Ohhh Valley farm WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL ? The ents team have improved 100% since last year and it won't DRAG ME DOWN. Keeping the crowd in the room with entertainment, great with the kids all have fantastic voices when singing No more forcing people to do trip advisors and kicking out the door at 10pm with late night the hub mustic. Oh how the NIGHT CHANGES. Activies are worth it alone for the one on one customer service . Adam did spray tie Dye with a big group. Lottie with squishies building was able to get everyone the right plush even with the limited stock Kc with painting figures got everyone prepped and ready super fast and we had a lack of sitting around waiting was able to speak to each table evenly and super friendly.. PERFECT We saw them all on stage including CHLOE throughout this week. RIGHT NOW, they make YOU&I feel like the only one in the room I can't wait to see the ABBA Show and watch the team sing the BEST SONG EVER The only reason to visit valley farm is the entertainment team! Give me a month and I'll return ! 18*

came here form the 19th to the 26th off July the hole place has went down hill! stay in 811 we paid extra to get early check inn at 1pm got to the caravan the caravan was dirty and the fridge was broken had to wait ages to get a new fridge didn’t work so all our food was bad we manage to get a working fridge the next day thankfully shout to Brian the maintenance guy the mangers didn’t seem to care at all! all they did was offer us £50 food vouchers and that’s it, the couple off day later we found some cocaine in the draws with tin I think the housekeeping apartment all need to be returned how to clear and check all the draws especially the supervises who checks everything it’s like all the mangers works there just brush everything under the carpet!! and don’t care that we paid loads off money for a nice week away!! The clubhouse/restaurant team was nice and chatty ( I don’t know anyone’s name as they don’t wear name badges) the activities women was amazing and really nice and funny! one thing what really needs to improve on is the entertainment! As someone decided to put Lewis Capaldi on Saturday night! When Saturday night is a party he should off been on the Sunday night! when it’s all chill out and put someone upbeat on Saturday not depression songs on Saturday night whoever organ that needs to go on a Course! I think!!! or u need a new show Organiser!!! The bar team need to Focus on the I orders more as a couple off time they forgot to bring other food over! In the clubhouse and drink! and there was a lot off people going to the bar saying u never being out drink over! and try and make out it’s the Customers fault and make out we are lying! so DONT Order on the app!! I think you need more staff as the staff bar staff was going backwards and forwards from the clubhouse to the restaurant! So it was sometimes a long wait to get served! but apart from that we had fun and made our own fun as a family! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone tho a lot need to be improve on especially now it’s the middle off the season you would off thought as it the middle off the season now everyone will know what they are doing but they don’t!

Very nice place and good entertainment. However does not get 5 starts because there is not enough to do on site it needs more actives.

Emilee provided excellent service tonight! After ordering on the app our drinks hit the table within minutes! Always presented with a smile and no issues ever given! Emilee is an asset to the team! Keep up the great work Emilee! ❤️

Proper Chilled out sexy vibes, Great service from Joe, top geeza brilliant at hes job. Good was banging had a rib meal which hit the spot. Been here all week going home tomorrow and couldn’t agree more with the customer service, made sure our food was up to standard and made our drinks quickly. God tier of a holiday would come again.

Wow! The entertainment this year is much much better than last year! As a regular holiday maker it’s lovely to see the improvements all round the park! The food was lovely! Reasonably priced too! The entertainment all weekend was amazing! Chloe has got a great team! James was full of energy! Lottie did a great Cabaret set! And the wonderful Kaci was full of energy a real shining star! Never failed to make me smile! My kids loved them all especially Kaci 😊 Thank you to those who made our stay so special!

Food was really really good you can order from your table all the staff are really amazing so good to have a laugh with at the bar.

Amazing pool day for the 75th anniversary this weekend! Took my 11 and 5 year old. £9.50 wristband and 11am-6pm constant activities. From the water jets, the zones, water walkers and even a big pool party at the end-Kids loved it. MASSIVE SHOUT OUT to MIA and IZZY they were on the go all day working so hard, in the pool with the kids loving life-It’s lovely to see young girls actually enjoying their jobs. Both the girls were so helpful, friendly and fun to spend the day with-they def made it more enjoyable!! We will def be back for more fun this summer! The food was good and the sun was shining-perfect day! ☀️

The Boathouse restaurant is fantastic, the food is amazing and the staff so friendly and professional we have enjoyed Breakfast, lunch and dinner today we were served by Jess who was both personable and very helpful.

Stayed here for 3 nights and the first night went here for food. We ordered and drinks took forever, when they came the slush had to be sent back as no one could even drink from it as was to icy. Food took an hour to come and everyone's came in bits and bobs. Defo over priced for the portion sizes. Ordered a sharer dessert and only gave us one portion and had to wait another 15 mins for the rest. Decided to try breakfast was quicker service but again portion sizes are not worth the price

Roast dinner in the boathouse was very nice. Cheif today was Colin. He was very helpful due to roast beef not being on the menu but was being served today

First opinions on the caravan, was very clean and tidy. Took family to the dance show for my daughter and the atmosphere was amazing! All staff very nice and welcoming, but a massive thank you to Cameron and Joe who made us feel at home, and made my daughter laugh with unicorn horns on their heads lol. Very hard working staff thank you for a brilliant night!

Well what can I say.... absoloutey awful holiday, I don't really know where to start. The caravan was absolutely disgusting, upon arriving from a 4 hour journey we checked in and needed a toilet in our caravan yet to our disappointment there was no toilet roll provided so my son was sat on the toilet waiting for toilet roll from the shop. NO BIN BAGS, NO OVEN TRAYS. COB WEBS ALL OVER THE CARAVAN. DUST IN EVERY CORNOR, MOULD ON THE FLOOR. BEER CANS LEFT ON TOP OF WADROBE. WINDOWS LEAKED. HEADBORD WAS LEAKING MAKING PILLOWS WET!!!! AND THE MAIN ONE IS WHO SPRAYS THE GRASS WITH BRIGHT BLUE STUFF RUINING ALL OUR SHOES, AND LEAVING US WITH GREEN STAINED FEET THAT DOESNT WASH OFF. WITH 3 STAFF LAUGHING AT ME WHEN I TOLD THEM. ALL IN ALL I WILL DEFINTLEY NOT BE RETURNING. WASTE OF JOURNEY AND WASTE OF MONEY.

I have another great Hoilday down valley farm holiday park in clacton Saw some great entertainment enjoyed the great weather and it was great meeting the new staff that always do an amazing job already can’t wait for the next time maybe this October or Halloween or next year with my partner And next year or this October for Halloween hopefully with some of my friends from work Always A Star Hoilday at Valley Farm Hoilday Park Clacton

went for dinner it was very bad peas were cold the rest was under cooked it just what i expected from this park staying for a week was like staying i a shed the shower leaked all over the floor .the tv kept turning off the smell of pee was overpowering if they give you blueberry hill i pity you the wifi kept going down and you will hit your head when in bed its a nightmere please watch it

Had such a lovely time with my family over the weekend. Food was amazing as well as the service that we received; I recommend the chicken and rib combo was on point and the wait was minimal. My kids loved the entertainment especially the magic show. I cannot wait to return the summer, and make more memories.

Waited over 40 mins for sausage and chips missed the entertainment and the service was very poor. Will not be getting food on side again

BEYOND rude reception staff, the caravan was beyond disgusting! Photos attached. You get told they do not accept noise that’s laughable yes you will get noise but trying to sleep well if you call it that from 3 am sleeping in the middle of a festival would’ve been quieter. once you arrive they don’t want to know your concerns. Basically “ we’ve got your money now off you go” We have been coming to many parkdean resorts 4-5 times a year for over 10 years we’ve never been spoken to like we were that weekend. Groups of teenagers running and screaming at 3am kicking bins slamming the basketball court door then you think it goes quiet nope started up again just before 6am Had a shower the back up of sewage smell was tank. I sat on the floor as it was cleaner will not he returning. Save your money go somewhere else

Texas and Jack and Sebb Mercury were brilliant and I fully enjoyed another great holiday on half term week in October I am coming back next year and years to come after that because this will always be a great place to keep coming back to. Had a another great stay and I know I will have a great next year and the following years after that Keep up the great work that everyone does down there  A star  Also great work from John,Chloe,James and the bar staff as always keep up the great work

Went here for a quick family break Van was super nice. Staff were amazing. Food..... the fish and chip shop LARGE portions. Cooked to order so super fresh. The restaurant staff were outstanding due toy daughter being lactose Intolerant. So looking forward to returning when...

Just come back from a weekend at Valley Farm Clacton. We hired our caravan with a 3rd party company called 2C holidays, I have never hired with them before so didn’t know what to expect as their prices were good value but our caravan exceeded...

My family and I have just departed after a 4 night break at Valley Farm. The caravan was lovely, one of the best we’ve stayed in - big, bright, airy, exceptionally clean and a good amount of plates etc. The en-suite was a lovely feature....

The troupers were brilliant and couldn't do enough, just wish there was a comedian as advertised on board on night instead of all singing acts but on the other hand the singers were brilliant. The Trouper Chloe had a lovely voice and really got everyone...

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Food well prepared and presented in a pleasant environment.Staff are attentive without being overbearing.

Loved last nights soul & Motown performance from Chloe!! Can’t wait to come back to valley farm!!!!!

Visited here while on holiday for a breakfast treat, we all had the large breakfast and although thought it a tad expensive we all enjoyed it. Staff where friendly and helpful and place was clean.

The young friendy and efficient staff make this place. The food was fine and 25 per cent discount happy hour on booze was a real bonus and got the weekend off to a great start. Ellie behind the bar went the extra mile to ensure...

We had 3 evening meals and breakfasts whilst staying on the caravan site and all of them were great. staff were friendly and food was hot and freshly cooked well done to all the staff.

Over an hours wait is not an acceptable time. Though quite nice when it did, not as hot as it should have been.

I was completely shocked when they served me a pitcher of this st the bar as a barmaid myself I know what a daiquiri should look and taste like and that definitely was not what was served avoid the cocktails at all cost...on complaining the barman looked at me as if I was mad

We go to valley farm at least twice a year and gradually it has deteriorated. It is really near my In laws and due to bad news we needed to be there. We booked a nearly new caravan with heating. Got into caravan which was for six of us and the smell of cigarettes hit us and as we don’t smoke and children were with us it was so bad. We went straight to reception and nice staff they explained that all caravans were non smoking and that they can’t watch every caravan. They supplied us with air freshener. We asked to pay extra for upgrades none available. So had to put up with it as we needed to be there. Next only enough bedding for four people. Back to reception. Then we were cooking breakfast and only four plates. We found that a foul smell was coming from the dirty sink. We had to keep plugs in sink to try and keep the smell which we thought was bad tobacco smell at first The smell came through to bathroom sinks. When you let water out of kitchen sink it came up in the shower. We did not need this when things were bad at in laws The site was not really busy. We had to leave Sunday as we were all feeling unwell with the fumes from the sinks. Surly the cleaners must smell the caravan. Site manager needs to put things in order to stop the deterioration and this will make regular customers come back We went on the 12/10/18 for three days not. Caravan no 66.

Stayed at this caravan park for4nights on a deal for£79. Found the site pleasant but didn’t visit the pool or clubhouse. The caravan was sufficient for a cheap deal and was quite new. Bedding was provided and the bed was comfy. Only thing was the cleaning wasn’t good. The oven was filthy. I would stay again and the area is nice, Clacton-on-Sea isn’t my scene though.

Overall the holiday was ok had a few issues with the food and the lack of staff around! My horrible food experiences where when the chef John and Louise were not about tbh I’d say they are the only ones who know how to cook and are lovely and friendly and nothing is to much for them x the bad days where when neither of them where about . the food had hairs in was cold the eggs were like rubber and the quality of cooking was shocking thank god u have John and Louise is all I can say !!! There was not much to do for kids until the evenings magic shows games and karaoke is needed to make it more fun I’d say xx I’d never do half bourd there again

I recently stayed on park and I must say was very welcoming from all the staff including jay on the bar nothing was to much trouble for him and made sure the drinks kept flowing. The pool was extremely clean as well as the grounds will be coming back very soon.

We were staying on the park so ate in the restaurant on our first night. The food was awful & very over priced for what it was. There was no cutlery or napkins it the trays and no staff to ask so we had to wait till the food arrived meaning the food was getting cold by the time the cutlery arrived.We had....Kids fish & chips - was very overcooked, the batter was so hard it was difficult for an adult to cut it.Adults burger - looked lovely but was so greasy that that was all you could tasteDirty chili fries with a caesar side salad - the chili was very wet & sloppy, the salad was 4 lettuce leaves, 3 sweaty slivers of cheese & a squirt of sauce Curry was nice but was a bit blandSave your money and go to the hungry horse roaring donkey a short walk up the road which was good food & excellent value for money

Well what can i say i have stayed at many cravan sites and this is by far the best very clean and very exquisite we was served by this gentleman jay he sureley knows how to bring great customer service best bar tender by far i would definetly visit again

Excellent service from all staff especially jay at the bar!! Kids had a lovely holiday. Loads of activities for all ages and good location to local area and beach. Nice break with kids and cosy caravans

We had a meal here and were served by a really friendly, helpful young lady called Hattie. She went out of her to be polite and we really enjoyed ourselves. Great food, served quickly in a busy peak season holiday destination

Me and my family went and had a holiday at Clacton on C at Valley farm holiday park The place is absolutely brilliant and asked for more just like to say thank you very much to the chef call John put this an absolutely brilliant dinner and I recommend to go and have dinner when he’s on

We went with 2 kids (6 &7) and had a fantastic time! The staff go out of there way to ensure the kids are having a brilliant holiday. The restaurant is well kept and clean and the food was lovely and so reasonably priced! I would recommend the carvery! Would definately return!

We had a lovely family holiday at Valley Farm. Lots of family fun was had especially the activities around the swimming pool.Which included quiz time, competitions and party dances.

We arrived Monday 23rd July till Friday 27th as always staff on reception were very friendly and helpful, caravan was lovely and clean.

The check in process was minimal, staff are polite but they seem unsure when asking additional information. The fish and chip shop is very expensive and not worth the money, make sure the order is checked carefully before leaving the shop. Bingo night is fun but very expensive for the books but worth the money if you win. Other visitors are friendly enough.

Me and my friend came here for the weekend with our three children (2,3 + 5) check in was easy and was shown a map to where our Caravan was. On our arrival at the caravan we was so happy to have a terrace with chairs and table to relax on after children were in bed inside the caravan was lovely tidy, clean and with enough space for all of us :)

I first ordered acsteak baguette , but no steak and no game but the sausages are delightful. Chips are lovely too. Very friendly staff although not many of them. So staffing levels are an issue as well.

Worst service I have ever had and hardly anything on the menu available. Food was cold or had items missing. The wrong menus were on display and the attitude of staff and management was "Couldn't care less".

Had breakfast here every morning during our stay at Valley Farm. The breakfast was quite tasty and not too bad a price, however, sometimes the portions were a bit small. Service wasn't too bad but there was a long wait one morning.

We both had the value meals offer smaller menu but a very good saving! We chose sausage mash peas and gravy it was lovely and very filling we sat in the conservatory area place was clean and so was the toilets,so we couldn't fault the restaurant we also had the two mini breakfasts offer also well cooked and tasty,we know the staff work hard here and we would like to thank everyone for making our holiday special we have booked for next year already keep up the good work !

We had a few meals here and they were okay. Our worst experience was in the Fish & Chippery next door. It must be run by the same people. When we saw that it was only open on a Friday and Saturday, we looked forward to ending our weeks stay with a fish and chip supper. We gave our order and waited, and waited and waited some more. The food was all going through to next doors restraunt. The other customers started to get angry, and after 45 minutes we gave up and demanded our money back. Totally ridiculous situation.

Good value break for a group of friends, stayed for two nights, caravan was nice quality with plenty of space. Pool was ok and bar reasonable.

Me explico afiliado no beber té o café café y así 1 comprar un chocolate caliente. Me dijeron que no importa aún tengo que té o café para elección oferta de desayuno y compra chocolate caliente por separado. Así que tuve dos cafés y la izquierda 1. El chocolate caliente en £2. 80 era asqueroso y frío cuando se quejaron dijeron, eso es lo que viene. Me tomó años (35 minutos) antes de la comida llegó y fue el mejor! ! Odio luke huevos y todo estaba preparado viscoso mal.

Good tasty holiday food. Very helpful in assisting us navigate the menu for a child with a nut allergy. Very comprehensive allergy guide. Very friendly and helpful, but service was a little slow. Perhaps a little under-staffed as all employees were working hard.

Why four stars you have changed the sausages since last year ! They were pale and not very tasty my feeling you have gone for cheap sorry didn't work went else where for breakfast after day one,staff very friendly though and quick to clean up after we had finished,tea was lovely and the rest of the breakfast was ok but to be honest coming back again soon hope you have changed the sausages when we come back. Did mention it to the staff who said couldn't comment wasn't here last year, wish you all a great summer good health,my comment to the manager taste the sausages ha ha tell me what you. Think!

Stayed at Valley Farm for a long weekend. Was here last Summer, what a difference this year - amazing service and fab menu. Longest wait for food was about 15/20 mins. Suitable for children and good choice for them too. I'm a vegetarian and lots of choices for me.Would recommend - will definitely eat here again.

My husband and I went to the restaurant for something to eat after a busy day shopping. He went to order the food and we were sat waiting for about 45 minutes, he went back to the bar to find out where our food was and they said it wouldn't be long. I ordered cottage pie with vegetables and my husband ordered scampi and chips. When my food finally arrived it was stone cold so my husband went and warmed it up in the microwave that they had available. His food never turned up, apparently there was record of it on the till (even though they were ordered at the same time). So I shared my cottage pie with him. Not what you expect from a not so busy restaurant.

Spent a few nice at Valley Farm stayed a few times lovely park close to beach and town centre. Accommodation was lovely caravan spotless very high standard even had complimentary tea and coffee and chocolates on all our pillows.. had visit from James accommodations manager welcoming us and making sure all was ok lovely touch.. Giving the park a 3 star simple because I found the Holiday sales team to be rude and abrupt other then that all good

We arrived at 12 midday and our caravans were ready we went to our caravan and discovered it was at the back of the site where as my daughters caravan was at the front of the site and we were to far away from each other so we went to reception and said we had booked for next to each other and straight away the receptionist changed our caravan for one much closer than the original one it was no bother to her and she was very helpful. Once we were in our vans we had booked top of the range they were very clean and bedding was fresh and clean, the central heating worked well and the showers were lovely and hot. In the restaurant the food was lovely and the bar and cafe area very clean and trendy we had a lovely time and will book again. Only down side is you have to park on the roads and walk all your suitcases and belongings to your caravan as you are not allowed to park on grass so that was a bit difficult as had buggys and baby's to carry as grass was very very waterlogged

Awful food tasted greasy was burnt and cold and overpriced for what it was. Very slap dash not very clean either

We have stayed at Valley Farm on numerous occasions and LOVE it. There's entertainment every night, an indoor and outdoor pool AND a restaurant. If you didn't want to, or I fact couldn't- you really don't have to leave the complex. The amusement arcades will keep the kids happy all day and there's bingo which will keep the adults busy while the kids are safe in the amusements. During the busy seasons, I suggest getting into the clubhouse FOR Bingo, even if you don't want to play it, to ensure that you get a decent table for the evening Entertainment.....those people work extremely hard to keep us lot happy!!The Beach isn't too far away, although it will be too long to stroll to; but I'm sure you can call a cab to take you to save on trying to find a parking space

The food is over-priced and average. Upon arrival at the site we went to get something to eat. For a family of four it cost over fifty pounds.

Thought We'd give this a bash as friends were going and didn't want to miss out on the fun, well.......firstly we got there at 11am couldn't check in till 4pm, so decided to go restaurant to feed the kids which as we walked in stunk of stale beer and pi**. While ordering a drink I struggled to move from one end of bar to the other without my feet being. Superglued to the floor with all the beer and alcohol residue that lied beneath. Once food arrived nearly an hour later it was something I'd find in Aldi's. Tasteless, warm, and the old let's stick a salad lead on it to make it look pretty. Once fed sat around till 4.10pm to then ring reception to ask about the availability of our top of the range caravan. Their response "it's all ready" bearing in mind I had to call them. We got the keys and off we went.............upon entering, I can only describe as the caravan to smell like someone had died and left to fester. The seating area was stained and the floors were absolutely filthy also there were cobwebs everywhere, the TV did not work properly and the toilet made me wrench with the smell of ammonia from the p***. Day 1 was mainly spent cleaning up to a liveable standard. Once this was done I began to unpack, as I put toiletries away I noticed there was a huge dip in the bathroom where I thought I was going to fall through, again something I have ignore but anyone 15st of heavier may have an issue. We then went decided to shower all the kids to go out......GUESS WHAT no hot water. This was the final straw, I proceeded to the reception to stress my anger. Again Tracey, the accommodation manager comes to observe my issues which she asks that they will provide sheets for the stained and filthy seats and also we are not staying in a Hilton so what would you expect! I would also like to add the toilets in the entertainment area were just unacceptable . I took my daughter to the loo and the smell of s*** was clearly overwhelming, as I walked into the cubicle, plain to see was a lump of s*** and the whole toilet covered in p***. I spoke to the bar staff and said this needs sorting as my kids shouldn't have to walk into that. Day 2 nighttime. 12am people sitting outside playing football and singing up until 2am is not ideal. If I had to be nice and say something positive about this horrific establishment i would have to say that..........haha actually can not think of anything! Please please anyone thinking of going here, avoid this place like the plague. I can not stress enough. I have wasted £370 although I will try to get some compensated as this is unacceptable. Please take this advise and don't do what I did as it was a huge mistake. Absolute s****hole

I would never go here again found was very poor quality and not value for money. Take a 10 minute walk up the road to roaring donkey instead for a better value meal

Staff very friendly nothing to much trouble breakfast two for £7 pound available all 7 days which includes tea coffee saves cooking and we reckon good value for money yes if you venture out of the camp you can find these deals cheaper if you go into clacton,which is approx twenty minutes walking or ten minutes by car,ideal if it's nice weather,but I would like to wish the staff and all the restaurant bar workers good luck in the summer ahead of you think you are going to be busy as caravan park almost fully booked !

Although this has gone up a pound since last year food was great! sausage bacon egg beans piece of toast and a coffee each £7 for two breakfasts, it was hot and served quickly the staff very friendly,the blond girl with a family sorry didn't catch your name but thanks for the chats early in the morning when serving us a credit to park resorts,keep up the good work from chef to the servers a big thank you for making our weekend break special be back in september iv been coming to this park for 48 years! The only thing that hasn't changed is the stream running through the park! And my grandchildren loved it

An excellent place to eat, a wide variety at reasonable prices. The kids loved it, and we couldn't complain either.

Staff were friendly and the food is ok, nachos were very basic and the burger was like you would buy from Iceland, lager at £3.50 is cheaper than what I pay where I live but still a bit steep for a family restaurant, the chip shop was also cheaper than what I usually pay and the portions were quite large, one big disappointment was they closed at 22:00 because they weren't busy.

Boring food, service rubbish, takes forever what more can I say, slow service, messy tables, cutlery unclean, unfriendly

Had evening meal in the Boathouse bar and restaurant, and the food was very good value and the staff there really friendly and chatty, especially Zara and Charlie. Evening entertainment was also very good. Will be returning again ;)

The restaurant was nice and clean.There were lots of special offers and the food we had was nice and enough of it.The only slight was the price of drinks but this is the same everywhere

Well nearly 4 quid for a pint, nearly 3 quid for coke, oh and special deal double house 3 quid ?!!! I can buy and bottle for 3.99 for 10 glass double vodka, what do you think we made of money? I just felt like you rob our money !! Now with the food had breakfast there yep very pricey for a small fry up and hour wait, chip shop look very dirty and the chip was frozen not fresh at all made me be sick, yep 2 pound something for a hand full of chip was p''s take! Never buying anything from there might as well go to tesco and buy the drink and bring it in save a lot of money !
