Great little spot, beautiful food and very generous portions. Lovely warm fluffy flatbread and hummus immediately offered as soon as you sit down.

Very good restaurant, delicious food and good value. We are new to the area and have already been twice. The aubergine starter and minced lamb skewers were especially delicious.

Fantastic place. Staff, food, freshness, taste, presentation. All outstanding and punches way above its weight with taste and service. Exceeds all expectations. Brilliant surprise Foregate looks like an “ordinary” coffee shop. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of our favourite go to places in Wanstead. The food's always reliably good and the service is always friendly and efficient. we feel lucky to have such a great place on our doorstep!!

Recientemente decorado es un espacio agradable escondido detrás de la parada de autobús y diferente de la miríada de costosos cafés en el pavimento de Wanstead. One of the most delicious pizzas Ive had in months. Everything was perfect. The staff are lovely and the pizzas exceptional. Trust me I’ve had expensive pizzas from other places in the area, and they don’t even come close to Thamesmead Dominos.

Greatly enjoyed a meal here with a colleague. Shared the large mixed grill which came with tasty hot bread before the main event which was both filling and tasty.

I normally get coffee, a veg sandwich and something sweet usually however Was quite disappointed to see the lady who was handling sandwiches, bread and cakes touching everything bare hands at first I was like it’s fine if her hands are washed in between each handle but she was not washing in between she went from touching all different meat/ veg sandwiches with her bare hands and then to picking up cake slices with her barehands then to a loaf of bread to be sliced. All that cross Contamination was too much to see and I don’t know how she was not wearing gloves with each item she is handling or being told by someone or to even use tongs to pick up food. As someone who eats halal but veg from a non halal restaurant can’t be eating here any longer but this also applies to vegetarians and if they cater to vegans too. Otherwise staff and the environment is lovely can’t fault them. I’m sadden the handling of food is not up to standard and can no longer eat here unless changes are made.

the portions were smaller than I normally get from a foil container. Only 3 Bjahia. I'd expected 4 for the price.

Really enjoyed the Christmas special menu at Dukes. Fantastic food, great flavour combinations and a lovely team who did a brilliant job even though an incredibly busy pre-Christmas Friday night. Well done to the kitchen team especially for such amazing food, thank you.

As ever, great value, good cafe food, huge selection with even bigger plates... Be hungry when you dine. Staff, as ever, bright and happy to help... Nothing seems too much trouble. Nice, covered outdoor area as well. The closest plate is a mixed grill, around £9 and Dad's was a small mixture.
