An American chain which has adapted to the british locale and palette commendably well. Excellent chicken sandwich and cajun fries; fried chicken was juicy, batter a hint dry but very good. Only real complaint is the sauce portions. £1.75 for a small pot (insufficient for a meal) is a little ridiculous.

Lovely chicken, tasted fantastic and the batter on the outside was amazing! Chips were nice and milkshake was quite large.

Saw this place in passing some months ago and just had to try it and today I finally got the chance. Was a bit lost as to the menu so chickened ouy and just got a standard chicken sandwich meal. I was not disappointed by the lovely crispy fries and chicken. Using the self sevice points to order my food was at my table in a matter of minutes. The restaurant is still very new and clean, which made visiting the toilets a dissapointment. There are just two cubicles, the assessible one only assessible after a sharp right turn from an entry way. The other cubicle is shared by everyone else, and given the way the space is used and the sheer size of the dining area I can see queues building up and the toilets becoming foul very quickly. I know some businesses see toilets as a liability and as non revenue generating and will therefore try to get away with the bare minimum, but given the size of the dining area and the number of customers they hope to serve this is in my opinion short sighted. This is disappointing as all the staff I interacted with were eager to please and help.

Absolute amaaaazing!!! I walked in and was greeted by an amazing worker who I asked if the food was halal and showed me the certification. Once I got my food they asked if it was all good ans kept checking in on my and my family. Amazing service! DEFINITELY COMING BACK🤩🤩🤩

Previously gave 5 stars, but service on the last 2 occasions is terrible. Order table service, but won't bring to table. When you mention this to the ppl on the till, they completely ignore you! Ignorant and rude staff. Not sure if new management, but really gone downhill

Its not Popeyes, the biscuits are not like in America they are rock hard scones. The sauces are not the same as Popeyes they have the same name but they are not the same... i wouldnt call it Popeyes which we were hoping to have ... but the chicken was good, the fries were good .. but sadly not Popeyes... like a better version KFC

I thought I'd see how this compared to the one I went to in the states, which was a bit pants tbh. The richmond store was AMAZING. Chicken was succulent, coating was crispy, place was clean and staff lovley. 1000 times better than the one I went to in Louisiana

After a few drinks it's an alternative to a kebab or a nandos although it was clean and friendly

As an American export goes this is good. Much better than the UK version of taco bell. The reason I've not given it the 5th star is unlike in the US you can't choose the white or brown meat. Having said that the food was really tasty and came out fresh. The Cajun fries were a nice touch. Unfortunately as our food came (table service, nice touch). My baby decided it wanted to be changed and fed so didn't actually get to eat anything other than the chips as we were on a tight schedule and needed to catch a train. They kindly gave us take out bags and we headed home, where I split meal with my wife and added some Mac and cheese, but even being reheated it still tastes great. Far better than KFC (even my wife admitted that and she like KFC). The buffalo sauce you can get and the Louisiana hit sauce were both hot and went well with the chicken. The restaurant was also very clean, the concierge at the front door was a nice touch as well. The only challenge with the restaurant was there was an issue with the bathrooms, so only the disabled was available, which did cause a bit of a queue to use it. Which wasn't helped by people using the toilet who weren't customers.

Went into popeyes and sravanthi was very nice and accomodating.

Really disappointed in this place. We drove half hour to try it. The food was lacking in flavour. Chicken was crispy, but tasted bland. The fries tasted like they were cheap Asda own brand fries. Gravy wasn’t very tasty. Only reason I give it two stars is because it was clean & the staff were semi friendly & helpful. However our experience was interrupted half way through eating by a staff member coming to our table with a crusty piece of paper asking us to scan and leave a review. Literally whilst we were eating. I told her I would do it later. Looked around & seen she interrupted other customers whilst eating their food. I feel this was unnecessary & rude! We’re eating!

Came to Popeyes for the first time today for lunch to which i was greeted by michal at the entrance, who was exceptionally polite and showed me to my table. furthermore, my Popeyes experience was over very impressive due to the sanitary condition of the restaurant, it’s bright atmosphere, and undeniably good fried chicken.

Absolutely fresh and delicious food. A great spot to eat in Richmond..the decor is so nice and I voting. The seats are very comfy too. I would return as the staff - especially Daphne and Shehara were so lovely and made the experience so brilliant for me.
