Checked out Popeyes today for a lunch party along with friends family as it was my spouse's birthday and the food was awesome and the service offered by Sravanti and other staff was very warm and welcoming. Would recommend again.

1st time trying today. Never again. It wasnt even busy i ordered a spicy chicken burger meal. Instead of a fillet they gave me 2 dry cold strips in the burger and it came with no pickles even though i didnt request that. Pure laziness. Ofcourse Staff chatting and having a good time. Fries cold but i can tell if they were fresh they would be nice. Overall no better than your average kfc.

Usually stick to the sandwiches, but today we thought we’d order the chicken-mild 6 pieces. It was inedible, it tasted of nothing but salt. It’s in the bin. Waste of money.

Clean, tidy and the food was great. Dhruv looked after us and was very attentive.

The worst tasting chicken I've had. The coating is delicious and crispy but that's where things end. The chicken inside is fatty, soggy and grey and smells and tastes bad, and one piece wasn't cooked properly and had a chunk of bloody red meat in it. I couldn't finish my meal. The fries were quite nice. My kids enjoyed their food but had ordered boneless pieces of chicken which looked a lot better. If you're going to eat here I'd advise staying away from the bone in chicken.

Food was great as Popeye's usually was. During our visit there were multiple families having arguments right in front of us. There was a helpful lady at the front door to let us in but the man behind the counter wasn't very helpful and seemed annoyed when we asked him for anything. Not a nice atmosphere to eat.

Uncomfortable and Unnecessary Setup at Popeyes Richmond I recently visited Popeyes in Richmond and was disappointed to see an employee stationed at the entrance just to open and close the door for customers. It wasn’t a warm greeting—it just felt unnecessary and, honestly, quite sad to watch. This person could have been helping inside, but instead, they were left standing there, doing a job that didn’t need to exist. Rather than focusing on gimmicks like this, it would make more sense for Popeyes to put their staff where they’re actually needed—improving service, reducing wait times, and ensuring a better customer experience. Seeing someone reduced to this role was uncomfortable, and it made the whole visit feel off. I hope management rethinks this approach. It doesn’t add to the experience—it takes away from it.

Delivery took 2 hours to arrive, food arrived cold and soggy! Ticket suggested food had been ready for an hour before it was delivered! Abysmal!

Chips were cold but food was good

First time trying a Popeyes and after hearing story’s of uncooked food at my local restaurant I was a bit sceptical but checking each bite the chicken was tasty fresh and well cooked the coated fries were well seasoned and tasty as was the lotus milkshake. . Amanpreet lair’s service was top notch and she was very pleasant.

Amazing service by the manager. Somali man, forgot his name but was absolutely lovely and made our day. Food however wasn’t enough and felt like they were rationing us. This is an honest review but overall delicious. I’d give it a 4.5 out of ten but maybe I’m being overdramatic since I was starving that day.

Staff has gone downhill. They claim the toilet is out of order, but it’s been like this for months. It is not legal for a restaurant of this size to not have a working toilet. This is food that you eat with your hands, and there’s no sink to wash your hands with soap. Gross, and totally unacceptable. I will be reporting this to the council. This place was good when it opened but it’s falling apart now.
