Great place to meet friends and enjoy a drink or cocktail. Ricky provided wonderful service and is very knowledgeable on gin and made recommendations on both the gin and the tonic to match. So delicious we went back for more! 144 On the Hill is very comfortable with a relaxed vibe, so definitely recommend.

Amazing I was having me and my best friend . We have winter wonderland dinner on the amazing terrace I see .🩵 Anna B she was so polite and kind Mario he prezent us the meniu and that it was amazing 🩵 Also Gerald he was always with us to make sure everything is ok . We loved the bar ambience and our server Nida was fantastic. Immediately she assessed our desires, guided us accordingly re: the menu, was so pleasant and we could tell was a smart and beautiful person. The setting was wonderful, the service was excellent and we were happy we found 144 On the Hill. We will definitely be back the next time in Richmond.

Could not recommend this restaurant/hotel highly enough. We took our little girl for the Halloween afternoon tea which was incredible! Such good value, the food was delicious and she even received a goody bag full of treats to take home as well. We sat in the lounge bar which was beautiful, relaxed yet very elegant. The fire was lit, which added to the cosy atmosphere. The staff could not have been nicer and could not have done enough for us, and especially for our little girl! Wanted to say a special thank you to Nida for all she did to make the occasion so special for us all. Such a lovely treat and we will definitely be back!

I came here for a special Birthday and I was overwhelmed with how special it was. The service was meticulous, kind, thoughtful - a masterclass in true hospitality. My daughter had the spooktacular children’s afternoon tea, which was a bargain at only £14 for a three tired tray of sandwiches, crudités and cake pop/ candy floss and other sweet treats as well as a generous trick or treat bag of sweets she was handed. The smoking pumpkin feature was an exciting detail. We all had a complimentary glass of champagne because we booked mid-week making this also an exceptional value tea. We overstayed our booking but they never mentioned it and far from hurrying us encouraged us to have more tea and complimentary sandwiches. I am already planning my daughter’s Birthday party there as they manage to cater so brilliantly to children as well as adults. Well done 144, you made it a very special afternoon for me!

Went for Afternoon tea - Halloween theme and I was very impressed. From the moment we entered we were made to feel very welcome. I went with 2 kids and 2 friends and we all enjoyed it. The Afternoon tea was fabulous with a choice of sweet or savoury and I was so impressed with the kids afternoon tea and the choice they had. I was worried about taking the children but they were provided drawing materials and Halloween goody bag until they spooktacular Afternoon tea arrived - the candy floss was a winner. We will definitely return to try the restaurant and work our way through the cocktail list.

We were very exhausted after taking a long walk through Richmond Park and happened to find a beautiful building along our way back to Richmond station. It seemed that they were almost having a short break time before dinner time, however, they accepted us to have some tea at a gorgeous lounge. Ricky recommended us some of their special blended tea and two different tastes of scones which were so special that we have to visit there again. We were completely refreshed with warm atmosphere and fantastic hospitality. It really was a wonderful tea time for us. Thank you !!!

I booked 144 On the Hill last minute as an option for having drinks following a meal elsewhere for my mums 70th birthday. Although the meal was lovely, I definitely wished I had booked 144 On The Hill to eat, as the ambience, restaurant, bar and staff were so welcoming. I cannot thank Roxanne and Ricky enough for their hospitality today. I had explained to Ricky that I had not been to the hotel for some years and he kindly showed me the restaurant, bar and menus, whilst Roxanne had given us a great spot in the lounge area. The drinks were divine and a really lovely touch was the delivery of a birthday message and dessert for my mum from Ricky. We will definitely be returning.

A wonderfully warm and cosy place. Nida, our host, was so welcoming and helpful and made the experience even nicer. Beautiful decor, a nice atmosphere, and a great selection of gins!

Had breakfast at the restaurant as part of my stay at the Richmond Hill Hotel, excellent breakfasts provided with a vast range of choices, also had afternoon and evening meals at both the restaurant and the bar; staff were very professional, knowledgeable and could not do enough to make the dining experience the best, it was obvious that staff worked well as a team, they were sensitive to possible food allergies/intolerances and were very attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant went above and beyond to meet any dietary preferences/requirements and the food was amazing/ delicious. Can highly recommend.

Excellent service - thanks a million Chris :) Lovely food and not over-priced at all. Right at the top of Richmond Hill so the view on the way up was gorgeous. For me, I just wished we weren't part of a buffet lunch for the hotel guests next door. I thought the views would be great and the dining room would be elegant but there was no view and we were two of about six people who weren't part of the local conference. It seemed a shame - if there was a way to allow private diners to be somewhere else? It would be perfect.

We are staying at Richmond Hill Hotel and don’t generally eat in the hotel - especially when there are so many excellent local options. How happy we are that we made an exception in this case. 144 On the Hill has an imaginative menu with something to please everyone. The food, drinks and vibe are perfect - it’s a calm, restful oasis that cements the end of a perfect day. The highlight of the experience was Nida our server - what a ray of sunshine! Totally authentic and lovely in every way! This is a restaurant that highlights the quality of the hotel.
