Another fantastic experience in Filika for a family birthday this weekend. The staff are so lovely and attentive — plenty of bread and hummus on arrival! — and the food is absolutely delicious. A steal at £14.75 for two courses at lunchtime! Highly recommend the vegetarian moussaka. Generous portions and fabulous fresh food. Two of our party were celebrating birthdays. The staff noticed their birthday badges and kindly brought over two celebratory tiramisus with candles and sang happy birthday (with no prompt from us). Will definitely be coming back very soon!

First visit and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next visit

Excellent project of students at local colleges, good no nonsense British food and beverages at very attractive prices- I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

One of the most delicious pizzas Ive had in months. Everything was perfect. The staff are lovely and the pizzas exceptional. Trust me I’ve had expensive pizzas from other places in the area, and they don’t even come close to Thamesmead Dominos.

Just had a hot chocolate and a croissant danish. I found 2 hairs in the inside. So naturally I reported it to the waitress who just replied saying “ok” and then just walked away. Quite disappointed with the hygiene levels but more disappointed with the response to the issue. As I walked out, the owner/manager just looked at the contaminated food and decided not to say anything. At least acknowledge the issue!

The mixed kebab was tasteless. The lamb tikka was tough, whether through overcooking or they used a cheap cut off meat, I can't tell. There was no mint sauce supplied. I wouldn't order again.

Really love their food and service is wow .Will comeback again with colleagues.

The great gentleman sitting outside who got help and for the lady who got me an Uber. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning. The hospital confirmed it. It is still a lovely pub and amazing staff. I would definitely go back. The macaroni and cheese was lovely 😍 but I became unwell as soon as i ate half of my sandwich. My partner and I have been guests of this restaurant from when it first opened , over 15years ago, and we had a very good. relationship with the previous owner. It was always our go to restaurant for a decent quality meal. The experience we had recently wasn’t up to the high standards of food quality nor did it deliver in the expectations we have experienced in the past, with dining in this restaurant. The meals lacked no depth of flavour or taste, it was as though an unseasoned chef quickly coddled them together without considering the end product or customers food experience. The portion size has reduced dramatically, the chicken supreme was of the size of a large chicken wing, And the dauphinoise potato had no flavour at all! I had to add salt and pepper ( which should never be the case ) We had regarded this restaurant in high esteem, but not anymore. I’m very disappointed I have had to write this review but the standards of this restaurant have fallen far below the excepted dining experience my partner have come to be accustom to with having dining in this restaurant over many years. In summary, standards have fallen and food quality doesn’t reflect the price tags that is expected with charging customers for a dining experience.
