So excited to try Chef Vanessa's new menu on Wednesday with the opening of the new restaurant! She really has made a big difference at the Bingham.

Exceptional food. Every dish came with some innovative twist (not just a normal bread and butter, but marmite bread with sea weed butter). Relaxed and friendly service. Beautifully located.

Perfect I selected this restaurant via Michelin guide. They are no any Michelin star yet but I think here is absolutely take Michelin star in the near future. Because here is much better than many Michelin star restaurants especially in London.

Did the 5-course with wine pairings. The food and wine were good across the board. There were also nice surprises along the way that made it more than 5 courses. My only complaint: the wait staff and servers were unable to adequately describe the pairings or properly describe the dishes they were serving and the wine came out way ahead of each presentation. They are clearly going for a 5-star dining experience but it falls just a bit short. Pluses: the three chosen courses were all good and the wine served were a good complement.

Fantastic experience - everything was absolutely delicious!

Bingham Riverhouse offers a delightful dining experience in a great environment with cozy decorations. From the first bite to the last, every dish served was impressive. While the ingredients used may not be overly luxurious, the relatively humble price range reflects this. The presentation of each dish is beautifully executed to a very high standard, adding to the overall enjoyment. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit, offering a memorable culinary experience that combines great flavors, fine presentation, and a cozy atmosphere.

I enjoyed an evening of dining about a month ago, and I'm still talking about the food and ambiance. We had a fantastic dinner and drinks in the bar area after dinner. There are many options in the Richmond area, but Steven Edwards at Bingham Townhouse feels special. Wanted to go for my birthday last week but the bookings are weeks ahead so you have to make a plan. I am looking forward to spending many evenings here.

Second time at Steven Edwards, great food, service and setting-one of our favourite places to eat with a view of the river. Top marks to Steven, Lucas and the wonderful George! 💖

Tasting menu was extraordinary, this will be my restaurant of choice for special occasions from now on! Such delicious food and a beautiful setting on the river.

Great location overlooking the river. We had the 7 dish taster menu and it was all fantastic! The service was also perfect, real attention to detail and I can highly recommend the experience.

Beautiful food, a little to rich for my palette, but I’m a simple man with simple tastes. The service was immaculate and the sommelier was a foot above the rest, would recommend!

AVOID BUSY DINNER SERVICE I'd have given 1* for this review if it hadnt been for the 10pm curfew, which may have influenced the service. The restaurant was quite packed and busy when we arrived. When our drinks order was taken we asked to have the wine pairing and some cocktails. We were told they needed to check with the Sommelier about the wine. Our delicious cocktails slowly arrived, dinner service started and we had just about finished the aperitifs when we were informed the Sommelier would not be able to provide a wine pairing - some 30 mins after asking. We were given some flimsy excuse about this being due to us not preordering the wine, but it was clear the Sommelier was simply too busy to even speak to us. This was a massive shame and really did ruin the evening for me - particularly as the food was excellent. Very inventive and well executed menu! At this price point I'd expect the restaurant to be adequately staffed for the bookings they have taken (we booked hours beforehand). I have given some leeway in my rating in case covid regulations have thrown them, but reading older reviews i feel it may not necessarily be the case. I'd be willing to try again, but only on a quieter night post covid or on a lunch service.

Warm welcome, great service, extremely high quality dishes, fairly priced and amazing ambience'n'atmosphere. Also have live music some nights, when I went Ella Maria was singing - very well might I say and truly matched the restaurant theme and made the night very special. Will return in the new year.

Has changed significantly in the last couple of years & in my view not for the better. The bar has mostly been done away with and the acoustics in the main dining room are far worse than they once were, probably due to the removal of soft furnishings and curtains. Food is not as special as it once was but it is ok. For me it feels more like a brasserie than it did.

Lunch menu limited but the staff and quality of food amazing

I came to the Bingham as I'd heard great things about the place. I went with my girlfriend and parents, and I can safely say I was absolutely blown away by the place! The food was truly spectacular, the ambience was spot on, the whole place was magnificent. I spoke to my parents the following day and my dad honestly said he thinks that was the best food he's ever tasted!..And he's travelled a bit in the past. I personally will definitely be going back as the food was truly sublime. I really really loved my visit.

Amazing service, delicious food, and unique and cute concept/layout

Was ok, but do not accept Amex. For me always a sign that they are not quite serious about it. Consequently will not be back. We were a big group and at times they struggled a bit to keep up. Proof in the pudding about Amex, not quite willing to have the right amount of staff as required, not willing to take Amex. In my view all linked.

Great food and excellent service

Don’t go if not booked! They genuinely don’t care about their customers. Feels like this place survives because of its location, and maybe its name. For what they offer, the (lack of) service and the attitude - the prices are way over the top. We showed up without booking a table on a Friday evening. The welcome desk (Manned by two staff - hiding behind laptops, you’d think they have things under control...) assured us we’d have a table in half an hour, and suggested we’d sit down for a drink. So we did. Slow service, but a nice enough setting and drink to begin with. After 90 minutes however ... still no table, and we left - to eat in a place where they do care about their customers. After an hour into our wait, we asked what was going on - they clearly “forgot” we were waiting for a table. Instead of taking care of our wait - a lame “sorry” was all that came: it took even longer to order another drink, there was no suggestion of making it up to us, offering a snack or an idea of how long it would take for the table to eventually be available. Real shame.

Woeful Valentines Day service. After waiting an eternity for the agonisingly slow food service to come to an end, at 11:15pm we managed to pay and escape. But not before the waiter attempted to overcharge us by £75 by giving us the wrong bill. We were promised a follow-up call or email to compensate for the obvious issues the restaurant had on the night, but nothing eventuated. The food was tasty, but that fact was overshadowed by the terrible service. An unfortunate experience.

First visit since the refurbishment, nice decor. The menu was great & the food delicious. Staff weren't very engaging

Top location for a get together with lovely lounge spaces to drink and spacious dining areas for groups. Our set meal for Easter had haute cuisine twists on standard roast - lovely and well executed. Had everything we wanted, but don't get there too early when they're busy. Booking essential.

It's quite good in terms of location and ambience simply compliment it. Food is good. Worth visiting once.

Had Sunday lunch for a birthday celebration and loved it. Food is very delicious and beautifully presented. The river views make it a nice setting (and the fact the food is so good makes it even better, as in my experience are that restaurants with a view don’t have that good food). Service was fabulous. All in all a wonderful place, especially for a celebration.

We went to Bingham for dinner on a Thursday night. There was a choice of a six course tastings menu or the a la carte menu. We opted for the a la carte menu because everything on it looked good. As starters we choose the wood pigeon and the goat cheese tortellini both were exceptional. While we were waiting for the starters we were given cheese profiterol as an amuse bouche. The main courses were Hake with olive oil mash and pork cheek with gratin potatoes again, both tasted wonderful and the presentation was exceptional. We shareda white chocolate pana cotta for dessert. Pana cotta is my favourite dessert and it was the best one I've ever had (and I've had a lot). The dinning area is beautiful with panoramic views over the Thames and the service was first class. I highly recommend the Bingham.

The most wonderful, magical place and that's before you get to the bedroom! The rooms are perfect, everything possible has been thought of to make your stay exceptional. Super comfy beds, soft fluffy towels and luxury toiletries. The food is delicious, from breakfast to dinner. Staff are incredibly helpful and polite. Couldn't fault a single thing at the Bingham.

Very nice restaurant located just beside the Thames. Extraordinary quality of the foods with affordable price (three course dinner at £45, two course dinner at £37).

Fabulous Friday lunch with a friend. Got there early so we were lucky to get a table on the terrace outside. Wow what a view of the Thames - you could almost dip your toes in ! Food was incredible - fresher than fresh. We had the onglet and chilled pea soup with goats cheese to start and lamb dish and I had the raw asparagus and broad bean risotto. Had a similar one at Petersham nurseries recently but this one just pipped it to pole position. Couldn’t say no to dessert - rhubarb Eaton mess - why would you? Perfect lunch with great service and finished off listening to the saxophonist by Richmond bridge. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Excellent food. But if you select the 'Meal Deal' the portions are quite small. Service is Good, except for the 'Bearded' waiter who clearly wants to be elsewhere. Drinks in the bar are expensive. We will probably go again.

Beautiful location, excellent food, wonderful staff.

Fantastic food and service. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. Could not fault a single element of all the dishes. Sunday menu changes every week. What we had was for starter confit lamb with bulgur wheat and peas and tomatoes, for main guineafowl with onion puree and for dessert we had salted caramel profiteroles with ice cream.

Great cocktails. Almost as good as the service we received from Piertro. One of the best spots along the Thames to sit & enjoy a sunny day.
