Terrible attitude to towards customers. Very strange vibe if you have never been before. Would not surprise me if you had to join a cult to drink here. The old man and lady who run this place are just very strange people and will make you feel very un welcomed. Avoid at all costs to be honest, drink in the anchor instead they are very welcoming and just normal. This place is not normal.
Unique little café with friendly staff. Two of us had the breakfast and one had a toasted sandwich. The breakfast was very good, free range eggs and delicious chipolatas sausages, which we were told were made by the butcher over the road. The toastie, brie and cranberry, was served with a little salad and locally made crisps was also excellent. Will go again.
An absolute must visit if travelling through Suffolk! My partner and I went for brunch yesterday and it was easily the best start to our day! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the perfect balance of a cozy, yet spacious feel. The staff were all incredibly friendly, thanks to Lucy for serving us with the biggest smile!
We didn’t brave the outdoor seating as the wind was a little crisp, but it is absolutely beautiful, and I imagine perfect for enjoying a meal while soaking up the sunshine! BEST OF ALL it’s pet-friendly, which is a huge plus for us as my partner’s staffy loves to adventure with us! The staff spoiled him with biscuits, cuddles and a lot of attention!
As for the food - WOW! It was absolutely delicious! Every bite was full of flavour and perfectly presented - Chef Mark blew us away. The menu had a wonderful variety, and I could tell everything was made with the freshest local ingredients. The coffee was just as good (we can personally recommend the flat white!) it was smooth, tasty and the perfect complement to our brunch.
Overall, this café is a hidden gem! We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!!

What can I say.... Attentive, presentable staff, great atmosphere and feel to this superb restaurant, Food that possessed an amazing taste, texture, appearance, and aroma, and satisfying in the mouth, the full neurological experience!
The owl and pussycat is such a great pub. The staff are lovely and make you feel like family. The food is great and the pool table always kept in a great condition. Favourite and best pub in Felixstowe
The ambiance was warm and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing meal. The service was exceptional—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend the The Bell Hotel Cheeseburger, which was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. The Cod and Crab Fishcake was a delightful start, and the dessert, Baileys Cheesecake, was the perfect sweet ending. Every aspect of the meal, from the presentation to the quality of ingredients, was top-notch. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
