Alianti (Bonne Bouche) in Richmond upon Thames

Won't be returning wasn't a very good reception , plus there prices are ridiculous, better off going across the road to Marks an Spencer's an paying less money for better quality food.

A coffee shop in Richmond, close to Richmond Park. The food, dessert, and drinks were not as good as I hoped, not my favourite. The juice's price is more expensive than the other coffee shop I have visited in Richmond. The atmosphere was ok, not too noisy, but there was no music. The service was ok. They have indoor seating, and outdoor seating. As far as I could see, there was only 1 place of socket for charging. Toilet for customers is not available.

It’s so cozy and cute inside and on a nice little corner by an alley. I got the fruit slice and it was so super yummy, I could live off it for the rest of my life if I could. And the tea was delicious too!!!

Food is fine but it has anti-ambiance. Freezing cold and eerily quiet. A radio or something would make it seem livelier

This a real gem of a coffee shop off the high street near Richmond Green and not a big chain. The interior has a retro feel to it and you can sit outside as well. The selection of sandwiches, cakes and pastries plus pies and salads is amazing for a small establishment. Serving sizes are generous. The serving staff are all very friendly and efficient. The prices are not high making it good value.

The pie I had here was hard as a rock and absolutely inedible, never had one quite like it. Was super disappointing, quite expensive, and felt like a huge waste of money. Cute place and location but definitely not worth it at all compared to the many other choices in the area. Also no bathrooms for customers, which makes the eat-in surcharge feel extra ridiculous

Had a coffee and a pastry and everything was amazing and good value. We couldn’t decide between the pastries because they all looked really nice. Staff was kind and friendly, and the place wasn’t very busy, which is always a pleasure.

Probably the nicest Latte I’ve ever had. Hot chocolate was also 5 stars. Cakes all look amazing will be back for some

Lovely little cafe I went for breakfast in when I visited Richmond over the weekend. Nice coffee and nice lovely breakfast. Love cakes on display also which I will try next time I visit.

No bathrooms, refused access to bathrooms for our 3 year old toddler and to be clear we had already bought 3 breakfast meals and were sitting outside. I don’t understand how you can run a restaurant and not provide access to the toilet for the paying customers. Unacceptable. Food was fine.

Does the young customer assistant woman (with tattoos and long nails) hate the customers? If she is unable to communicate without making faces, it would be better to remove her from the shop... Otherwise everyone will judge the shop based on her behaviour... It looked like she made a favour to us, when she asked what we want. She should learn some basic politeness, communication, welcoming the customers etc. Some smiles also would be useful, but it seems that would be too much from her.... The place wasn't packed wuth people, so we can't tell she was too busy with the orders. I have been in other Bonne Bouches as well, and I had much better experience in other places. Such a shame, this place would be a little gem in Richmond, but just with an appropriate staff.

Small but nice place, super affordable price taking into account the restaurants around. Super good size and filling. The cold chicken ones are delicious. My husband and I shared a baguette, each of us with half was perfect; We added a sweet bread and two coffees and it was an excellent option for breakfast Highly recommended!!!!

The worst in Richmond.! Very unpleasant and rude lady at the counter who couldn't be bothered. Left before being able to order. A shame for an otherwise lovely city. In contrast the next café we went to was warmly welcoming and excellently served us. We were much happier spending our £s there than this sham.

The place was extremely busy when I went with my family, but we still managed to find a table. ordering food is via a qr code, so thankfully, we didn't have to queue up to order. Service was quick, and the food was excellent, which was surprising the amount of variety on the menu.

on the counter there is a sign, saying rudeness will not be tolerated .. however, the middle-aged brown hair woman behind the counter, could not be bothered to acknowledge my presence when I entered, and I then needed to repeat the 2 item order twice, as she clearly wasn’t listening or bothered .. so here's a tip instead of telling others how to behave, why not educate and train your staff so they behave in a manner that will not cause others to react in the same way your staff has already treated them, the older woman with glasses, was much better when she took over, quite possibly because she knew how rude the other one was being .. however, the cheese and tomato croissant was tasteless, and the coffee latte, was made so hot that 15 minutes with the lid off in the fresh air and it was still too hot to drink and was just terrible due to being made far too hot. Avoid this place, CAFE Paola up the hill is a much better option. update and the response from the owner shows exactly the attitude you are faced with . unable to acknowledge and apologise for fault,your presence as a paying customer isn’t worthy of being acknowledged with manners , cutting a tomato and greeting with respect new customers is apparently beyond the capabilities of staff nowadays !! as well as inability to produce food with flavour or a drinkable coffee!

Best coffee and croissants in Richmond!

I have to say today Friday 24th November around lunch time I received unprovoked attitude/service from a lady behind the till. Pulling faces and tutting when simply asking for a cake and sandwich, like she was fed up of having to serve a simple coffee or sandwich? It was also pretty much empty at the time I came in yet all the tables except one was clean for the whole time I was there.. I use to love this cosy cafe and after not visiting for a while I was looking forward to a quiet coffee and bite to eat on a cold day. I love the food display here but the service made me lose my appetite and I’m reluctant to ever come back, not like they would seem to care anyway. But why bother having a nice food display if the service isn’t even a tiny bit welcoming? It’s a big shame to have experienced, very disheartening and not welcoming at all… Oh well! 👎

We always stop for a coffee and cake when we're in Richmond. Alianti's coffee is as good as anywhere and better than most. Their lunch rolls look delicious but we've not had a chance to try them so far.

Wow! The brie and roast vegetable sandwich was honestly amazing. It was toasted and warm and delicious.

Lived in Richmond 30yrs and have always loved this place. For those who want something more than a high st chain. Old school, un-revamped charm and the best cappuccino in town!

Absolutely delicious. The texture of the dough on their baked goods is on another level. I would eat here every morning if I had the chance.

If you want a taste of the high quality continental Pastries the Bonne Bouche cafes offers exceptional food of Rolls, sandwiches, light meals and the pastry and cakes are exquisite! Just so yummy And there prices a very reasonable. Excellent value

Nice coffee shop in the oldest part of Richmond. They prepare good coffee and have a good range of pastries and food. Lovely for a chat with friends, but also for lunch breaks

Quite a nice little place but customer service is lacking. Talking to colleagues instead of taking your order. I waited a long time for my sandwich to be toasted around 15 minutes. Food was brought out and just out down, zero customer service from this person. Pretty annoying. It doesn't take much to show a slight bit of attention to a customer instead of zero acknowledgement

Perfect coffee. Delicious sandwiches.

This is an excellent small restaurant in a quiet side street of busy Richmond-on-Thames. We had walked from Ham House along the Thames and looked at the up-maket eateries near the bridge but we weren't that hungry. We wandered into the town and found Alianti. I had a tuna mayo and sweet corn sandwich on granary bread. My wife had a brie and Mediterranean vegetables toasted sandwich. Both were freshly made while we waited. Both were more than generous portions of sandwich fillings. I highly recommend this cafe!

Alianti is a hidden gem tucked among the quiet alleyway that leads to Richmond green. Home to the best cappuccinos and the most delicious freshly baked goods, this café offers a quiet and cosy atmosphere for your coffee fix. Some of my favourite Alianti baked goods include: the nought stick, the brownies, the chocolate and strawberry cake, the cinnamon rolls, and my all-time favourite-the tiramisu cake! Although their cake slices can be pricey it is worth the money as the cakes are fresh and the slices are massive! You can easily share one cake slice between two people! The staff are welcoming and if you are struggling to decide what pastry to try the staff are always happy to recommend their personal favourites- from their recommendations I have discovered new favourites like pecan pie! They don’t play loud music so it can be ideal if you are having a coffee catch up with a friend, I personally find it a lot easier to follow a conversation without loud music playing. It is also nicely located near Richmond green and Richmond riverside- if it’s a nice day I recommend using their outdoor seating or getting a takeaway and enjoying it on the green.

Nice sandwich and drink shop staff was super friendly and service was spot on. Picked up some sweet goodies to go for late night snacking.

We have been coming to this lovely little cafe for a few years now and will continue to do so! The ladies are always so friendly and are so lovely with our children. It is always clean and well presented with lovely tea and coffee- but most importantly, AMAZING and always FRESH food and cakes and pastries! They really are delicious. From breakfast to panini and pasta, juice and coffee, pastries and more decadent cakes foo. We sometimes have cooked breakfasts which are really filling and great value. There is something for everyone here. Highly recommend this lovely independent place and it’s just off richmond green! The only thing I would say is, I do wish they had a toilet! But it’s not really the end of the world- can just go into elsewhere nearby for that!

Ordered an English breakfast very bland but the service was good

Have been going to this restaurant for many years, Have always received good service, expensive but usually good service and quality Things have changed badly since shut down, staff not so helpful or friendly. Had a meal there yesterday, it was uneatable, the jacket potato Skin was burnt to a singer, the potato full of water, frozen prawns tasteless. Salad consisted of 6 small chunks of cucumber, 2 tiny pieces of tomato, 2 pieces of lettuce. Left the uneaten meal ,in full site of the staff, they walked past it a dozen times, they did not ask Me if any thing was wrong with the meal at any time, so when I wen5 to pay I advised them and showed the manager the meal, she was very unhelpful and said it must of been the prawns that caused it, no offer if some thing else, or even a piece of cake to go with my coffee. Full price taken, absolutely no appolgy.

Great place for a cappuccino and a pannini, but more than that. They have tea , pastries, interesting sandwiches and tarts. My favourite place to stop for a light lunch served well and at good speed. Forget you chain shop prepacked sandwiches and take a little more time to choose a lunch you will like rather than just eat. I recommend it after a big experience of both through many years working in Richmond. It's all good.

Won’t recommend scrambled eggs on toast. They had no flavour at all (none). 2 starts are for the juice which was good.

Delicious coffee ☕ in the cool shade. Busy little alley, hive of activity. Deliveries, families, friendly shop owners chatting to each other. In good weather a nice spot for a break from shopping to sit outside and watch the world go by. Seats inside too. One door was level with outside so ♿ access.

Excellent bacon sandwiches and coffee and the pastries are out of this world

Engels ontbijt genomen: goed doorbakken spek, goed gegaard eitje, lekker worstje, sappig tomaatje en prima witte bonen. Het was voortreffelijk voor een kleine prijs. Je kan er buiten en binnen zitten. Het personeel was wat onderbezet, maar zeker vriendelijk. Je kan ook afhalen. Helaas was er geen klantentoilet. De gevel stonk naar urine. Dit was zeker jammer bij het nuttigen van het ontbijt.

Great little cafe just of the main road in Richmond, staff are always welcoming and service is good as well as fast, I often pop in for a quick bite and if I'm on my way to a Rugby match this is where I go for a good breakfast beforehand Heartily recommend.

Cosy small coffee shop just off the green and one stone throw away from the shops and train station. It was quite busy when we went in and you have to walk carefully as to not to bump to other costumers but once you sit it's fine. There are loads of tables outside if you don't mind the cold weather. The coffee and cake was delicious at a very affordable price. Staff was cheerful and friendly. Definitely will visit again.

Excellent paninis, no scrimping on the mozarella! Lots of herb/fruit teas to choose from as well as your normal cuppa. Always busy before theatre and friendly staff.

Not a bad place for breakfast / lunch. Salads, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, quiches and breakfast served here.

Very poor English breakfast, beans were stone cold (and there were far too many of them) , bacon was of poor quality, eggs were overdone and was all presented on a bed of toast which inevitably became very soggy. The sausage and tomatoes were fine. Service was good though.

Rushed service. Not allowed to sit outside until paid. Courteous staff.but could not even finish my sandwich. Mozzarella was a far cry from the real thing. Tomato was.old. did not taste of anything. Will not come back. Sorry

Nice breakfast in the morning 3 parking bays opposite. Came here for something to eat before work perfect for any construction workers in need of a bite before starting the day.
