Legitimately the best chippie in Kingston. Their bugers are like Mcdonald's, but better. Great service too, and very friendly staff.

Gran escenario para este hermoso café. Fuimos a tomar café pero los pasteles y el quiche se veían tan bien que nos vimos tentados. Tanto la comida como las bebidas eran sabrosas y con buena relación calidad-precio. El personal, muy ocupado ya que era fin de semana de vacaciones bancarias, era amable y servicial y en la pelota para asegurar que las mesas estaban despejadas para nuevos clientes.

The service is absolutely terrible. They took our order without drinks (she said he will come back), we had to find her. Then she gave us the wrong drinks manu. We waited 1 hour and 10 mins before we received our food. I asked for medium rare steak and I got a well done instead but was so hungry I just managed it. My husband's cod and batter was filled with oil. I wouldn't recommend this place. It looks like a nice place but isn't. Avoid this place.

Second review: no changes from my first review. I enjoyed a very nicely prepared cappuccino. Well-done to a new barista. I arrived early in the morning so it was a quiet atmosphere..staff were friendly too.

We really loved this gem of a restaurant! Lovely atmosphere and great food. Our waiter Mario was fantastic and gave us excellent service. Sophia was very kind and helpful in suggesting a few cocktails options. We will be back!

We come to Richmond about once a year & found this restaurant on our last trip. Loved it so much we returned & it did not disappoint. We both had seafood pasta, mine was with a tomato based sauce with hint of chilli, & husband's was creamy. They were both superb. Accompanied by a lovely bottle of Italian white wine it went down a treat. We shared the passion fruit cheesecake for dessert as I remembered how large it was ! Overall a great meal out & very reasonable price.

We went often to "The Bistro", always with our little dog (westie) like to every pub or reataurant we go. Most of the times outside, but sometimes (at least two times) inside and the dog was not a problem. Today we were refused inside, because the rule would be "no dog inside", but this is a lie because we have been there with the dog under the table at previous occasions. We reminded them about the previous situations, but they confirmed, that their "rules" do not accept dogs inside. There are in fact arbirary rules, applied when they decide according to the client look or to their mood. This is not acceptable, and the so-called rule is not written anywhere to make the customers aware of this. We won't go to this place anymore.
