the portions were smaller than I normally get from a foil container. Only 3 Bjahia. I'd expected 4 for the price.

I ordered Special Masala, but was sent Chicken Tikka Masala by mistake. This has happened on a number of occasions.

The mixed kebab was tasteless. The lamb tikka was tough, whether through overcooking or they used a cheap cut off meat, I can't tell. There was no mint sauce supplied. I wouldn't order again.

Good food, but Chicken Tikka Massala sent instead of Special Massala. 2nd time on the trot this has happened!

Great biryani, swapped the veg curry for a tarka dal no bother, my go-to Ruby!

Just ordered a take away from here, we normally sit in but chose to take away. Well in a world that's meant to be getting rid of plastic the whole thing came in plastic boxes . Very disappointed they are smaller portions so you get less but still pay top prices. We have to heat it up in the microwave now as normally just heat in my oven to keep warm. Will not be using them again why plastic it's so wrong might as well gone to the supermarket & saved money

Set Meal for 1 comes with Popadom they don't know their own menu, Chicken Korma, the chicken was rubbery, nor cooked inside chicken properly, Chicken Tikker, colour and presentation seems light marination nor cooked properly did not taste right, I think this place has changed chief or something this is not the usual careless behaviour, and delivery was 45mins late with no time management, this is not the first time, many times late like this with abrupt time management, nor did they read order notes properly for cooking taste.

It wasn't even remotely close to paneer tikka. Rubbery, flavourless and sour. The naan was good though.

I will now ONLY ORDER FROM HERE !!!! The food was hot tasty and flavoursome. Their dishes distinctly different and spiced perfectly. No lack in good tasting food!!! Highly recommended

We get collection from here and it's always hot, fresh and very tasty. Tonight we were especially impressed by the garlic chilli ponir and the bhindi bhaji which were both a 10/10! Flavorful with crisp vegetables. Friendly staff running the place and really reasonable prices. If you're local, give it a try.

Fab food delivered . We phoned and requested some dishes not on the online menu and got some to be vegan. Very tasty and good sized portions. Generous seafood starter was excellent including salmon and prawns, very good king prawn tikka masala- not too sweet- and naan. I enjoyed vegan veg balti, tarka dhal (a bit salty, large pieces of garlic so tasty but could do with more spices) and chappatti. Delivery was around 40 minutes, lovely guy.

Great authentic food with nice and welcoming service. Really well spiced and plenty of flavour, with tables spaced well unlike other restaurants.

The Good: Ordered a prawn dansak, which comes with rice. Asked for rice to be substituted for chapatis, which was honoured, thank you. Dansak was passable, I've had better and I've had worse. The Bad: Also ordered tandoori chicken, which tasted bitter and like nothing I've ever tasted before, and had to be binned. The entire order was delivered 30 minutes later than they advised, necessitating a call from me, and everything subsequently arrived cold - not lukewarm, but cold throughout. Overall, a disappointing first order, and I am unlikely to reorder.

The food was good. It was delivery late, but the traffic was bad at that time. No idea about the Restaurant service, I only had the take away. I gave 3 stars so that I can submit.

Set Meal for 1 the NAAN was missing, everything else okay, delivery 20mins late.

Worst food quality and taste. The prices are equal to good quality restaurants but food was horrible. Chicken was hard, we have wasted food. It seems they add lots of food colour.

Food was lovely - the only complaint I have is that I ordered a madras and it was more like a normal curry!

Ordered at 7pm, £62 worth, delivery stated 7.40pm-8pm. By 8.15pm nothing, phoned, bad line, muffled and noisy, sounded like they had no idea of our order, finally says 15 minutes. Order arrived 8.45pm, lukewarm food, not worth the wait. Won’t order again.

Was not the best tonight, normally really nice. Rice tasted burnt and Masala sauce was watery.

Pretty good main and rice (mutton naga and keema rice) and good size portion of both. Stuffed paratha didn't taste of much and the assorted crudités were a mixed lot of quality. However they gave me free poppadoms so would recommend.

Went for a meal with some colleagues. The food wasn’t nice at all. Whatever was said on the menu was not the same as it was when presented to us. All the curries had the same base and tasted all the same. Wouldn’t ever go here again.

Did somebody say JUST LATE? I placed an order at 21:08 on a Saturday and it arrived at 22:45 it should not take that long as I only live 2 miles from the restaurant. No update was given to me from the restaurant, and when I did call they said they're on the way which took 30 mins to arrive. On the plus side food was good no complaints there.

Best Indian in Wanstead for price and food quality.

This used to be best Indian res around but will not be ordering again as they seem incapable of getting orders right my last to orders were wrong stuff missing. This time ordered a chicken damask got chicken dopiaza instead

Fantastic food. Tried a Phall for the first time and the flavour was amazing, if you want a bit of heat I highly recommend

Delicious. Only negative thing I’d say is there was almost no meat in the keema naan.

Was ok. Boring. Nothing great. Has clearly labelled veggie and vegan items however to be honest they are pretty poor. Its 2022 and the veg curries contain frozen mixed veg and nothing else. We had a main side and rice each and left feeling like we could have eaten more. Better places to go for veggie options unless your idea of veg curry is just frozen peas and carrots.

Order submitted, restaurant set back delivery time, and then delivered way after that new delivery time. This isn't the first time there has been a significant delay and on one occasion our order cancelled. It's a shame that this place seems so disorganised, because the staff are (mostly) very nice and the food is pretty good, especially for the price.

Excellent food. Disappointed with the delivery guy - I left a note when I placed my order asking for him to call my mobile on arrival and not ring our doorbell (as we have two sleeping toddlers) and when he came he hadn’t read the note.

I placed this order almost 1h30min ago and I am yet to receive it. I called several times the phone number provided but no one bothers to reply. As of now I am still waiting waiting on the good. Only order with them if you are hsppy to wait 2 hours or more before receiving your good. I am extremely disappointed and I will never order from them again. Not only the food is overly late but no one bothers to pick up the phone when calling to enquire about delivery. A waste of my £18.90. Save yourself time and order elsewhere. Bad customer service skills🙄🙄🙄

My food was late but restaurant and driver did apologise and driver was very friendly at hand over. I have marked the food down 1 star as my Vegetable starter included a Meat samosa ?! Otherwise good food.

Nicest Indian we’ve had in ages, highly recommend

After an estimated 35-45min wait time, our order arrived after 1hr 40mins. The food is nice but not worth waiting for, especially as it turned up cold. The restaurant failed to update the order, saying it had been delivered after 45mins and when I called them they said it was on the way.... Another 45mins to drive 2 miles seems outrageous. Very disappointed. I requested some money back as it's not a cheap menu either, and the wait time and cold food didn't reflect the prices but the restaurant said no.
