Domino's Pizza in Hartlepool

Hey I am just wondering when i come back down dominos do you accept cash

For the last 20 years the best pizza in town.

Not usual for me to write reviews but this was something shocking. Opened up two pizzas both looked barely cooked. Bland pizza throughout.

I visit here every other weekend with a special needs individual I support. There have been two staff on the till we've dealt with, an older gentleman who went out of his way to memorise my clients usual meal so they wouldn't need to order, something that delighted said client, or an individual who I assume is some sort of Domino's special forces operative based on the sheer number of award badges on his hat and who always manages to find a discount for one or both of us. The pizza is assembled and cooked fresh and has always been delicious as well as very fast. The desert stuff is nice, but wildly over priced however. I had to give the place three stars in atmosphere because while it is very clean and well kept, the table they had broke months ago and they cannot get the higher ups to pay to have it replaced.

Does exactly as you'd hope. Would've given 5 stars, but both times I've visited, I've not even been acknowledged until they were ready to give me my pizza. A simple "hello, I'll right with you" is enough. Despite that small niggle, pizza is very good and using the app you get great deals.

Pizza arrived so soon after order it was obviously precooked. Tasted awful. Husband threw up minutes after eating. Never again

Asked for a two for one deal, was told any size pizza. Asked for said pizzas and was not told price. After paying realised I had not been given 2 for 1 offer. Excuse given deals could not be combined. Criticism, was not told this, price was not explained before paying. Card scanner held in a way I could not see the price. Feel totally ripped off.

Always visit this when I'm in Hartlepool and am never disappointed. I order using the app and pick it up and am very pleased with their service and products.

Nice service and tasty pizzas. But they should also provide some tissues/wipes 😬

Missed part of my order went back to get it came back still part missing told driver forget it so a £20.43 order only received £16 of it rubbish driver was polite enough.......

Ordered a pizza it came raw, got a replacement 2 hours later that was burnt, made a complaint and was told you accepted it your stuck with it. Won't ever use these again.

Appalling service. Delivered burnt , inedible food. Said they would deliver another after being totally apathetic then didn’t deliver anything. Robbery too! Avoid!

Just keeps getting worse every time i go with less cheese so i have stopped now

Me and my partner have recently moved to hartlepool and we have placed 2 orders with domino's and we have been disappointed both times we ordered the first order we placed we found hair in our food and and our second order we ordered cookies which weren't cooked properly my partner rang up to complain and he told rather rudly that the staff can't make every cookie to the same standard which is a complete lie as my partner used to work for domino's for a while before we moved here and the staff don't make them they are delivered frozen and put through the oven I don't know why they felt the need to lie instead of amiting they made a mistake and resolve the issue maturly

Love these pizzas they are the best ive tasted but are really expensive if you want them after 5pm. Thats the only draw back otherwise best in town.

I'll be honest.. to me dominos is well better than any pizza hut out there .. pizza hut is a rip of and they're pizzas are jus okay .. dominos do tastier pizzas and there prices are reasonable too

Always enjoy pizza from here but only their deals are on.

Really enjoyed it the first time we went gave it a 5* but the second time there wasn't enough pizza sauce on it and it was slightly overcooked which resulted in a dry pizza

This has to be the worst dominos pizza ive ever known asked and paid for extra tom sauce came with hardly any sauce ..sent it back and got a worse pizza very dissapointed ....

My favourite takeaway by far! Always perfect quality, never late and there are always offers that make it more cost effective.

Got two pizzas last night with a 50% discount voucher, and was disapointed with what arrived. The was hardly any topping on both and what there was was near the centre. They both tasted ok for a plane pizza with no toppngs butI did order two meat based pizzas. I have had pizzas from other Dominos outlets and not been disapointed, I mean if you are paying £16 to £18 each you would expect the highest quality. Not happy.

Great pizza and good value for money.

Saw the guy using the till counting money and taking orders, then turned straight round and started flipping dough. Very poor standards. Pizza was hardly cooked either.

Food took over a hour to arrive and had two missing boxes. Had to ring and two hours later still waiting for food. Rest of family had there’s. The most expensive takeaway to order from and still can’t get the order correctly delivered. Shocking customer service when rang up. Ripped off over 15 quids worth of food

Called here as a last resort on Saturday night having walked out of an Indian restaurant due to poor service and hygiene standards. I don't ever use this chain due to extortionate prices however needs must! We were warmly welcomed and the man serving was suggesting the best offer for us. We settled on the 2 for 1 offer made our choice then popped to the pub for half an hour while it was made. On our return the pizzas were ready with plenty toppings and we sat in the shop to eat them. They were tasty but I'm still not convinced they are anything like value for money.

Went to this dominos for a takeout this weekend The staff were rude from the very beginning. Didnt get greeted at all and were talked over throughout the whole order. Wouldn’t let us use the discount card we had even though we explained we had used it the previous week. All we wanted was a vegetable supreme and a chocolate pizza, however the staff member put a family meal order through which i paid for without even being asked. We then had to wait 40 minutes and overheard the staff members talking out us and other customers. Absolutely shocked at the service we received will never go back here again.

Their food was absolutely topnotch! Garlic bread was perfection and they actually give extra cheese on the pizza ( which i ordered ) a lot of dominos places only put a very small amount on which is so disappointing to get! This place was great!

5 Stars for the Bishop Cuthbert branch. Always hot and very quick delivery.

Great deals on pizzas and sides

Used to use dominoes every other week but stopped couple xmas time.i discovered they use cheaper ingredients doug already made up yet they charge sky hight price how do they justify the the hight price for the cheap ingredients rip off. Not worth it.

Went in to purchase my Pizza. Delivery can be some times take way to long. Good fast service. Nuce talkative staff on counter (young lady).

I go here quite often and every time previously the food has been great but I went today and I don’t know if it was the time (around 1pm, Tuesday) but the pizza had way too much sauce to the point where we had to scrape it off, we paid extra for stuffed crust and could only taste loads of dough and the pizza tasted undercooked. Also the garlic bread was bad the first one (pictured) was greasy and the second was also covered in sauce both with garlic on only 1-2 slices. Disappointed but I’ll give it another go

Didn't provide my whole order, was promised a refund on my card within 5 days, and 10 days later no refund. Quality of food compared to Bishop is not comparable considering it is all 'Dominos'

Easy to order online and collect..ready for collecting when arrive at shop, nothing beats a dominoes pizza so we are happy to travel to collect. Nice friendly, helpful staff on shop. . We have tried others but Dominoes is the best. 5 stars around. 😀

We always order pizza from dominoes tend not to have any problems unfortunately this visit we waited over 40 mins for two pizza and when they did arrive unfortunately they were bairly warm. Like I say generally pretty good unfortunately not this time.

My son has broken a bone in his elbow. So we went for a pizza treat. After one of the pizzas was not ordered, I had to wait another to be cooked. We all make mistakes so it wasn't a problem. After 50 minutes I got my order. I paid 17.99 and if I got a fiver off then that would have been fine. Danny the tattooed manager started to explain that it would hAve been more expensive etc and was very rude. I got my money back but what a awful man. This was the new one, don't bother they're playing share the brain cell in there.

Sloppy not worth the money at all

Usually good but the last few times they have left out toppings or forgot to bring the dips, disappointing as we spend £20-£30 each time

We ordered and used the deal that was currently on offer. The pizza and side orders arrived very quickly. The food was hot and as we expected was very good quality. would recommend and use again.

I ordered 2 pizza i'm very disappointed because all the time i' m eating pizza from here but this time I even couldn't eat it because it was full of sauce you couldn't taste pizza just sous, so who want to order tonight 6 of July my advice don't order you are wasting your money!!!!

This place has just recently opened, first time we have tried Domino Pizza, my husband ordered the sizzling chicken with chip & dips, he enjoyed his meal chicken was lovely & crispy, the chips fresh & hot. I ordered a medium Thin crust/crispy pizza with red onion, pepperoni & mushrooms, major disappointment the base was like a biscuit (cream cracker) not much topping or cheese never been so disappointed with a take away pizza! the cost of the pizza was disgraceful in my opinion. I thought they had made a mistake & over charged us? When we looked at the menu my pizza cost nearly £15!!! It didn't even have more than £2 worth of topping on it! Such a huge disappointment needless to say first but last order from me.

Pedí una pizza y dos lados anoche tuve un bocado cada cosa era frío, así que llamé a quejarme y caballero, así que la cambiaría si se estaba intacto pero tomé un bocado de que dije que nunca tendrá una comida para llevar allí. Y así es como la pizza llegó no plana.

Been sat waiting for my desert that didnt arrive with the rest of the food for 1hr 20mins now. Guy who delivered the food said it would be with me in a couple of mins. Then when i rang 45mins later so see where it was they said theyd get it straight out and apologised. Another 35 mins on .... still waiting lol.

I ordered dips with my pizza, they didn't delivered and when I call they said after 20 min for what for a dip

Hemos ido a este dominos después de la gestión en Sunderland cambiado y la comida fue de mal en peor. Cuando la comida es buena, es buena, pero cuando es malo, es horrible. Nuestra última visita fue agradable, generoso coberturas y rico sabor.

Not very happy because I ordered chicken strippers along with my pizza (and other sides) and went to collect the order. Didn't realise until we had arrived back at home that the chicken strippers weren't there with the rest of the food, also the ice cream that you normally get with the cookies also wasn't there. So rang up politely and asked where they were and was told that ice cream doesn't come with the cookies which is always has for the past couple of years I've ordered from dominos and then they had the cheek to ask if we'd come and collect the chicken strippers after they were the ones to mess up the order!! So we asked for it to be delivered and no sign of it (as I'm writing this it's about 3 hours later), as everything was 50% off the money we've lost by not receiving these isn't an issue but on principle not happy at all with the fact they didn't arrive as I was looking forward to them as my family and I rarely order takeaways.

Ordered pizzas and picked up,the place isn't the cleanest the counter was dirty and the floor behind where pizzas were getting made was really bad there was tomato sauce all on the work surface put me off the pizzas when I saw were they had been made!!! Won't be rushing back this place need cleaning seriously and staff also there shoes where filthy

nice clean pizza place. on high street and lots of normal pizzas on offer, or you can do as we did and order it topping by topping. different bases to choose from. not the cheapest pizza ever, but loads of offers eg buy one, get one free, and also they take nhs cards for discount. Staff are friendly and helpful, and service is prompt and to order. now nice seats while you wait, since revamp.

always excellent food never any left overs . you no what u getting. the cookies are to die for .i must recommend them .i bit more expensive but u get what u pay for.

Went on friday payed 25 quid for 2 pizzas . Base of pizzas were rock hard very dissapointed wont be going back in a hurry

Ordered meal deal for the 1st time tonight as we have never had dominos before, and can honestly say we will be ordering again, pizza was nice, and the gooey cookies for afters were amazing!

I am a regular customer to this Domino's and I am always very happy with everything I've received...The odd thing can be improved like some of the potato wedges haven't been so soft but you can't tell until you taste it anyway. I still order them most times that I go because they're lovely! I love their garlic pizza bread, bar far my favourite thing actually but my friends order a variety of pizzas etc. They're always happy too! Also best to collect the food yourself as it is quicker but they're delivery is quite quick too :)

I have been using the Domino's Pizza service in Hartlepool for years (and probably more times than I should admit to) and it is without a doubt the best pizza shop in the town. On occasion I am steeped in the regret of a bargain pizza from the local takeaway which reminds me why I always come back to Domino's - consistency, great service, friendly drivers, fast delivery time, and most importantly - excellent pizza. 5/5 customer service and 11/10 for the Sizzler pizza (highly recommended).

Overpriced crap. Go to Pizza Hut or ANY pizza shop.
