Punjabi Tadka in Redbridge

They don’t now how to behave with their customers. Specially the manager over there was very rude .They took extra money from different people for same beer. Very unprofessional just think twice before you plan to go there.

The food is fine if you know what to order. Best if you know the owner. Order off the menu at your peril. Have the amritsari fish. Goat curry. Dall. Agree the prices. It's not a date night venue. Toilets are poor. Would not take the wife.

I recommend not go there. There policy is different to everyone. They tell different at booking time and serve different at times

Has not yet experienced the dining in, but had a take away tadka daal was so delicious and bhartha was so yummy too, both dishes was mouth watering. Definitely ordering again and going to dine in one day too.

We had chicken tikka, samosa chaat, chilli paneer, fish pakora, mains daal makhani, butter chicken tandoori and garlic naan. All the dishes hit the spot and did not disappoint. We will be going back. I would like to add we hired them for my husband's 60th birthday party on 7.12.24. The food and service was great, would definitely recommend them. They set up the hall, serving and even clearing up hall afterwards. 100% recommend them.

Had desi daal and bangan bartha with tandoori roti 10/10👌🏽 will be back when in the area no doubt

I very highly recommend people not to go to this resturant called Punjabi Tadka.. Their dishes are so horrible and served cold to the table.. Palak paneer was watery with little grated paneer.. Again cold and tasteless.. The dal makhani was a complete disaster.. Naals were like rubber..And not forgetting the staff as cold as their food and very rude.. The manger was even ruder than the staff.. Very down leved food with high leveled prices..simply avoid such places people with your hard earned money and your days out..enjoy elsewhere lots of nice places to eat 👎

We found the taste of food authentic Punjabi style, compliments to Chef. Quantity of Starters and Main meal was generous; we had to bring some of each as takeaway. Owner and staff were very honest in recommendation without choosing the most expensive item. The service was with a smile by waitress, Hira, who served us. She checked on us if we liked food and met our small demands like salt, normal water with lime etc. Being a Saturday night, which is busy, the food was served in timely manner and hot. We were not pressured to rush our meal. The owner checked on us too. I noticed that the staff were meeting the request on next table with 6 youngsters from food to music played. As they knew we had come from a long distance, they informed that in future I could ring in advance, and they wood reserve parking space in their car park. We were recommended this restaurant. I will certainly go back with the family again. Good service by Hira, Owner was obliging, compliments to Chef and generous value for money.

Dirty place to eat rats running in back use old meats and chicken very rude staff no manners plate not clean properly seen owner clean plate with his mouth and cloth very disappointing.

The people works here are so rude if i can give 0 rating. I have ordered from this restaurant from uber they gave the food to driver who is delivering food in normal bag not even thermal bag and when we called them that u cant just give it to them like that because we pay for the food and they were like its not our problem.

Amazing experience there, food was great authentic Punjabi flavours. The food was nice and hot, staff were very friendly (the owner aswell) and the female member of staff was very polite and welcoming. We will definitely come here again.

Oh my days, I cannot express how much I LOVED the food here! We ordered a fish curry, channa masala, bhatura, lamb curry, butter chicken, sheekh kebab plain rice, coconut rice, plain and onion/chilli naan. Everything was sooo delicious especially the fish curry. Definitely pop in here (especially after a 6 hour church session next door!)

Really unprofessional. One of the managers addressed a female guest at a wedding as “baby”. Ruined the day.

Good Punjabi food ,I recommend Fish pakora, channa batura, chilli chicken . Biriyani not traditionally prepared, mix platter has very little quantity compared to other restaurants.

Food was great and i went with my family. Few drunk punjabi guys using bad langues next to our table They talking with owner it means they know each other . with family i felt very bad .i think bater to take away insted to go family

We phoned the restaurant as we were really late like 11 pm and they said they are open until 11.30pm (that too on sunday). We arrived around 11.15 pm 4 of us and the food was served at 11.35. It was paneer chili, baigan bharta, dal tadka, roti, nan and jeera rice. The food was awesome. I felt like I was having a home made food in punjabi family. The service was great thanks to Maria although we being so late. I will give full marks for everything. Great food, service and price as well. Will go again and again if I am in 7 Kings... RAJ

Awful customer service I was in the middle of eating my meal and was asked to leave simply because it was closing time. No advanced warning was given and the staff was really rude and aggressive. They literally pushed me and my family out. Never recommend going here ever again

Not idle for family and kids, tried this restaurant food is expensive as per quality and quantity wise. Crowd was also not good at all. Ambience was also not good. Parking was issue. Overall didn't like anything there

Food is below average and above average prices. The place needs a major refurb. Please check your bill before you pay, as you might find unexpected drinks added to it. The lady singer, is too loud, but not a bad singer.

The owner is a absolute idiot. He loves overcharging , he just can't knock it out he's system. I, along with friends have visited this restaurant a few times after a few drinks in my local. Every single time there's an over charge on the bill, he probably assumes that we're all pi88ed and will not look at the bill in depth so therefore tries his luck by adding a good few extra Pounds on the bill. The lady who sings, who the owner claims is his wife is okay at singing, but she gets a bit too much. Some customers like a chat but with her blurring in your ears all night long is a little annoying. Anyhow, the food is okay and there's very limited parking around. My advise. Please double check your bill before paying and don't be afraid to contest it.

Food got colour only there was no taste at all. no salt no chilly no spices at all waste of money. Portion is nice and enough to feed two people but if taste isnt there then what one does with the quantity

Place is small but does the job

I was very very disappointed with the service. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. On Saturday 3rd Feb I went there in the evening with my hubby for a quiet evening meal. I am a pure vegetarian all my life. We ordered palak paner with roti and I was served gosh palak or some sort of non vegetarian. After 1 bit we realised the mistake but my religious beliefs and my life long service was broken on that day. The waiter seamed like a trainee who was completely unsure of what he was doing. When he came to take our orded he used a used-up tattered piece of paper to write down the order as well...they dont have any system like other restaurants with taking orders. He never even confirmed the final order of what he had written down and ran away. No tissues were provided either. I hav been to this place once before and the the waitress asked if we wanted spicy or mild and we chose mild but the food was so super super spicy but as my hubby liked their quiet atmosphere, we chose to go there. I would not recommend this place to anyone as the food doesnt taste nice nor are the prices worth the food....100% NO

Excellent parathas. However, the sauce for chicken tikka masala was a little underwhelming and malai kofta was a little too bland. Happy and friendly staff though.
