Nothing wrong with the service. The food is terrible tho at extremely extortionate prices aswell. I asked for peri peri wings and received normal wings covered in sauce. Not good enough!

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. A friend of mine ordered a dish that, according to the allergen sign, clearly indicated that it did not contain eggs. However, when the food arrived, it was topped with a sauce that clearly contained eggs, which my friend cannot eat due to allergies. We immediately informed the staff and requested a new dish without the sauce, but they dismissed my concerns and refused to make any changes because of the cost. The lack of consideration for my friends health and the poor customer service left a bad impression. We will not be returning to this restaurant again.

My go to shop for some nice spicy burger and their loaded fries are to die for. The location is a bit tricky but thw staff are so nice! They also have the cheesiest fried mac and cheese triangles!

Keep your burger buns small please, it makes the fried chicken burger hard to eat with how slippery it became, and also made the chicken breast look smaller (or maybe it just was this time). Also the fried chicken burger here is okay but definitely not worth the price, mid I guess. It didn't taste better than Lakers' chicken burger and you get it much cheaper. Bits of the chicken were a bit tough, it wasn't succulent or soft like I was expecting.

Unfortunately very bad attitude great food but bad manners and so much insult never again in that shop ...

Lady staff member not wearing gloves has rings on and touching her nose disgusting. Reply to your view. Strange she seems to have gloves on plenty of times before prepping food and sure like she did not have rings on or when wrapping up the burgers she does touch them + use old rag at the front were u prep food. Anyway won't be comming back

I am not the one to rate a place on the first order and especially not when it's an Uber eats order, but felt like a big credit is due where it's deserved. The food was amazing, the double jointed wings so soft and full of life! The burger nice and big, the chips tones of it! Even the marketing on the chips pack added that extra sweet touch! They had an offer on Uber eats that drew me in, so now if we fancy some grease, and the offer is still running, I will not be shy to order again! Keep it up!

I ordered the Monster Pit Meal expecting something substantial given the price, but I was extremely disappointed with the quantity. The meal included a choice of burger or wrap, fried chicken monster fries, double jointed wings, 3x chili cheese bites, and a drink, yet the portions were embarrassingly small. For what it cost, this was far from worth it. On top of that, there was nothing special about the food at all. I chose the BBQ burger option, expecting the whole chicken to be coated in BBQ sauce, but all I got was a tiny squirt of sauce on top. The loaded fries were the biggest disappointment—I can’t even begin to describe how bad they were; just look at the pictures. The only decent item in the whole meal was the chili cheese bites. Overall, an overpriced and underwhelming experience. I won’t be returning.

Food was super tasty but the name ‘Monster box’ lacked what you would consider as a monster portion for the price. I’d say a few pounds less than I paid and it would be worth it. Go for the taste, not the price!

Been ordering from this place since Covid. Food has always been on point, but recently the standards have dropped considerably. Chips always undercooked, no utensils, no napkins. When I do Uber Eats it always takes them over an hour to make my food.

Can be expensive but still good food. Burgers are £7+ range for the premium ones. We got the burger meal with the 4 burgers. The lady at the counter was really helpful, suggesting the best deal depending on who I was buying for, helping us take advantage of the offers and getting more for our buck. Don’t be afraid to ask what’s the best value, it does cost a bit.

I am having food from last 1 year and never lost their taste. Best food in the town and the short fellow named Hunter is best at his job.

I ordered dinner for the first time from Pit Stop. The portion was really good for the price, especially the fries. The fried chicken and burgers were tasty. My kids enjoyed the milkshakes. The only downside was that there wasn’t enough salt on the fries. Will definitely order again.

The food is alright but they give you very less fries compared to the price. Also the wings are very overpriced as 5 wings are 8 pounds.

Brought the popeye chicken burger meal from here and after a few bites noticed it was very undercooked to the point I was given pretty much raw chicken as you can see from the pictures, ended up binning the rest of it, really shocked at the quality control of this place especially when being charged over £8 for a meal , to make matters worse I was almost charged twice until I requested for staff to double check the card machine, It's safe ro say I will be avoiding this place from now on

Alhumdullilah came here for iftar as an impromptu decision. We arrived at 6.10, bearing in mind iftar is at 6.18. They took our order and it came within minutes, at iftar time, one of the staff members came with water and dates to break our fast, and just excellent service overall!

Food here is always delicious which I can’t fault, but the wait times are ridiculously long, today I ordered 3 meals and waited a total of 26 minutes. The store was not very busy, but there was only two people working.

Best beef burgers in the area. I come up to here when I'm feeling a longer drive and have been ordering from them since 2020 from ubereats. It's one of my go-to places.

Updated in response review: please do not blame Uber for squashing the burgers. After so many negative reviews of other people saying the same - u still have not taken measures to fix the problem when you can use boxes or complain to Uber about their drivers. Also where’s the rest of the ingredients for the burger? Look at he pic on the menu and look at what u sent. The patty wasn’t even as thick as the picture or even half the size! The fries arrived within the hour of ordering. Fries do not go hard and stale within an hour! Original review: What the France did I get for my order worth 40 pounds? This picture is just one of the meals I ordered tonight. This is a quarterpounder. I ordered 2 of these meals plus 2 kids meals. Chips were dry and stale and the actual burgers were flat, nothing much inside them. How is this place still open?!

Me and the kids have been coming to this place since its opening and we haven't gone elsewhere since!!(with confident) i cannot talk highly enough of the food, or the amazing service we have always experienced. Can't wait for my next Pitstop 😉

Fast food is good must give option to have their daises and flavours separately

Initially took a bite of their cake which is usually nice, it had a weird taste and I felt a little nauseous right after. Was very shocked to have realised that the cake which I received was past the best before date by three days!!!!!!!! Quality control is very poor.

Left a bad review and then was quick to get a reply from one of the owners and I was able to get hold of him quite quickly on the telephone, which was gentleman like of him to say the least. He apologised multiple times to assure me this was an anomaly and will not happen again. He has offered me compensation by telling me I can visit the store again to get what I ordered again.

Pit stop is my local fast food shop and one that I frequent quite often. I visited today and placed an order for the food and drinks. As always, service and staff were great. The lady at the counter was polite and took the order and it was ready within a few minutes. As always, the food was banging amazing but what surprised me (pleasant surprise) was the complete change in the drinks selection. They have completely removed all Coca Cola and Pepsi products and replaced with a complete set of alternatives. I do agree the alternatives may not be as great tasting as the ones we’re used to however, given the political and humanitarian issues going on, it’s something I’ll happily compromise on. Proud to see this local shop being at the forefront of change! P.S - I really hope you guys don’t gatekeep this and share with other local businesses so that people like myself have the opportunity to go for other alternatives. Keep up the good work!

Food was awful, got the chicken loaded fries. Chicken was soo poor, the cheese tasted like the fake cheese squares. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Nothing was edible. Threw it away.

What truly made the visit exceptional was Ismail's fantastic customer service. He was incredibly attentive and provided top-notch service throughout. I highly recommend this place not just for their delectable burgers and loaded fries, but also for the warm and friendly atmosphere created by Ismail's exceptional service!

Beats mcdonalds just try it yourself!!! It taste so much better than mcdonalds the big pit and the double version I really can't get enough of it it's so much better than the big mac and the chicken bites are also another level. I hope they can keep up with that standard and recipe for a long time as I am absolutely hooked!!!

I bought 10 double wings. It’s was cold chicken maybe cooked long time ago. Few minutes heated and served. 5 was peri peri chicken but taste was disgusting I never had this type of peri peri chicken. Maybe Only they use chilli and lots of turmeric. Chips was soggy maybe cooked three/four times, 50% was too hard.

Fries a amazing, nostalgia inducing. Cant go wrong with double cheese for a night snack. Miss the double chicken. Try wings if u need something spicy

I went with my friend and we had a good time. The food was great and the service was amazing, all the staff members were nice and very helpful. The garlic mayo wings and sauce was especially good. And the ice cream was great. Would recommend this place!

Used to be great when opened and then as they started making money the greed kicked in. The prices are extortionate now as compared to what they used to be. The owner has changed menu and prices randomly regularly giving no consideration to regulars. They now think they are a gourmet burger place. This is how such places who get immediate success then roll and collapse. Quality dropped, prices increased and most recently they ahve just stopped doing Chicken pit burgers. I hope regulars stop visiting now and they become history. Every negative review here gets a very long response explaining why nothing is their fault. Please dont bother replying to me. You can't fathom how much money we have spent with you since you opened but I am done now. Never again. AVOID THE PLACE.

Gave the restaurant time to make amends (spoke with a member of the management team and sent them an email) but they have ignored me so here goes…. Placed an order with this restaurant on the 23rd and 24th of August via an online platform. I dismissed the former violent episode of diarrhoea and stomach upset as being attributable to a bug or otherwise; however, when I and other family members suffered the same symptoms the second time, shortly after consuming the food, it became apparent that this must be down to the food consumed from this restaurant. The reaction was immediate and thus not difficult to discern the cause. We consumed cheeseburgers and chips, and I believe it is the meat that may not have been handled properly, cross contamination occurred, or the cooking safety standards were not adhered to, I do not know. But I am confident that it is a food-hygiene-related issue. We have ordered from them in the past, with no issues. But their food preparation and service standards have declined sharply since then. For this reason, I would recommend against dining at this restaurant. I have also reported them to the food standards agency for posing food safety hazards. Edit 25/08/23: the restaurant responded unsatisfactorily and without resolution. What is more distasteful, is their reductionist and uppity attitude that they could do no wrong - two concurrent episodes of food poisoning seem so implausible to them is quite puzzling, they are an eatery after all. Some cases of food poisoning will inevitably materialise. If I never admitted that I too experience shortfalls as a business owner my business would collapse. But like another reviewer remarked, greed and arrogance are diseased traits that impair the judgments of many business owners. I contacted Uber and they have issued a refund of the order, which satisfies my complaint with them.

Used to be very good, now just a bang average wanabe Mcds unfortunately. Recent huge price hikes and quality of food has also significantly diminished. We all need to boycott these greedy establishments, ONLY then they will realise to respect the consumer and improve on costs and overall quality. Greed is killing our people.. (regular walk- in and ubereats customer).

1 Popeye chicken burger meal with regular chips and honey mustard sauce 5 Buffalo wings As a lover of a quality “buffalo sauce”, I was keen to see how Pit Stop fared to past experiences. The bar was high. The expectations were not. And I opened my bag and spread my meal in front of me. I opened the wrapper on the Popeye and was impressed at the size of the burger. I poured my chips onto the aluminium wrapping and then ate a couple. I wasn’t impressed. The shoestring chips seemed to have a lot to be desired. So I added salt. Okay. They’re tolerable. Let me take a bite of the Popeye, saving the reason for ordering (the buffalo wings) for last. First bite. Not bad, but nothing special. It was a chicken burger. I opened the container of honey mustard and dipped a few chips in and took a bite. Not what I was expecting. Normally honey mustard has a sweet kick, a flavour that doesn’t pack the punch of buffalo sauce but has that tangy mustard flavour. This didn’t. It had a lovely and intriguing blend that offered you the flavour of the honey as much as the mustard. It was incredible. Suddenly my chips were impressive and I dug in. I took another bite of the burger and, this time, I caught a bit more of the sauce with the chicken and I quickly took another bite. Delicious! Unique but bold. Every bite thereafter had this lovely taste and I soon discovered that I was halfway through my burger and chips and hadn’t tried one of my wings. And I’m beginning to feel slightly full. I opened the bag of wings and discovered that what was in the bag was not what I had expected. I expected 5 wings roughly the size that you would find in any generic chicken shop. No. Each wing was the equivalent of two, as if they had cloned themselves in the bag. And I took a bite with rueful anticipation. Lovely flavour. A tickle on my tongue confirmed that there was a touch of kick to this sauce. And after a moment, the first wing was gone, fingers being sucked like a toddler without a pacifier, enjoying every second of buffalo ecstasy. My mind flashed to the evening and, with belly starting to swell, I realised that I could have a lovely treat with the remaining wings with my evening dinner. With that in mind, I returned to relish my Popeye and chips, devouring the rest with gentle bliss – all the while realising that beads of sweat were popping up on my forehead and neck from the buffalo wing eaten moments earlier. Burger finished, the last chip working its way to an already full belly, I looked at my evening treat. “I’ll be happy with only 3 tonight,” I thought as I picked up one of the remaining 4 wings. With gusto, I dug into the wing, wearing a suitable quantity of buffalo sauce around the corners of my mouth and down to my chin. Soon 4 became 3. Without warning 3 was no longer in the future, but 2. Belly straining against the temptation of desire, 2 became a memory and only 1 stood between me and a clean sweep of my order. It was then that I realised there was a puddle of buffalo sauce at the bottom of my bag, a puddle beckoning as a rain puddle to a child in galoshes. And so my final wing went for a swim. Dripping, it beckoned. And I succumbed. The fiery blaze that danced through my head whilst the sweat reached its orchestral crescendo. The run from my nose as my brain forgot how to contain itself. And the sigh as the final bite was eaten; as the fingers, red from buffalo sauce each sought their turn being licked clean; as the nose begged to be blown… 30 minutes later, I still taste the remnants of the sauce. I find myself licking my lips in hopes there might be a sliver of nectar hiding and waiting to be found. I thought the wings were expensive when I ordered. I thought they were overpriced. My bar was reached. The expectations exceeded. Worth every penny. And on a side note, the service was "spot on".

Disgusting chicken wings , which were all spoiled, were stinky after opening the package…I will not recommend anyone..my >9 pounds wasted, all had to throw in dustbin..

Came across PitStop on uber eats and im not sure how i have not heard of them before because everything was 10/10. Amazing quality and taste.

They probably do the best processed burgers in the area. Try it with the Algerian sauce. I prefer real fresh burgers hence not a 5*

I recently visited Pitstop, I ordered their signature chicken fried burger and it exceeded all my expectations. The patty was perfectly cooked to juicy perfection, bursting with flavor. What impressed me even more was the excellent service provided by staff. I think his name was Sniper who was on the counter very professional.

Lovely food ruined by Uber eats greed. When food is delivered hot it is delicious. Sadly the greediness of Uber eats and the multiple stops en-route make it a poor dining experience as food is almost always delivered cold. Please introduce your own delivery service.

Interior decor is fine. Food is a great alternative to McDs style food and it's HMC - a great bonus. Food is good and the atmosphere is quiet inside, that's because you see a lot of takeaway orders coming through.
