Here's a review for the gastropub Brouge: "I had a really disappointing experience at Brouge. The chicken roast was so dry and seemed like it had been cooked hours before; it was nearly impossible to chew. The mussels were undercooked, and to make matters worse, as soon as the food arrived, flies started swarming around. Even the gnocchi from the children's menu was served cold, which made it inedible for my son. Overall, a very underwhelming dining experience."

Warm and friendly staff, great selection of drinks, including many different types of beer. Excellent food, especially the moules. A wee bit expensive, but the quality makes the price worthwhile.

Rude waitress, mussels were old and sauce has a weird smell, ended up getting food poisoning. This is not a gastro pub, just a average pub that microwave food and fool people. When I told them the disappointment, no actions were taken. Manager looks like he needs training to be a manager. Waste of time and money.

The Flemish Stew is probably the best stew I've had in a long time.

I am actually really surprised this place doesn’t have more stars. Came here for a lovely family lunch with a toddler and baby, the synopsis: - Staff were incredible with delicious beer options and tastings. - the curry muscles were so delicate and on point with their cooking and flavour. - catering for our needs as a family! Can’t fault this place and will be back!

Excellent evening, great place to eat and drink

All of the staff were lovely, especially the girl who served us, she was so sweet! The food was 10/10, will definitely be back!

Love the place I go there a lot ,food is excellent and reasonably priced ,they serve my favourite lager and I always look forward to going in there for a pint and eat ,staff are very accommodating and friendly and when time given between serves they actually have a conversation with you and other customers,you are made to feel at home

Good food and ambiance and service

The best mussels I've had locally! so good, we went back again and ordered the exact same thing the next week! recommend the double cream, and the seafood starter is lovely! Great beer options and responsible prices in general. Will return again. Note: dogs allowed in the bar, but nay the restaurant bit.

Nice pub. Rubbish nachos. Not worth the £14, esp when I asked for no crispy beef on top. You’d think they knock a quid off or summat.

An amazing lunch. The mussels were very good but the wild boar sausages were fantastic.

Top Sunday roast, not cheap but very good.

We had a 30th birthday party here last night and it was fantastic The venue was perfect (60 people) the food was great but what we can’t praise enough is the staff who could not have been more helpful and accommodating, nobody had to wait for a drink, anything we asked for before and during the party was sorted immediately. They were also all very friendly, polite and respectful. Would highly recommend this as a party venue

I went for a meal and the food was well presented, however, I got food poison. I had vomiting and diarrhoea one hour after the fish and chips. I went back to the manager two days later ( delay due to illness) and asked for some kind of refund and he said that he would investigate and get back to me. To date I have not heard from the manager. I would never eat the food in the gastropub again, as I feel I could get food poisoning again.

Good atmosphere, range of beers and food. Really busy tho, had to wait a while!

If you want a cozy pub and great mussels then this is the lace for you! A great selection of mussels with the different sauces for everyone & a great seafood selection all round

Excellent service and really good food. We'll be going back again soon. Early evening meal so it was a little quiet but did start to get busier later on.

Lovely venue, went with a friend for her 50th birthday lunch and was not disappointed. Food was delicious, we had the ribs and mo fish mains. Calamari and prawns starters. All brilliant and good size portions. Huge selection of Belgian beers. Service was outstanding. Very reasonable prices.

A good place to meet friends - can be busy weekend evenings so book ahead for dinner. Great selection of Belgian beers as well as some others that change regularly. Also family friendly.

Visited the Gastropub before but didn’t leave review. Over Christmas Eve and yes great pub / restaurant, staff are welcoming and friendly and nice atmosphere could variety of food selection. , parking 🅿️ is okay , limited spaces though, I would suggest for those who can stretch a walk 5-10 walk , the Local residents road are free to park or parking on main sixth cross road permitted until 6pm/6.30pm I believe could be wrong 🙃.

Good alround, some parts a bit expensive, good selection of food and beer.

Ordered the Flemish beef stew which was very bland. Staff friendly and attentive and there was a decent selection of beers on offer

We had Christmas lunch at Brouge Gastropub. They were well organized, were very kind and accommodating. Service was excellent and food was very good. Great value for money and very pleased. Looking forward to next time!

Food was nice but not amazing,,bit disappointed,however staff and atmosphere lovely

We came on Saturday. It was freezing outside. A warm welcome from the staff who were unfazed by our request to sit by the fire and brought extra logs. The waiter/barman recommended the Belgian stew with stoemp which certainly warmed us up even more and was very tasty. Left with a warm glow.

Lovely little pub amazing team friendly face all-round great experience

We kept passing this place wanting to go in for the mussels. We finally had a chance and they honestly weren’t the best. They tasted off and smelt off. The sauce itself was nice but something was weird with the mussels themselves. The funny thing is we told the Waitress and she just offered us more. Wouldn’t come back for mussels and food is a bit expensive for what it’s worth.

The brogue has a great atmosphere and a fantastic selection of beers and the servers maintain fantastic attention to detail. The food however, I believe was poor and frozen, including chips, onion rings and my personal rack of ribs, were defiantly vacuum packed and heated. This doesn’t represent the near £30 I paid for these. Other than that, a great pub

The Sunday roast was delicious. Every item on the plate was cooking to perfection, from the airy but moist Yorkshire pudding to the the succulent stuffing and nut roast and the deliciously flavoured red cabbage. I believe the meat was good too but as I had the veggie roast, I'm taking someone's word for it! All served efficiently by staff with big smiles. Thanks to all whose contribution made our overall experience memorable! We will return...

Have been twice now. Highly likely to go again. Good quality food, but not quite five star, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, that's just me. Very friendly. Comfortable surroundings. Great for a pub lunch with a slight twist. Great for families too.

My recent dining at Brouge Gastropub was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, it was a culinary delight. The food was delicious. I had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection - tender,juicy and bursting with flavour. The cocktails were also wonderful. The staff was helpful and attentive, making sure our dining experience was top-notch. The desserts were superb and nicely served. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely Belgium pub and the mussels and fries were great! Tasty, generous portion size and a good variety of choice on the menu. Staff were lovely and hospitable too.

Food is absolutely fantastic! Best roast I’ve had out! Portion sizes are huge as well. service was a little slow to clear the table and take orders etc but staff were pleasant and friendly.

There is not very good service. Even after 15 minutes of waiting, nobody showed up. The price tags are also not that great.

It was a hot day, and wanting to avoid sun we chose to sit inside, BUT beware this is not an air conditioned venue and the one ceiling fan remained turned off during our 3 hour stay Food and service was good however

Visiting from Australia, nice selection of beers, food was great on a bit of a miserable night. Staff were very pleasant and professional. If I am here again will definitely return.👍

We went for the seafood platter which wasn't available on the lunchtime menu (Sunday) it was advertised on the website though Not available until after 6pm Every roast dinner came with garlic and rosemary potatoes The moules frites advertised both had garlic in The option I liked was again not available until after 6pm All of the options on the Sunday menu had garlic in which I don't like Too much garlic in my opinion

Well done Brouge team - you get better year on year. This is the place I always feel home, and have splendid food and drink. The beer selection, both foreign and local, has no parallels. And the cocktails! wow, that’s art. Well done !

Food was not great. Sea food dishes were not fresh. The smell coming from neighbouring tables eating mussels was disgusting. I had ordered the sea bream so i was hoping my dish would not be smelling like that. It wasnt as bad but you could tell it was not fresh. Service overall was good.

Expensive but it was worth it wonderful selection of beers, pims was amazing 👏 lots of fruit mint cucumber staff wonderful lovely decor atmosphere is lovely the food was to die for first time here definitely come back and I was here for my birthday.

Good food but less variety for Vegetarians

Super food but extremely busy due to Father's Day. Cramped table for 5 people which should only have been for 4 and mixed messages regarding menus but food was super and service civil for all the queries we put to them. Will use it again.

Was a nice atmosphere, sat out in the beer garden. The staff are lovely and friendly and service is quite speedy. The food was fair value for money. Nice selection of drinks. Went on a Sunday and sadly the main menu was a bit more limited for Sunday roasts. It is a lovely pub with a great vibe. Ideal to meet up with people and enjoy some drinks.

Popped in for a couple of drinks with my wife as it's not far from where we live and I love Belgian beer. We were greeted at the bar by friendly staff and took our drinks outside in the garden where there was a good atmosphere and plenty of seating. Everyone was in good spirits and we felt very welcome. I had a bottle of Orval Belgian beer which I've had before and my wife had a Grey goose vodka. We enjoyed our drinks so much that we ordered the same again. Unfortunately, the heavens opened shortly after we got our drinks and had to duck under a parasol on another table.. If we hadn't already made dinner plans, we would've definitely ordered food. We look forward to returning to Brouges very soon for food and drink.

Great range of beers and some tasty draught ciders..! Food was amazing and they are known for their seafood muscle dishes, best in West London!! Good service too and the manager there is always extremely courteous to customer requests.

Hi guys! I really recommend this restaurant,but it would be better if u have 1 to 2 hours to wait. If u have more time, do come pls because it is long enough to have a jolly,long nap. And if u ask for a bit quicker it will say “We just started making it.” Though the desert is wonderful,if u ask again when will it be done they will say “It’ll take 45 minutes.” Thank you for reading.

Lovely pub with great selection of beverages and good quality ingredients cooked with love. This is one of the few remaining 'muscle' specialists left in the area, so if you love seafood and quality meats, definitely put Brouge on your map. The staff are friendly and whilst I visited on a rainy day, there is a large outdoor seating area which is probably quite lively in the summer.

We had our wedding reception here and, what can I say… Miri and his team have been nothing short of amazing. From the moment we made the enquiry, to the actual day itself, Miri made sure that nothing was too much trouble – all of our needs were accommodated, and our guests have all commented on how wonderful the food was. Every single aspect of our time was perfect. Not just that, Miri and the team are the sweetest people you would ever wish to meet. If you’re getting married, having a birthday, or want to put on a special event, you cannot go wrong with Brouge. Plus, it is the best value venue for many miles around. Nice friendly place , with smiling and accommodating staff . Unfortunately this time . The food did not match our usual experience. our burger buns were dry and dense . This ruined the burger experience. Also we had a 20% off voucher . This again was not applied 😞

I like this place. The menu is appealing with the obligatory mussels and fries and the Sunday roast substantial. A fair selection of Belgian beers plus I discovered a new Trappist beer that is now my favourite. I suggest that you book a table first as it's a popular venue.

Super food and clearly very popular but actually it was the staff who added the toppings to our Sunday lunch experience. Nothing was too much trouble, including cooking something that wasn't even on the menu to keep one of my party happy. Really excellent experience.

Attended after a funeral. Did not therefore interact with staff but we were well looked after.
