Pizza Hut in Hartlepool

Very happy helpful staff. Excellent greeting at the door which is hard to find in other establishments these days. Food is pricey but for what you get you feel full afterwards.

Come to hartlepool pizza hut was only 2 staff on as staff rang in sick but considering there was only 2 staff we was greeted very nice food was amazing and chill couldn't help us enough thank you for a fab visit food was amazing also. The greens

The staff all just stand about doing nothing while you have to go on an app which doesn’t work very well, and attempt to order your food yourself. There’s literally no excuse for staff not taking orders when there’s only 2 groups seated in the entire restaurant. This poor service is probably why whenever I go past it’s mostly empty. Literally driving away customers with their laziness.

Very nostalgic. Staff were super attentive but not overbearing. Food was fresh and hot and salad bar was really fresh too. Great atmosphere and obviously popular as the place was busy.

From start to finish all the staff were incredible, the manager has could charisma and overall is amazing and such a credit to the pizza hut franchise. Cannot thank him enough for organising the staff to sing happy birthday :)

Ordered online for takeaway easy to use website. Food was ready for collection at staywd time. Great service in store. Food was beautiful.

The decor was impeccable. The service was good, and employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, filled with flavour and amazing texture. I recommend this place before the cinema.

Visited today and spent £49 to feed 3 people. (2 adults 1 child). Salad bar had no pasta and no olives. For a Sunday it was very quiet so we were seated very quickly. We were told we had to scan a QR code on the table to order food. This took far too long, and I wasn't happy although the member of staff did say she would take our order manually if we experienced any problems. She came over twice and didn't take our order manually - however she was very pleasant. The food was very good. The kids meal deal is good value. Other than that won't be returning as its far too expensive for what you get and I prefer human to human service. *Often order a meal deal for one through just eat. Usually delivery is fast. But usually food is cold. Chips are always undercooked!

I know, in theory, its good to deliver good customer service, but don't overdo it. Manager went on about endless payment options which didn't even apply. Plates were left on table for 15-20 minutes after he disappeared.

We went to pizza hut after the visiting bingo. We were welcomed by the manager, he informed us that if we had compare the market insurance, we could have buy one get one free. We both had a stuffed crust pizza and an unlimited drink. The bill was just over £25. Can't complain at that. Great service

Me and my family went to Pizza Hut for a treat for my daughter when we got there we looked at the menu and I nearly had a heart attack when did pizza hut get so expensive £28 for share pizza 🍕 no wonder it was dead inside..

Pizza Hut’s buffet was very good. Chris asked what we wanted and kept it topped up. Also a lovely guy to chat to.

The quality of the pizza it is quite poor, lacking flavour, but I want to call out an exceptional food service, the waiter was very nice and polite. On top of the pizza you get a free salad from the salad bar, great initiative.

Really nice pizza and staff. The salad was ok but no pasta, the thing that let it down was the price £80 for 4 people and we had a 2 for 1 meerkat meal code, if not it would have been £115! For 3 pizzas, 1 lasagne and drinks. No starters just the complimentary salad. The place was empty… going bust soon I guess.

Great food, great atmosphere, quick order to meal speed what could go wrong. I really need to shout out the staff who were attentive l, funny and helped make anything awkward (mostly caused by mishearing) a great time and experience

Mobile ordering was really good and easy to use. Staff were lovely and the food, as always was delicious. Really enjoyable experience for the whole family.

Go here if you want very bland expensive pizza - I’ve had better freezer pizzas!

You know what you are getting and all as expected. Thanks to Phil for explaining the order by phone at table system, which worked as it should. Nice hot pizza and not a bad salad offering supported by unlimited fizzy drinks. Fair price for what we had.

Good quality, waiting time, staff friendliness, location and atmosphere! Myself and my partner have both not been to Pizza Hut since we were kids but due to the location of the Hartlepool restaurant (right next to the cinema) and us being hungry we decided to go in and; loved it! It was sad to see it not as busy as we remember but it was a Monday night, we also both work in a restaurant near Hartlepool and know how important customer feedback is so we would like it to be noted that we had a great time and will definitely be back!

I was the first customer and all staff were very welcoming and helpful, in particular San who went over and above to help me even when it got busier. Will back again because of my experience today 10/10

Great pizzas and excellent value (if two for one with meerkat meals) They are probably the best pizzas around, nice bread and good toppings. Free nachos, side salads. The server, Jessica was a credit, really efficient and friendly.

Absolutely received the best first class prompt service from the lovely helpful friendly Libby, what a credit to Pizza Hut, superb personality 🧑🏅 We hadn’t much of a clue what to order when we went to the take away counter but the patient smiley Libby helped us to decide which pizza, sides and pudding to choose. 🍕🍟 Great choice too, freshly oven baked pizza with loads of topping and deliciously flavoured fries, finished with cookie dough and ice cream …. stuffed to bust !! No hesitation in recommending, very pleased with our visit 🏆👍

Haven't had a sitty down pizza hut for a long time so we thought we'd try it out. Brilliant staff, couldn't fault them,very polite & professional. Got the food after a short wait but if I'm honest the food was tasteless. We also paid extra for the cheese bites on the pizza but as soon as you took a bite, it was if you let a tyre down, cheese very foamy & again tasteless. Very expensive also, 1 pizza,1 refillable drink,cold onion rings & bbq wings was nearly £50!! Yep....£50 - lesson learnt. ☹

All you can eat was ok however pizzas were slow to come out.

Visited half term with kids. Food was ok, service good. No blue light discount on any deals including kids so no point. Do not have vinegar which is ridiculous, due to cost. A kids friendly place that does not have vinegar for chips is crazy. Unfortunately, wont go back because of this

There was lots of choice which is good. The pizza and sides were very nice. The desserts were delicious.

We were visiting the area and came across Pizza Hut on google and decided on that and booked, we were not disappointed! We were greeted by Phil the manager, he took an interested in what we were doing there as he could tell we weren’t local because of our accents 😂.. we told him we were looking at the area as we are looking to move that way and he gave us advice and was really helpful. Great food and service. We’ll definitely be back!

Really bad service they want u to order ur food on a app and still expect a tip they don't ask u if u would like a drink they just walk around doing nothing never again I got up and walked out

My daughter and I often order favourite pizza from Hartlepool hut Unfortunately on Xmas eve we collected our regular meat feast pizza only to find it had wrong ingredients it wasn’t cooked properly and disgusting I called hut to return but they stated couldn’t help and gave me customer care details. Customer care have been rude not listened and would not reimburse the £30 order even when I evidenced order in bin. If I were you avoid Pizza Hut if things are wrong they don’t rectify their very expensive errors. Shocking and we or my family members/friends will now never return to this establishment

Called in to Pizza Hut for a meerkat meal after the cinema. Half price pizza makes this very good value, especially with free side salads, nachos etc. The pizzas (meat feast hot and hot/ spicy chicken) were excellent and we took a box home with the left overs The server, Libby, was excellent. Very friendly, attentive and polite but also enough gave us enough space and time and didn’t intrude on privacy. Really enjoyed it, will be back soon.

We visit this pizza hut regularly. The staff are always so helpful, friendly with excellent communication. The food is always spot on and I never find fault in any aspect of the restaurant. The toilets are always clean and tidy as is the ice cream and salad areas. We had Libby serve us this time and she was sweet and had a good sense of humour.

The dishes at this pizza hut are not cleaned properly. The fork i was given had pieces of food from someone elses mouth still on it as you can see.

Haven't been to Pizza Hut for years but today had an absolutely lovely experience. Had some lovely low calorie food (partner is diabetic) and a lovely chat to the lovely Chloe and her boss Chris. Haven't tried the flatbread before but I would highly recommend it. My partner said the lasagna was very very nice! On a female note: the toilets were so clean!!

Me and my girlfriend visited this pizza hut last night (04/09/2022) while we were away in Hartlepool for the night. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional manager, who was extremely polite and well mannered towards us. We got given a good table, so that wasn't too bad. It was an average meal experience because my girlfriends deep pan pizza had too much cheese on it and she had a bad stomach after. My girlfriend also went to the Unlimited Salad Bar as it was included, she got nachos and cucumbers. She tried a nacho and said it was too dry, so she refused to eat them. She then ate a cucumber which she said was way too dry and not fresh, which to be fair all the salad on the salad bar should've been freshly prepared and not left out too long. The entire meal was massively expensive as it all came upto 36 quid for 2 pizzas, 2 bottomless drinks and 2 sides. I had chicken bites for my side meal, which were extremely too dry and the chicken tasted weird aswell. We'd only come back here in the future because of how polite and professional the manager was towards me and my girlfriend. The other staff members were polite also.

I thought the garlic bread with cheese was amazing, the new recipe I soo much better. The big sharing deal was amazing for three of us. Perfect before a cinema trip. Staff were really friendly.

Buffet Bundle gives fresh, healthy and varied food at very reasonable price. Grandkids loved the unlimited ice cream and drinks offered - after they had woofed down a fair share of pizza and pastas.

Enjoyable meal long time I have been in pizza hut now you pay and order your meals on a app.you scan the barcode with your table no. And select your meal .easy to do still pricey for what it is but we will probably go back

There wasnt much pizza out when we went. Only pepperoni. Waited ages for something other than that to be served. Lovely fresh salad.

The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived. There was Phil the manager, Lisa, Shane and Niall. We had the buffet and we were looked after.

Second time within a week we’ve came to Pizza Hut, the staff remembered us and knew our dietary requirements with no questions asked. Chris and the team are exceptional and no request was an issue they served with a smile. Would highly recommend a visit here xxxxx

Was so impressed with the family friendly attitude of Phil and the restaurant staff, they made our little one feel so welcome and confident and it was a pleasure to see how kind and patient they were with all the kids and customers. Loved the ice cream factory being at a lower height so our 6 year old could choose and enjoy things herself. Great value for money family time and will definitely be back :)

Its been a few years since we had a Pizza Hut and so it was we went for pizza and a salad bar. The staff were particularly lovely, but sadly the food was really disappointing and quite tasteless. The salad bar was a shadow of what it used to be from memory, so in all didn't come up to expectations. Won't be returning but great staff worthy of particular mention.

Took the kids for family night everyone enjoyed… staff were amazing with the kids…. Food was lovely… service even better definitely will be visiting again

Not been for a while after a slightly dodgy experience last year but bit the bullet today and was pleasantly surprised. Great service (thanks Chris), hot fresh crispy pizza, well stocked fresh salad bar and spotlessly clean. Will be back

Came to Pizza Hut for a school rewards trip and the students absolutely loved it. The service was so good and friendly staff so much so the students went out of their way to tell Chris who was looking after us today.

Went to Pizza Hut the Lanyard hartlepool marina, around 6pm 10.05.22. What fantastic customer service we had all staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help with any query. Definitely would go back

we have been several times recently as it's rare to find places that do gluten free vegan options. The food is great, staff always friendly and helpful and a lovely sunny place to be. Using a meerkat code also gets us 2-4-1!

Stopped off for a quick lunch and I have to say it was probably the best pizza hut I have ever been in. Ellie was so helpful and made sure we knew how to use the ordering system, she was very polite! Chris provided a great experience without, great conversation and again so polite. Food was hot and quick but still good quality. We will definitely be returning to this pizza hut when we next come up from Bristol!

Was dry pizza, lack of sauce...honestly the Goodfellas pizzas from Asda and Tesco are better than this. Will go to Asda/Tesco next time. The chicken wings were alright. Truly disappointed...
