Love having tea or coffee or ice cream here overlooking the sea. Easy to park and friendly service from Steve and his wife. My mum and dad love it too.

We were recommended this restaurant for its food quality but was very disappointed to say the least. Entering was dark and uninviting and was dirty. It smelled awful. The restaurant was nothing like the picture shown on the website. The walls were a light brick effect made of cardboard that were loose and hanging off. The chair backs were also cardboard painted white. It looked cheap and nasty. The prawn toast were greasy along with the other starters. The rice looked like, and tasted like it was 3 days old, starchy and nasty looking. The only good point was the waiter, whom was the only person serving, he was very polite and welcoming but the atmosphere and quality of the food was shocking. NEVER AGAIN

Always a good watering hole, service is always very warm and friendly. Fresh fruit and cheese scones are always good as is the cheese and crackers board that's great for sharing and plentiful. Clientele can be loud and offensive especially out the front if your looking for a quiet outing with your family. Most of the time it's a really nice place to be. It would be nice if the staff could be more observant with some of the visitors and the number of animals not controlled some of the time by owners with continual barking mostly at the weekend.

Excellent food, freshly cooked and an excellent balance of ingredients. The staff and locals couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. A very relaxing atmosphere, and the 🐕🐶 keep the floor immaculately clean!

We came in on a Sunday, looking forward to a classic roast — only to be told after we sat down that they’d run out. Not ideal, but we decided to give the burgers a try instead. Big mistake. What we got was honestly shocking. The patties were burnt, the cheese wasn’t even melted, and the buns hadn’t seen a toaster. Basic stuff, completely missed. It was the kind of meal that makes you wonder if there’s actually a chef in the kitchen — or just someone winging it with a microwave and a lighter. There’s no excuse for this kind of sloppy execution, especially on simple food. When you can’t even get a burger right, something’s seriously wrong. Won’t be back.

The food here is just amazing. Always cooked to perfection and so fresh. This is one of the best Chinese takeaways locally, we love the food here. The staff are very friendly and efficient, I would totally recommend A Taste Of China to anyone looking for an extremely, excellent Chinese Takeaway. Without a doubt our favourite❤️

Best waffles in town! The options of fillings and extras you can have, the sky really is the limit! We’ve had many a toastie here as well. Welcoming and cosy place to come to after a brisk walk up along the seafront. Really hearty food with big mugs of tea. Very friendly people. We’ll be back!

Piping hot delicious fish and chips. Very clean establishment, efficient and warm service, fish was extremely fresh and the batter was lovely and thin, flavoursome and with a lovely crunch. Highly recommend.

Visited Felixstowe today. So glad we chose to stop here. Really enjoyed both the Raspberry and Banana milkshakes we chose. Also the Bakewell, and Coconut cake’s both really hit the spot.

Finally returned after a couple years to find a lean to shelter and several improvements. Table service very good and the range and quality of food top gun.
