First Chinese takeaway I've tried since moving to Leiston. Really tasty food, fresh, hot and served with a smile! I'd definitely order from here again 👌

We were visiting the area and stopped here to collect a takeaway, so glad we did! Food was fantastic! And we received our order within 10mins of ordering. Loved the complimentary prawn crackers and spring rolls - thank you! 100% would recommend!

Had to wait ages and when eventually got meal it had all been burnt tasted awful spoilt the Chinese urge...jf U get me 🤬

This was our first visit to A Taste Of China Chinese takeaway and we were very impressed. Really easy to order over the phone and a quick response to pick up time. Reasonable prices and the food was so fresh and tasty. This will be our new regular Chinese takeaway and we will recommend to other people. Lovely food and very friendly happy lady serving us.

So angry ordered £48 takeaway then when got it back Dish wash missing then they said come back get it and tried to charge my daughter for it when she went back. Awful place cash only not surprised! Filthy knock off robbers.

new to the area so thought i would try out a local business to support them and try the cuisine. to my disappointment they over charged for my meal and missed a dish out. when i retuned to collect the missing dish, they tried to charge me although i had already paid. super upset with this. i have been told not to come here again.

Best Chinese anywhere. Food is amazing and so much flavour. Sometimes there is a wait for food even when you pre order but believe me, its well worth the wait.

Best chinese in area, great fresh tasting food, cooked to order, decent price and compared to other Chinese takeaways in Leiston this one was cooked on time. Brilliant place and so glad i found it.

The last two meals have not been up to the usual standard. Not sure if they have a different chef but we’ve been left disappointed in the quality of food lately, we’re going to try a different takeaway next time .

Ordered off the menu and got charged just over £50 instead of £39. Was my 12 year old son that went otherwise I would of refused to pay. Never again !!

Love the mixed Thai veg curry red or green both moreish with plain boiled rice.

Tried this place for the first time last night and it was every bit as good as other reviewers have suggested.

Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time! Called up and told I would collect at 7 got there at 7 massive Que but food was ready. Will definitely be returning

Handy for Cake and Ale caravan site. Food good and good sized portions. It was very generous of them to add in free prawn crackers and vegetable spring rolls but I abhor food waste and we struggled to eat what we had ordered and so had to throw away the extras.

We travel for around 20 mins to get this, there are two others locally but none compare. Great portion sizes too.

Good food but 50 minute wait for takeaway after being told wait would be 25 minutes and then being asked to pay again when already paid upon ordering.

All dishes were very fresh and tasty. Large portions. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Called order through and was ready on time. This will now be our new ‘local’ Chinese takeaway whilst we’re staying in Darsham.

We were previously happy with this place but recently the owner has put her teenage son on answering phone calls and bringing out orders and to be blatant, my cat could do a better job. We will not be returning here. To the owner: you need more help on the front desk and a bigger kitchen; otherwise be accurate about your timescales and stop taking orders when you cannot fulfill them. To all reading: Don't believe the order prep times stated, they are very inaccurate. And check everything is there when you do eventually get it.

Had a takeaway on Saturday evening and could not fault any of it. It was all very tasty, good size portions and a few freebies frown it, will certainly be back. They also have a very good covid safe system for paying and picking up the meal.

Portion sizes are decent. Quick and efficient service. They literally run to and from the kitchen to get your order.

Whilst on holiday in Thorpeness we wanted to have a Chinese take away. We found three to choose. Despite a limited number of reviews this takeaway was far ahead of the others. A short 5 minute drive away from our cottage for the week, we found the food very tasty, hot and a free gift of a bottle of fizzy pop and prawn crackers. The crispy duck was delicious and highly recommended.

Placed a large order which arrived all correct. Service was friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food although the curries weren’t the best we have had but still a good choice of takeaway for us

Staying locally on holiday from South Wales .Based on reviews we decided to have a takeaway meal .BEST Chinese food I have tasted - wish I didn’t live so far away !

Randomly tried this Chinese takeaway. Excellent food for a takeaway. Food was not overly greasy as I sometimes find with Chinese. Chinese is not always my first choice for a takeaway so was pleasantly surprised with this. Would defiantly buy from there again.

Having had enough of my own cooking, as an Anniversary treat we ordered our Chinese takeaway from Taste of China and it was definitely worth the wait, as they had not been opened during lockdown. But this is their first week of re-opening and it was delicious, fresh hot food. What more can you ask for. Full stomach, happy with the selection on offer. Thank you.

I work in Aldringham and find it very handy to pick up a takeaway on my way home, I have never been disappointed with any of my takeaway meals

I've had a couple of takeaways from here recently. I've eaten in many Chinese restaurant over the years, and had my fair share of takeaways. Believe me, this is the best Chinese takeaway in Leiston, and it's consistently good. Worth a try, I'll definitely be going back

We are here every week, our family visit because of this Chinese. definitely recommend the salt and pepper chicken wings!!!

On holiday here in Suffolk. Did the usual internet search and read the reviews , ordered via the web and turned up. Excellent friendly service. Free spring rolls in our order as well as some crackers. The food was just as excellent. We will certainly be using this excellent take away again..

Based on reviews here we decided to try this small takeaway whilst on holiday & were very happy with our choice. Large portions, very fresh tasting & not too gloopy (had Garlic Chilli Chicken & Satay Chicken with large fried rice), quick service from a delightful friendly lady behind counter! Would definitely use again if in the area!! (Update)...& during our stay in the area we did use again, TWICE more! Ordered different items from menu & enjoyed everything...can’t wait to return!!!

Ordered from this takeaway while on holiday. We had soups, rice, beef with ginger and spring onion, and chicken cashew nuts. All fairly good.

Visited on 17 August. What a great find. Without doubt the best takeaway by far in Leiston. We have tried others. Very friendly service, real quality dishes and generous portions. Probably among the best takeaways we have experienced and I mean from a total of hundreds over the years. Will be back on future visits to the area without hesitation.

Was staying locally and came accross this takeaway. Very fresh and a great choice on the menu. Best phone your order ahead of time otherwise you may have to wait 30 mins or so. Our order qualified for free spring rolls, prawn crackers and a large bottle of drink. A unexpected bonus.

This is truly the best Chinese takeaway you will find for miles around! Every dish is so full of flavour and there's plenty of it! They don't fill out their dishes with onion like most takeaways I know! Absolutely superb! Highly recommended!

The best Chinese in the local area and there are plenty...... Very fresh and not greasy like most... Ordered online and was waiting for me hot when I arrived... Definitely recommend very impressed

Spotted this on TA and decided to drop by. So glad we did. Great selection to choose from and our Crispy Duck was very good. Other choices equally good (squid, sweet & sour chicken and mushroom chow mein) and they very kindly threw in some free spring rolls and prawn crackers. Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended to locals and visitors alike.

Big portions, good value & lovely quality

Great food and good set meals for price, with a set meal for 4 usually anywhere else you’d get 2 rice pots to share between but here you get 4 full rice pots and always get an extra little something for free and large drink bottle too. Great for the family.
