using a QR code, which is both inpersonal and dangerous with the amount of QR scams around, then two adult and one child 'buffet' came to £50, which is overpriced, but then they also had the audacity to change a mandatory tip of at least 5%, no option to select no tip. What exactly am I tipping for getting the drinks ourselves, ordering online ouselfs, getting our own food?? Sides such as chips are also extra for £20 per adults 'buffet' and £10 per child 'buffet' some sides should also be included. As above this will be the last time going, start taking cash again and remove the mandatory tip, tip is provide for a good service/ experience not to cover your employees wages, if the employees even get this.

The staff all just stand about doing nothing while you have to go on an app which doesn’t work very well, and attempt to order your food yourself. There’s literally no excuse for staff not taking orders when there’s only 2 groups seated in the entire restaurant. This poor service is probably why whenever I go past it’s mostly empty. Literally driving away customers with their laziness.

Would recommend this place.. ordered a peperfhoni pizza as iam vegan but they didnt have it on the menu .. the manager came over and reccomend different pizza for me .. he could not have been more accommodating.. thank you so much it was lovely.. the manager is a credit to pizza hut hartlepool

Great location next to cinema, great friendly service from staff, appeals to the children, good value childrens menu offered, ice cream factory - the ice cream is not great quality but the kids love it and the freedom to add everything they want to it. We took my daughter and her friends for her birthday last year and she wanted to go again this year - says it all.

Your prices are an absolute joke now and have been for a number of year's, only people with money to burn can afford to eat here. How do you justify charging £30 for a large pizza? Don't even try.... I'm no businessman but I'd be amazed if your still in business in 2 year's time.
