Costa Coffee in Richmond upon Thames

Always have a good experience here. However, walked in today and asked if they have anything vegan and immediately without checking the girl at the counter says no. Luckily another staff heard and she said they do and showed me the options. Didn't get their names but one of the girls had a headscarf and was super helpful and interested to do her job. Whereas the other girl was too lazy to check anything and had a no sorry for every question. Very different to the lovely staff that Costa used to have.

My usual place to have my morning coffee. The staff is friendly and swift. The quality of beverages matches Costa standards which is quite good for me. I like the atmosphere in general. So I'm glad to spend a tiny part of my morning here.

Excellent branch of Costa. Tidy and spacious with comfortable seating arrangements. I go for run in the morning around in this area and stop here for breakfast. Really enjoy their all day breakfast wrap and cappuccino. There is parking available outside the shop but has limited spaces.

All what you looking for, warm welcome, great food , fantastic drink , clean and relaxing space.I recommend it to everyone

I'm a regular customer I visit most days and I have to say Mo the gentleman who is there most days working is fantastic makes great coffee along with great service he always is polite, happy and professional. I always thought he was the manager but he isn't but I think he should be he is a credit to Costa at Ham.

Coffee and wifi here sunday after a night out. Told staff about my broken hand and they put my drink in tall glass! And carried tray to my table...at least i dont need a straw any .ire !

Quick and easy coffee but the coffees can tastes burnt.

I had major surgery and have walking issue, currently walking with walking frame, all the Costa staff is been very helpful, sometimes I can't go inside as I have walking frame, today they offered me free coffee, they played a role in my recovery as I often come here to have coffee and walk inside thier large shop. Many thanks to all the staff.

I hate it the manager was just so rude and all the staff they said I couldn’t sit inside do not go and my muffin was mouldy

Enjoyed a coffee early morning shortly after the shop opened. Quiet atmosphere, friendly staff

I mean, I know the staff aren’t purposely making so much noise, banging, steaming, shouting to each other across the shops, but I can’t relax none the less! Otherwise, it’s Costa .

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COFFEE TASTE. They gave me Iced Mocha made of rubbish milk that was out of date.

The new manager Elsa is very rude and abrupt. Since she has started working here, it has almost put me off buying my morning coffee here before I start work. I have been coming to this store on a regular basis since it opened, and have never had this attitude from any other staff member, all of the staff are friendly and polite. When I first encountered Elsa, I thought possibly she was having a bad day and finding it hard to adapt to managing such a busy store, however her attitude and miserable persona still remains the same! She is very snappy and very blunt and comes across as very rude.

There seems not to have been any wifi the last few weeks.

Staff were really rude about my 4 year old eating crisps from elsewhere whilst we had a round of coffee. At least be polite, and even so, try a little common sense. My partner had a baby strapped to her, and the staff came rushing over whilst she was trying to sit down, as if the crisps were some kind of emergency....

Absolutely awful customer service. Work on your interpersonal skills.

If minus 5 existed I would give it, you have changed the soya milk to something that is exactly like dairy and it’s awful!!. What I want is an adult drink with no sugar or dairy and a great Costa coffee taste, not some sugary milkshake mess that reminds me of my poor choices as a child , an adult non dairy sugar free coffee or we are done

The selection of cakes / sandwiches were very poor - for a Costa Coffee this was a dreadful experience ! Don’t bother go to 🌟🌟The Bistro🌟🌟 or L'Amandine Patisserie Coffee shop !

Wouldn't accept cash, when queried why I was told, because they haven't been told they can accept cash. Lost my custom today, unacceptable

Customer service is based on how regular you come to the shop. Overall too friendly and there's not distinction between professional and personal since I had to tell them am not your friend am a customer who loves good service.

The best Costa cofee in the area, I drive abit more just to get my coffee from them.

Got a cold pink drink for someone, looked nice but behind counter was a mess, ice cubes all over the counter and spilt drinks.

Ordered vegan ham and cheese via UberEats. Received real ham and cheese... Staff didn’t go above and beyond to make up for the inconvenience. Poor service, disrespectful, rude and lazy.

This Costa is new to the area and has very little competition as a coffee shop. It has a good seating area with large windows which look out on the bustling Ham Parade.. It's good for people watching. I've resisted the cakes and pastries, so far. The staff are charming and highly effectively.

It’s a nice spacious clean space, nice staff but the hot white chocolate I ordered is just milk with sugar and the bun was stale and dry. Disappointed.

Costa have a loyalty scheme and the coffee is pretty good. However the loyalty app is erratic.

Small but perfectly formed branch of Costa. This branch manager obviously takes great pride in this store. The place is spotless, the staff super efficient. The young man who served us was likely quite new to this role but was polite and efficient in his job. The branch manager makes a stonking flat white too. My daughter is on the spectrum and therefore may take her time choosing, they were patient and polite. I got confused adding my Costa points via my phone app, the other staff member who was training the new guy patiently sorted it for me.

Costa is Costa. Never going to be as friendly, personal, or have tasty coffee like your best independents. It does its job though!

Simply the best! Of the many Costa Coffees i have visted this is by far the biggest and the best. It used to be a mini supermarket and was converted to a Costa last year. It is huge and is like being in s massive lounge. Because of this mothers with kids, people having business meetings and those that just want to relax are able to without intruding on each others environment.

Very nice new Costa coffee shop. Spacious and well presented. Welcoming abionce and good service. I had a soya latte and a gluten free bakewell tart. It was yummy.

I asked for a kiwi fizzy drink, knowing that they don’t have it. The girl on the counter nicely offered me something else. But I ended up having a 7up instead. It’s good to talk to someone who has a smile and makes it easy for you. I also asked if I can take pictures of the shop she gladly said yes :) Thank you girl and thank you costa

Excellent new Costa! Have been in several times now and met the manager Deano and his staff- all very welcoming and polite and they remember my name already. Lovely Ben on the counter always waiting with a smile. The cafe is very clean and spacious with a variety of seats and sofas. A definate bonus for Ham.
