Beautiful afternoon tea and attentive service. Great value considering the quality of the food, free drink included (prosecco or mocktail) and we were even offered extra sandwiches. Would definitely come back here for tea and also to check out the restaurant proper.

Great view to the river. Only outside sitting. Better on a sunny day but they also have outdoor heaters. Finally, German Beers!!!! Nice chocolate. Good plates to accompany the beer.

It was such a delight to experience the festive afternoon tea here at The Petersham. The staff and service were excellent and were attentive, the atmosphere was great, I especially loved the magical Snow effect. It was nice to eat delicious food with a lovely view. I highly recommend!

Scammer, too pricey awful quality food diluted curry sauce. 16 pounds for a fish and chips. Asked for a regular fish and chips and he kept adding on extras making them sound as if they were free. Definitely Will not be going back

Everything was great, from welcome to end. Staff brilliant, afternoon tea great, cocktails good.

I celebrated a big birthday in the private dining room at the Dysart. Barny and his team went over and above in terms of thought, preparation and service on the night. We pre ordered from a great menu, which ensured the evening was very smooth. Both of my fish courses were excellent and all guests were delighted with their choices. It really was a very perfect celebration.

Second review: no changes from my first review. I enjoyed a very nicely prepared cappuccino. Well-done to a new barista. I arrived early in the morning so it was a quiet atmosphere..staff were friendly too.

We come to Richmond about once a year & found this restaurant on our last trip. Loved it so much we returned & it did not disappoint. We both had seafood pasta, mine was with a tomato based sauce with hint of chilli, & husband's was creamy. They were both superb. Accompanied by a lovely bottle of Italian white wine it went down a treat. We shared the passion fruit cheesecake for dessert as I remembered how large it was ! Overall a great meal out & very reasonable price.

This place will have my custom from now on. Customer service is nice and friendly, they have many German items, coffee is nice also. It was a male and a blonde lady working

We went often to "The Bistro", always with our little dog (westie) like to every pub or reataurant we go. Most of the times outside, but sometimes (at least two times) inside and the dog was not a problem. Today we were refused inside, because the rule would be "no dog inside", but this is a lie because we have been there with the dog under the table at previous occasions. We reminded them about the previous situations, but they confirmed, that their "rules" do not accept dogs inside. There are in fact arbirary rules, applied when they decide according to the client look or to their mood. This is not acceptable, and the so-called rule is not written anywhere to make the customers aware of this. We won't go to this place anymore.

Went here for St Valentine's Day. There was a special menu for the occasion. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a great evening.
