First time here with a couple of friends. Staff were really helpful with our selections and the charcuterie board was great. Needed more crackers which the staff were more than happy to let us have. Will be visiting more regularly from now on.

We went to a wine tasting this evening. This bar is such a great addition to Wanstead. I have been to several wine tastings in the past and this was by far the best. Wade (the sommelier) was so interesting and engaging and informative. The wines were lovely and the staff were lovely. I definitely recommend and it the best wine bar in Wanstead.

Second visit to this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are all so friendly and the food is proper Italian cuisine not like the big chains. The squid is perfectly cooked and the pasta and sauces are so tasty. Well worth a visit but book as it gets really busy in there and you can tell why.

Eva was fantastic and we really enjoyed our evening here. The wine was FANTASTIC!!! This is such a lovely option to do instead of a standard meal out. Beautiful vibe and friendly helpful and informative staff. Will definitely be back 5 stars all the way. Sabrina X

Hmm, I wrote & looked at writing review tips, then it disappeared! No worries. Wanstead seems to get better & better, Iv tried a few eating places now. I went in to Piccolo's at 7pm & now almost 9pm! Much quieter. Massively busy & only a Thursday! Actually a small queue. Plenty of attentive, conscientious staff. I had eaten at 12.30 so I intended only have a light meal! But! The sights & smells were calling.. A soup, minestrone/spinach, then a smaller portion of salmon risotto (waitress said it was smoked hot salmon, but too salty for me & I put my lemon water & lemon juice on it & it was perfect) a piece of watercress /parsley, would've been complete for my eyes & tum & very nutrtious garnish & on the soup, I did ask for croutons with it. Some lovely soft blue cheese, as in photo completed a great experience. No grapes hanging from the ceiling! Thankyou for a good atmosphere. Thought I'd finished, but on giving very valid feedback, in a pleasant helpful way, I was met with slight annoyance & seeming to blame me as the time had been so hectic & I was the last straw! Nevertheless I had to repeat requests & got there in the end. Single diners get 2nd hand service at times! I wonder why. Now for the bill. Manageress not here, so I'm expecting a mull over it...! GOODNIGHT!

Must wine bar is a LOVELY place! Great service, seating options, wine choices, food and music. A secret back patio under the trees was the perfect quiet place to get some work done with great tunes all afternoon. Estelle and Bella were the nicest servers and had great recommendations and let me taste two wines. Served by the glass with reasonable pricing made me want to be adventurous! Had an amazing Chilean wine. Great chat with everyone and chilled for several hours. The toilet is upstairs and very clean and cute.

Dirty waiters working here. Serving very cold food. No hygiene maintain at all. One day ruing from kitchen to food serving area. I don’t know how this restaurant still doing business as normal. They should have close down by FSA.

I came with my family and had a pizza which tasted delicious, the staff were kind and looked after us with great service. I would recommend to anyone looking for meal to have with friends or family, definitely coming again.

Don’t bother with this one. Food not terrible but service grumpy and grudging. Cant book by phone as they dont pick up. We got turned away 90 minutes before their closing time three weeks ago. We managed to get served last week and the female staff were miserable and unhelpful. Bit rubbish. This place used to be good…

It was our third time at Must in Wanstead and we love it! The service is always amazing, Eve and Bernadette were great at helping us find the best wine and they were so attentive throughout our night. It is our new favourite place to get wine in Wanstead - we will be back soon!

We had a lovely time sitting at the window at MUST. We had the Valencia Chardonnay as recommended by the lovely Bernadette and this paired delightfully with the truffle nuts. The atmosphere was chilled and vibey. Music selection great. Eva looked after us really well as did Bernadette. Will come back again with friends!

It’s gone down hill since it’s been sold to some grumpy lady with glasses. The atmosphere, service, quality, the size of the dish has all gone. The prices have risen a lot, this is not due to the cost of living. You can tell the chefs are not happy, they uses to walk around have banter in the kitchen it’s all gone. This USED TO BE A GOOD ITALIAN, it’s more of a Eastern European feel

This was my first time in MUST and won’t be the last. Harriott and Estella were very welcoming and knowledgeable. My wife had the sparking flight and I had one of the fine wine flights. These guys have over 80 wines that you can order by the glass which is very impressive. They are able to do this as they use a wine preservation system that keeps the wine fresh for much longer when opened. Looking forward to visiting again. We called in after dinner so did not order any food however the food menu looked delicious.

Wade gave us an excellent new years experience - some tasty parings and went above and beyond staying long after close to ensure we had a great time! Brilliant customer service will be coming again!

Had a fantastic time celebrating a friends promotion. Great insight into different wines and amazing choice of wines by the glass to try. Will certainly be returning again for a date night!

I chose this venue for a surprise celebration attended by 26 guests. We had a joyous evening with all our family and friends. Your venue is simply beautiful, a great space to host our event. The wine tasting experience included 5 wines and a platter of mezze style nibbles (ham, cheese, nuts, hummus, grapes etc). You could tell the wine was of thee finest quality. I normally wake up in the morning, my head feeling a bit heavy after wine - but not on this occasion!!! The wine selection was incredible and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the choices given to us. Mike and Wade are the perfect hosts - really friendly and incredibly attentive. Must Wine have a great team, who are warm, helpful, graceful, polite and overall just good vibes! We look forward to visiting again soon.

Harriet always looks after me so well. Always smiling friendly staff here. A really good range of interesting wines. I love to come here and relax. One thing i have mentioned a number of times - people drink more when they are warm. The money you spend on running the air conditioning in summer and making it too cold could be spent on making it warmer now it is coming up to winter. Hence my atmosphere rating. Having said that i recommend people come and try a very good selection of interesting high quality wines. Treat yourself to some delicious olives and truffle nuts - perfect accompaniment. Cheers

Recently had the pleasure of dining at must and I can’t recommend it enough. The knowledgeable staff were very helpful and kind, especially Nicoleta. Not only was Nicoleta an amazing server at must, but she also surprised us by making our food herself! The dishes she prepared were absolutely delightful and bursting with flavour. From the presentation to the taste, everything was top-notch, a true superstar all around! Would definitely return in the future

Wonderful selection of wines and really helpful staff who made suggestions and gave us tasters even to try first. I had an amazing Italian flight of 3 outstanding wines from the fine wine section of Barolo, Brunello and Amarone!?! Gorgeous cheeses presented as showstoppers with chutney and quince jelly aaand honeycomb. My friend is veggie and the mezze was perfect for her. I’ll be back with more friends and whoever I can drag down with me! Already booked on to the Australian wine tasting next month. Got my loyalty points on their app so that already makes me a regular right!?!

I did not get his name but he looked to be the senior member of the team on duty and he was Australian, well, he demonstrated such knowledge of the wines and spent time to explain each glass in splendid detail. Thanks again for always making our visits a must.

We attended the cheese and wine tasting as part of the wanstead fringe. It was truly delicious and so well researched. Each wine went beautifully with each cheese. Would really appreciate you telling me again which 3 wines we sampled. Many thanks for such an enjoyable afternoon.

Loved the wine tasting. There was a selection of Bubbles, White, Rose and Red. I wish there was more Red wine because that's just my personal preference. Overall we loved the experience. Shout out to Wade for his knowledge and attending to us for the evening. The platter was lovely and light with a mixture of breads, hummus, olives and meats. Would recommend to any wine or gin lovers. 🍷

Everything is exaggerated overpriced! You are going to pay 10£ for a 125ml glass which is very poor quality is like a 6-7£ pound bottle from a local supermarket. If you want to drink good wine they have a different section for that and you are going to pay 20£ per 125ml glass which is ridiculous. I have been in Italy and paid for a bottle of house wine 8€ euros and it was amazing 100% organic and they charge you here at MUST 10£ for poor quality wine And I have tried 3 different white wines which they were 10£ and all 3 were horrible very sparkly very dry like pub wine You can go in many places and drink proper quality wine for a lot less and they charge this prices. Anyway we tried some olives as well and they were absolutely horrible like the worst from Aldi except that if you go and also Humus was exactly like the cheapest one from Aldi horrible! Cheese plate was good but extremely overpriced This people are sick 24£ for a cheese plate Absolutely ridiculous! It should be maximum 10£.

Must is the go to place for lovely wine, delicious food and wonderful service. They went above and beyond to give us a great experience. I would highly highly recommend.
