Very jaded these days, not as good as it was previously.

Brewers Fare quick and easy and located in the beautiful Hartlepool Marina.

Staff very nice and friendly was a lovely place would really recommend it 😊

We tried this place it has some good reviews.but food was pricey for what we got. food was cold and bland.saff were friendly and welcoming.wont be coming back.

We came yesterday with the kids but decided to come out just me and the missus I ordered the mixed grill she got the haddock both superb and chef cooked the steak to perfection weldone as other places cook it as they want. Not this time was perfect also mention little blonde gal very helpfull and attentive she earned her little tip. Ps the good Looking lad from kitchen popped out with extra pepper corn sauce lovely man. Keep up the good work will defo be back when we next visit

Around a week ago my family descended on mass for a buffet breakfast as part of a weekend of gatherings linked to my Mum's 60th Birthday. Given that there was nineteen of us - this could have been a disaster - but due to the kind and warmhearted nature of the staff - both adults and children had a lovely morning. The staff could not do enough to help. Would definitely recommend 👌

Went over the marine for a walk with the weather being nice called in the old west quay sat outside in the sun tables disgusting cigarette ends all over one of them and drinks for one beer and a coke very expensive won't be going again

Good breakfast from 6.30am! Very consistent, nice coffee and the staff are friendly. Nice views over the Marina.

Went for tea last night after work with work mate (he said brewers Fayres are all right) On this occasion obviously not first problem pint of stella smelt like a dog dish and my pint of coke smelt the same came to conclusion that dish washer must need a clean or they been washing pots in marina! Then after deciding what to get for tea (15 mins) went to bar to order starter 1: spicy chicken wings 2: wanted cauliflower bites sorry don’t do them ( well take them off menu) ordered potato dippers very bland and tasteless 3: chicken goujons was the best bit of my tea Then went to order mains! 1 big stack burger and want cheese and onion pie meal once again (sorry don’t do that anymore take off the menu then) so 2 big stacks it is then coleslaw tasted mouldy and the rest was s—t wont be going again

Not sure what has happened but the last Sunday carvery I had wasn't so good

Late morning refreshment / snack, there were no sandwiches on menu but had tacos instead. Pleasant service, unremarkable experience. Dont leave food unattended outside - seagulls!

Went for breakfast, was lovely and good value for money

Well, it started with a very warm welcome from the staff who where very helpful and engaging. I ordered the Smothered Platter and upgraded to the larger steak, medium rare and it was cooked to perfection, I was going to eat elsewhere but due to the weather decided to eat here and I must admit I wasn't disappointed, many thanks to 'all' the staff, cheers.

Business stay at the Premier Inn which has the brewers fayre attached. Nice welcome, Paul is very good behind the bar and welcomed us like old friends. The food is OK after a long day at sea, everything you want for a bit to eat and a quick pint. Nice view over the marina, can't really fault it. Thanks👍

Breakfast was nice when staying in the premier inn next door, a nice selection and always seems to be fresh. The service is self serve however the staff during breakfast time were excellent and helpful. We ate dinner here one night and it was awful, the fish was dry and old (very disappointing for a seaside location) and it was served with skin on fries. This is a bit disappointing as I was hoping for a nice traditional Fish and Chips when on a harbour. We were offered bread and butter to which I can only assume the bread is the same bread that is out in the mornings as it was stale when given to us. When the servers brought my partners meal out, one of the two young ladies knocked her fork on the floor, the two servers then just stopped, stared at it, dumped the plates on the table and walked off without offering a new one or even picking up the one they dropped. I then had to go and grab one from another table. Simply rude as they clearly were aware of what they did and just didn’t care. Will not be coming again!

Sunday dinner service ended early with no notice to customers. Didn't have sufficient stock to make numerous cocktails and some wines not able to order either.

Such a lovely place, especially when the sun is out.

We had our daughter’s birthday party in the soft play here a few weeks ago, everything was perfect and ran smoothly. The two ladies that were working in the soft play area were great and very helpful.

Travelled from Washington to visit HMS Trincomalee with family. Great service from Amy. Really good cheese and bacon burger, it came exactly as I ordered it. Tasty fries, all inhaled in minutes. Would definitely recommend to others. Received a voucher for 33% off next visit.

Nice motorhome stopover next to marina. Can be a little noisy but ok....large motorhomes can take more than one space but watch you dont get boxed in by cars...leave numberplate registration at reception and its free.

A very nice restaurant, with good options for vegetarians and gluten free. A good outlook over part of the marina as well. The food was delicious, and served promptly by very polite staff. One minor gripe..the advertising board outside said 'two mains for £11.49'. This was not honoured, as it only applied to certain menu items. So although the food was worth the £22.28 we paid, maybe the marketing policy should be reviewed.

The food was well cooked and presented well. The organisation of the serving area was chaotic, people stood around waiting for toast and drinks in the area where diners were collecting from the servery.

Had booked a table. Was waiting to be seated at least 10 minutes. Was told by bar person someone would be out to deal with us when they could be bothered. Food average. Not a very welcoming feel at all.

Just been for breakfast this morning with my partener and 2 girls. We were served by a lovely lady called Amanda. We were chatting and she was telling me how she does breakfast shifts and works in the play area,which i will return again with my little girl. Exceptional customer service, very happy and friendly. She is an asset to your company. All the staff worked extremely hard,but all looked to be having a good shift, well done thanks again,will definitely be back again.

Just a coffee after park run, not overly busy, good coffee

Very disappointed that the owners are letting the hard working staff down as the place is in need of an overhaul. Photo shows wallpaper hanging off in dining area and carpet needs replacing.

We stayed for two nights at the Premier Inn & dined here for dinner, breakfast & drinks. The staff were very friendly/attentive nothing was not too much trouble & felt very welcome. We will definitely come back here with the hidden bonus of having a bonus card now.

Dined here for two nights. Food was good and the staff were polite, chatted with us in the evenings and at breakfast time. They were interested in where we came from. They gave a warm welcome and gave my daughter a free Easter egg.

Food and drink are what you would expect, the view is excellent and interesting.

Our order got really messed up but Deb did her very best to compensate. Food was good and we will be back

First time ever for us in Hartlepool and we called off for a meal here. Very reasonably priced and also as added bonus they give you 25% off for blue light customers. Win win. Meal was very tasty but cold, just wish it had been hotter than it was when it arrived .

Very friendly, helpful staff. In a delightful setting on the marina. Good prices on meals if you use bonus club card. More than happy dining here.

Ended up in here as I had a blister on my heel and the top of church street was too far to walk (been for a lovely meal down the marina). The drinks were shocking and it felt like I was in an episode of shameless. Go to a local restaurant or pub, there are plenty to choose from.

Staying at Premier Inn next door makes it a great stop. Location is fab with marina views but the staff make it a real plus. Martin and Anne were most welcoming. They really care about customers.

Had xmas menu. Was beautiful. Had trifle for pudding. Was amazing.

Went for a lunch with a friend to talk business. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was better than I expected from a chain pub. Standard pie but well cooked and got throughout with nice chips and gravy. Beer selection was limited even though they had hand pulls (empty) but as only stayed for one the Tetleys was adequate. Nice looking bar and eating areas with good character, not too busy considering it was the last weekday before Christmas. Nice venue on the near side of Hartlepool Marina, though that would be more important in summer as you could sit outside and admire the lovely views. Overall, very pleased with my visit and I would be more than happy to go again for a lunch or a pint.

Was there tonight for our Christmas party and would just like to say that the service food and staff were very helpful polite and food was hot and very delicious was there last year and will be back next year for our get together.

Lovely place, I come here often with my 1 year old son and other family members. The food is lovely, the service is always on point! Lovely staff, lovely calm atmosphere. Just sitting here at breakfast which was a joke and the worst Premier Inn breakfast I have had. Only eggs on offer at the buffet were rock hard poached ones and there were no staff about to ask for fresh ones. Hash browns were limp and soggy. Another thing that needs sorting is the fact there is only one coffee machine and one toaster which mean a long queue at both. This is not worth the £8.95 at all.

Outstanding service from Ginge behind the bar who made everything seem effortless despite working extremely hard. Her manner with customers was some do the best I've ever seen in the industry, she deserves all the plaudits she gets. Simply exceptional. Great to see someone do things really well consistently. Well done Ginge!

Went for Breakfast while staying at the hotel next door, great value with kids as they eat free with a full paying adult, try and find four all you can eat breakfasts with Drinks for £5 a head anywhere else. Staff were friendly and attentive, location is lovely with views of the marina from most tables. Food is great and plentiful. Can get busy especially at weekends.

Food was nice, fast service and a decent price overall

We stayed as a family in the Premier Inn and bought meal deals for adjoing Old West Quay. The meal deal included breakfast and dinner. The food was fine with adequate portions for 2 course dinner, the buffet breakfast has everything you need and of good quality. I have to say that all the staff at this establishment are excellent, they make you feel welcome and go out of their way to make your experience at the Old West Quay the best it could possibly be. Thanks to you all, for a fantastic experience and enhancing our stay.

I brought my daughter for a breakfast and as usual it was fab value, especially with the school holiday offer where kids eat free! All food was lovely and hot and the service provided by Ann, Deb and Collette exceptional! None of the food offerings are coated in butter so there are reasonable vegan and vegetarian options too

Whitbread would be proud of this well managed restaurant with attentive and proactive staff. Classic Brewers Fayre menu: no-one comes here on a diet. The staff are well trained at upwelling, seem to be in the right jobs here and curate a space that is totally on brand.

Really good value for money eat as much as you like would definitely be recommending to friends and family and will definitely be going back there again

My sister and I had our evening meal here. The Haddock and chips were excellent. My sister had the chicken pie. She said the pastry was lovely and crisp without being hard. I had the jam roly poly for afters only fault with it was the lack of jam. Hardly any in it, such a shame as apart from that it was excellent too.
