Hour and half wait for cold sun standard food not impressed

Rice was good, however crispy chilli beef was horrible with watery sauce and no chilli, don't even get me started on the sweet and sour sauce, I was sour after paying £2.50 for a pot of flavourless orange water. This is the first and last time I will go.

It's one of the best curries we have ever had in a long while. Staying at the Premier Inn, we found Tandoori Nights while Ten Pin Bowling 🎳 on Google, so we ordered and collected on the way back to the hotel. We grabbed a bottle of wine from Best Supermarket up the road on Rosemary Road while it was being made. Fantastic flavour, good portions, and great service with a bit of banter with recommendations. We stay in Clacton a lot, so we now have our regular curry house. Tikka Masala, Lamb Balti, Potato Bombay Aloo, Rice and Nan £30 bargain.

Kebab cold, chip tasted as they where nade hours previous. Will not be using again. Shame, had enjoyed previously.

I have had breakfast twice here. Prices are modest and food was reasonably good. The first time i waited too long for my order to be cooked. They seemed to be cooking 1 at a time! 2nd timr was quick. Od come here again for breakfast but there is a nicer place aboout 400 meters back from the beach...

A lovely homely atmosphere and the tables are not all crammed together. The seats are really comfortable and the restaurant area is clean and bright. I have allergies to lots of food, including gluten, but still had multiple options to chose from. The staff were lovely and happy to help, they were really nice about helping with my food issues instead of the usual eye rolls, jokes or rudeness. This was much appreciated. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. We found this little gem in May and have been back on every trip to Walton on the Naze since.

Sadly we had the skate and it tasted so bad it could not be eaten. I asked the waiter to check and he said the kitchen said it came in fresh that day and was fine. The smell was so bad. No refund offered. I have never had skate before so did not know if that was the terrible taste and smell. Having looked it up it seems this strong amonia smell is ftom fresh fish but to get rid of this taste and smell it should be left for 24 hrs and soaked in milk etc. put me off for life and put me off returning. It was really pungent in taste and smell. A shame as I have been there quite a few times It cost a fair bit for something we only had a couple of mouthfuls. Sorry but we should of been offered a refund on this one meal. The other meals were fine. The owner will need to look at honest reviews and up his game with the chef and when a customer complains and just wants honesty, or he will risk losing his business.

Went for a second time had the meze for two and was the worst meze I have ever eaten in my life. Front of house were excellent, but the food was so overdone it felt like it came from Weeley crematorium.

Very helpful staff. Changed the drinks machine syrup straight away.

Was recommended to me and my family, I'll start with best bits, service was good and staff polite, atmosphere ok. Out of 6 adults and 3 children, my sons chicken was inedible and very dry, therefore he never ate it, and my chicken was hard and rubbery and bacon was basically all fat, so was left on plate....I had to stock up on my children's leftovers! I'm not one to complain and I did tell them at the table it was inedible and my brother in Law's girlfriend was the one who recommended them, so was a bit embarrassing.

Lovely hotel, they went out of their way to accommodate my dairy intolerance. Buying oat milk and porridge specifically for me. The room we had was a nice size with plenty of room to sit and get ready to go out. Harwich is a nice place to visit, we did the maritime trail unfortunately all the places we wanted to see were closed as it was early October which I was surprised by. I had assumed it would be after the October half term before things started to shut for the winter.

Once again had the lamb kebabs didn't disappoint 😋
