The best restaurants serving French food in Snaresbrook Redbridge London

One of our favourite go to places in Wanstead. The food's always reliably good and the service is always friendly and efficient. we feel lucky to have such a great place on our doorstep!!

This local restaurant offers superb food and service at a reasonable price. We visited for a birthday meal, and it is a short distance from Snaresbrook underground station. The venue has a welcoming bistro atmosphere and is bustling with locals. I enjoyed examining the old map of France and the classic photos from the 60s and 70s. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. Both the à la carte and prix fixe menus provide excellent value. I started with the terrine starter, which had great flavour and was well-seasoned. I had the poulet fermier with green beans, which was absolutely delicious. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and assisted me in choosing a side dish. I tasted my wife's coq au vin, which was packed with flavour and made for a hearty meal. We ended with an aperitif, and I particularly enjoyed the calvados, which were wonderfully warming for a cold winter's day. The server treated my wife to some birthday surprises that rounded off the evening as a pure delight. I highly recommend a visit for a pleasurable dining experience.
