The atmosphere here is amazing, great place to relax and chill with family and friends. The food is amazing, highly flavoured, fresh and very tasty also there’s a range of different drinks. The staff is friendly and welcoming with swift service. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t be let down 💯🔥

Going by the reviews, I had great expectations. It was my birthday. Walked in and wasn’t greeted by any staff for such an awkward amount of time. Then I approached a young boy sitting facing the window and realised he must work there and he said sit anywhere. We only ordered drinks as couldn’t wait to get out of there so I can’t comment on food. There were a couple other customers but they may all be known to the staff but there was zero atmosphere, the female waitress was rude, didn’t smile or talk, except to the guy, and didn’t understand English well. We asked for the candle holder on our table to have a candle put on and lit - denied and no niceness. Second tequila shot I ordered I had to ask for tissues and salt & lemon. I had birthday balloons and not one member of staff could acknowledge or offer a free shot or make a vibe. Worst place I’ve ever been to! She just sat behind the counter vaping and on her phone and the guys looked like they were doing drug deals. I do not recommend

I've never given a review of a place I haven't been to before but I wanted to express my disappointment at the online menu. I've walked past a few times and it looks inviting and the drinks menu is great but I cant understand why an "Italian" restaurant only offers one spaghetti, one linguini, two ravioli and a risotto dish. It's a step in the right direction to raise the tone of the neighbourhood but not enough to draw me in yet. UPDATE: I finally decided to visit for a glass of wine and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. Five stars for bringing a touch of class to Gants Hill.

Went to have a birthday dinner and when we arrived was greeted by Riccardo who couldn’t do enough for us! The drinks were top quality, the service amazing and the food totally unforgettable. Fresh, tasty and good portions, I haven’t been so satisfied with a meal in a seriously long time! When Riccardo found out it was my birthday he made it extra special with attention to detail. I would highly recommend this place. If you want fresh food, good drinks and excellent service you NEED to go to DiVino’s.. I will 100% be back again!

Early solo dinner. Very welcoming stuff, waitress and sommelier at their best. Had rizotto safran and pumpking ravioli. Great authentic tastes. Nothing to do with chain restaurants. Definitely recommending to try and retry. Menu is various yet not confusing. Good variety of wines and cocktails too.

This was our first visit to this restaurant that we have meaning to go to for a while , and we wish we had gone sooner. We went straight for main courses , the salmon and Divino Ravioli which were both excellent. We were impressed with the service provided by Ricardo , who knew his wines , not surprising as he had previously been in the employ of Gordon Ramsey. The atmosphere was enhanced by the excellent Mellow jazz that was playing in the background. Another visit is definitely on the cards.

Went with family for a really nice Sunday lunch. Good quality food and good size portions at comparatively reasonable price. Service was excellent and attentive. An enjoyable experience.

Use to love this place .Not anymore since the staff/food has changed. Staff unfriendly and rude made you feel like you were bothering them simply by being there.Pushed to leave the place by bringing the bill without asking for it ( even tough the restaurant was empty) with £10 Service Charge added.Food overpriced for its quality and quantity.... Spoiled with carnation flower(used for funerals) on the plate .. .. Never back again.

Here for our golf society’s Christmas dinner. Excellent pre arrangements, with menu’s provided and pre-ordering encouraged. The food was superb. Highly recommend the lamb scottadito and the panettone with amaretto sauce. The wine was excellent.

Very nice place, I walked in to have a drink after long hard day, felt instantly home had super nice Apperol spritz, Manager was really friendly and Vera super happy 😊😊recommend definitely ❤️

Excellent service and food last weekend on Saturday evening for my family and I before I rode the annual RideLondon 100 mile cycle ride from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park early on Sunday morning! Great reception and a handshake for the waiter certainly helped to pass the time and enjoy the meal. Decently priced menu for London and great tasting and prepared food thoroughly enjoyed by my family and I. Plan to return soon when next working or visiting east London.

Stumbled across this beautiful restaurant as we were waiting for a few friends to turn up for dinner so came to this restaurant for a drink, as we entered the staff Ricardo & Vera were very warm and welcoming, Ricardo’s knowledge of the wine available was good as he found me a red wine I enjoyed I could probably have the bottle! We will surely be back for dinner soon

Great food and wine with friendly staff.

Food was great I eat in Ilford a lot and get tired of Indian n Turkish food so having an Italian place open up is brilliant, the chefs there are awesome, presentation on the plate is great it's hard to find a place like this any where actually, staff are really friendly and seem to actually care unlike most other places, I really like it coming here

We visited Divino recently and was pleasantly surprised that it met our expectations! The mixed seafood platter was lovely and we ordered the rack of lamb, seafood linguini and the duck breast, all of which were exceptional! Will definitely be visiting again.

Divino is a fantastic Italian restaurant situated near Gants Hill station ✨ The chef recommended: ➡ Capesante (seared scallops served in a basket made of parmesan placed on chickpea cream) - I’m not sure how I felt about the parmesan basket, however, I know how I felt about the scallops & chickpea purée - that was love 🤤 ➡ Argentinian prawns rolled in parma ham on creamy cheese ➡ Bruschetta (toasted aromatic bread topped with tomato garlic, basil, olive oil and oregano) ➡ Ricotta and spinach ravioli (homemade ravioli filled with ricotta cheese, cherry tomato sauce, basil, and spinach) ➡ Rolle di branzino (roulade of seabass on mayonnaise sauce) - I felt the fish lacked a little flavour but the sauce was nice 👍🏽 ➡ Homemade panna cotta topped with pear slices ➡ Chocolate souffle (homemade chocolate souffle served with vanilla ice cream) The food was divine, the service was superb, and the interior was beautiful 😍 I love that Divino is so close to home, great excuse to visit again 😋

We visited Divino recently and were taken aback by the quality of the food and service, it exceeded all expectations!! The lamb chops in particular were delicious!! This restaurant is completely unique in comparison to others in Gants Hill, which has seen an influx of similiar type of cheaper eateries, none of which compare to the quality & flavour of the food at Divinos and the smiley service!! We will be regular visitors going forward for sure!!

Had a birthday dinner here with my Italian family. We were a Group of 12 including a baby. The food was amazing, the closest I've come to the home cooking I get in Italy - fresh, great flavour and good portion sizes. The wine list is extensive and we had both red and wine and cocktails. The service we received was top notch. They fully accommodated all our needs, including providing a Gluten free meal for my mum & a birthday cake for the birthday girl. They even provided crayons & paper to help keep my baby girl occupied during our meal. Fantastic meal - will definitely be coming back.

Had a lovely lunch for Mothering Sunday here, the staff are very attentive, the food delicious and the wines lovely. My mum had the Chablis and it was really quite special. This place is still relatively new and often doesn’t look busy, so I really hope people make the effort to try it, even if just for a special occasion, as this area is lacking in classy drinking spots and good Italian restaurants. Really recommend.

Beautiful venue, delicious food and wine! I had booked a table myself and five girlfriends for dinner last Friday evening. I booked a week in advance very easily directly through the restaurant's website and received a text and email confirmation immediately. On the night we were all very impressed by the decor and warmth of the greeting we were each given on arrival. The setting is intimate, luxurious and sophisticated if you want somewhere for a relaxed drink and meal without having to push through crowds or shout to make yourself heard. The prices are on the slightly higher side but for the quality of the whole place this is to be expected and dare I say, at the risk of snobbish, it keeps the whole vibe of the venue slightly more refined. Service was very fast, attentive and friendly. I had a brandy and coke then I tried a house red wine which was very good (the lovely gentleman who served it initially offered to swap it if I didn't like it). They are definitely wine connoisseurs! My friends and I were all happy with our food and drinks. I ordered the Caeser Salad pictured and a lovely, decadent chocolate concoction for dessert which a few of us shared and thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be returning and several of my friends said the same! Well done Divino- the area needed a decent bar/restaurant like this!

An absolute amazing experience from start to finish. The setting and decor is beautiful and the service was outstanding. Vinnie went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable and it certainly was. Very friendly service and the food was very good. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Divino is a one of kind experience in Gants Hill and the surrounding area, having lived here many years; Divino is the kind of place that makes me proud of the area. Beautiful inside, friendly and knowledgeable staff that treat you as friends first, customers after, delicious food (especially steak and the cheese cake). Couldn't recommend more highly!

We wanted somewhere to go for Valentines this year and found DiVino by chance. The staff were attentive and courteous, the ambience and decor were good, and we loved the food we chose. A few more selections to choose from on the one-day set menu would have been nice, but what we chose, we really enjoyed. Next time we will be bringing the family...

If you haven’t tried this already...make reservations now! I drove past the restaurant several times and finally gave it a go and was not disappointed. The wine is good, the food is delicious, the service is outstanding...what’s not to love?! Thank you to Anisa who made our evening memorable.

Nice experience but waiter gave one price for the bottle and then the manager came 10 min later and said another price. From £100 to £180 so I ended up just taking 4 glasses at £9 per glass. So it seem I was the winner over all and they lost out on £60

Family owned restaurant with the finest homemade Italian food and the friendliest staff in Gants hill and the surrounding area. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere and regularly come here with my friends and family. 5 stars every time.

Popped in with a friend for dinner with no idea about this place and I have to say I cannot stop raving about it! The friendly welcome we got as soon as we walked in was second to none! Asked if we wanted to sample the wines which to me is such a great touch!! I had the carbonara and my friend have the tuna and we had a fish platter to start......and my only feedback is this.......TO DIE FOR! Food was absolutely gorgeous, the wine was stop on and the customer service from all staff was simply perfect. I’m already planning my next visit here and I live in Colchester!!

We stumbled across this restaurant, which has just recently opened. Very nice setting and decor inside and an extensive wine list. The food was also lovely - I had the tuna steak and my boyfriend had the carbonara. Furthermore the service was fab - the owner Vinny was very hospitable and looked after us, he was very friendly and chatty. Will definitely come again ! What a nice change - a decent Italian in Gants Hill!

Only open for three weeks tomorrow, but I'm very surprised that this is the first review. Vinny, the manager, is very friendly and looking to establish a loyal fan base here and, with the food on offer here, it won't be long before he has one. Slightly limited menu but everything that we tried on it was simply lovely good Italian cooking.

We were away on the week end and had lunch here on Saturday and then dinner with friends as we celebrated an anniversary and birthday on Sunday. Divino is a very modern lovely restaurant the food was presented nicely and food was amazing, Annisa, Vicenzo and others where so friendly they couldn't do enough for us we were a group of 8 on Sunday evening for dinner and the food was all excellent we also meet the shef , who was also very nice, the restaurant also have best wines .we all had a brilliant time, with brilliant food, and brilliant staff we wish you all every success in this newly opened restaurant we will all be back to come and see you all again soon

My boyfriend and I checked out Divino Wine Bar last weekend and we were pleasantly surprised! Vinnie and Anissa were very friendly and helpful. It is definitely our new 'hang-out' place now. Highly recommended if you want great Italian food and fantastic wines - they have a great selection and the decor creates such a fab atmosphere for a romantic night out or just a cool place to hang out with friends.
