The food is fine. Nothing special - very bland. Not worth the money. The atmosphere is horrible. The owner created a very hostile environment.

Do not go here, nothing is cooked fresh. All the food was greasy and cooked a long time ago in old oil (starter), The duck meat was served cold and tasted very old, main course was a bowl of sugar, last but least the rice was made a very long time ago, most properly the day before, placed in a container water added to the rice and placed in a microwave ,cooked until mush, if the chef can't not cook rice ,what the hell as a Chinese person there's a big problem ,I have never been so disappointed with my night out, grease ,old food ,mushy rice. If this is for you ,then go and try your self you will not be disappointed, while I am about it, the men's toilet dirty no paper, from the out side in need of decorating ,you enter the place and it smells like you are in a council toilet, the décor is like a child had built it, not like advertised ,so you can only wonder what the kitchen is like, may be the council should be looking into this ,I cant call it a restaurant ,so i will call it the place, I think that the council would be shocked at there practices of food keeping

Serving staff were very rude. We had a party booked and because of an incident on the orwell bridge some couldnt physically get to the restaraunt. The waiter then started throwing his toys out the pram even tho 13 out of 16 made it. He immediately ruined the party vibe and talked down to me in front of guests in the restaraunt who were total strangers to me. The food was not ok and ive had alot better elsewhere. And waiting for over an hour for our main to come out just tipped it over the edge for us. The beer was also served frozen from the bottle. I hate putting up a bad review on places but this night was ruined by the staff. I wont be coming back

We were recommended this restaurant for its food quality but was very disappointed to say the least. Entering was dark and uninviting and was dirty. It smelled awful. The restaurant was nothing like the picture shown on the website. The walls were a light brick effect made of cardboard that were loose and hanging off. The chair backs were also cardboard painted white. It looked cheap and nasty. The prawn toast were greasy along with the other starters. The rice looked like, and tasted like it was 3 days old, starchy and nasty looking. The only good point was the waiter, whom was the only person serving, he was very polite and welcoming but the atmosphere and quality of the food was shocking. NEVER AGAIN

Great food at very reasonable price. Waiter explained all aspects of menu and we found his advice spot on. A very relaxed and enjoyable evening

I was greeted by the front of house who immediately told us the dishes that were re available. Me being me and In a joking manner stated ohreally this is what we came for!! Immediately the front of house told me were no longer welcome and couldn’t serve us. We were a group of 3 1 male and 2 females. I tried to resolve re situation and apologised unreservedly even tho not knowing what I had done wrong. This was only met with more aggression and negativity leading to me leaving the restaurant and them serving the 2 females I was with separately. I still do not understand what I did wrong but was met with aggressive behaviour and constant refusal to serve me. No reasoning whatsoever. Absolutely poor service and no admittance of taking a comment wrong. Totally humiliated in front of my friends considering the comment however I nice t being jovial Absolutely disgusting service despite eating here twice before and instigating karaoke style humour within the restaurant.

The waiter was amazing he made our evening. We booked for 6.30 our main course arrived at 8. Food was nothing special. Will not be returning

We were so looking forward to this but it was dreadful. We arrived at 6.10pm but weren't served our mains until 8.05pm. We went for the special starters and everything was deep fried and covered with batter, even the smoked chicken. I pointed out that the menu didn't mention this. The beef in the mains was chewy. The singapore noodles were gloopy and stuck together, horrible. The one ray of sunshine was the waiter, he worked so hard and was brilliant at his job. This is why I have given 2 stars and not one. We went for the 'all u can eat' so maybe if people didn't go for this option it might have been better.

It was a very popular restaurant , considering with there at 6:30 there would definitely overworked , well done, 😀 would recommend the crispy duck.

So pleased we went. The food was excellent and house white wine was great for the price. Good banter with a couple of tables too. The waiter was amazing but a little rushed off his feet (not sure how he did it) but if anything it added to our experience. Would recommend and we will be back!

First time and it was a takeaway so I can't comment on the dine in experience. What I can say is what we ordered. Out of the five dishes we took home the two that disappointed the most was the chicken fried rice and the Thai red curry. Neither were up to scratch. The rice was over cooked at stodgy and the red curry wasn't even close to what a red curry should taste like. Slightly disappointed, as all the other reviews seem great. To be fair the other dishes were OK

Have been coming here for the past 4 or 5 years. It is consistently great food, and great service. Vincent is amazing front of house and Sam quietly cooks the amazing dishes. Both the things combine to keep us coming back time after time.

Absolutely disgusted by the service, rude waiter & chef. The food took ages to be 'cooked' 4 measly pieces of chicken in the chicken chow mein. After asking how much longer we could expect to wait, our food appeared 10 minutes later. I noticed a car, coming & going outside, convinced the take away was being 'cooked' as we were sat there waiting. Lack of vegetables & flavour. Microwaved. Worst meal I have ever had. And SERVICE!

Best restaurant in Felixstowe hands down. Not only is the food soooooo good but the man that works there is the sweetest person ever and you will never have better service 🥺 it’s £20.90 for all you can eat and every single thing I’ve tried is perfect. I’ve been twice and my family have been a few times and we never have anything bad to say :)

Went for lunch, quite good choice, was very tasty and served hot. Service polite and helpful. Quiet but that suited us. Food comes plated with what you have ordered. Ideally, we would have preferred to have been able to order multiple dishes to share/mix but perhaps this can be done with the main evening menu. Would still return.

Very good vegetarian meal for 2- tofu in sweet & sour sauce-stir fried broccoli in garlic sauce-mixed vegetables in hot sauce and egg fried rice. Different tastes and textures all piping hot and flavourful. Every thing served on hot plates-waiter very friendly and helpful-top class restaurant.

Want there on my own as I fancy it it was very nice bit I found it to be very over price. I had the same as what you get on a buffet eat as much as you like but without the duck. I order a starter and main course with a coke and it cone to £48 for one person. If I was to take somone else with me the same meal for 2 would have been about £38 for the both of us. I will stop using them from now on.

went for a birthday it was bad really bad one waiter all evening the duck came out for seven people it wasnnt alot and when i asked the only waiter for more duck from there eat as you want menu and refused the duck then i only orederd the curry and 4 out of 7 had a bad stomach for the next few days disgusting never go there worst meal in felixstowe

I looked this restaurant up and saw lovely reviews. I must say great place, staff are lovely and food was gorgeous. We had the all you can eat menu. Starters were very nice and duck as you expect. We chose some different dishes than we would normally as our mains and everything was tasty and well presented.. we will definitely be back for more. We actually loved the music playing in the background .

Had a lovely meal here last night, the staff cant do enough to please you!! This is the 2nd time we have been in the last couple of months and I would certainly recommend it! All you can eat buffet for under £20 each we arrived at 7.30pm and still enjoying the food, drink and atmosphere at 10.30, they were in no rush to get us out. Great place to eat!!

2 years later I recently visited again, after my last 3 star review I was not expecting much. However I was pleasantly surprised. Yes the décor is not modern but its warm, welcoming and traditional. I do think the starters need to be amended as their are really only deep fried options and doesn't showcase great Asian food. The duck was fine, a little dry but crispy and tasty. The mains were delicious and the right size meaning you can try many different dishes, there isn't a huge choice and I would like too see a few more non fried chicken options and a couple more beef options. However it is very tasty, the flavors were spot on and didn't taste all the same as Chinese can often do. The Malaysian and Thai dishes were the highlight for me, the Sambal chicken was particularly enjoyable and I would have liked a Sambal beef. The owner was polite but you do feel like a naughty child if you ask for extra food or asking for no onion or something in a dish. A nice local alternative instead of the Drive to Mr Wings. Thanks for the meal!

Well worth the visit booked table in advance for 4 and had the eat as much as you'd like menu reasonably priced some conditions attached to get the full list... Ask first to make sure you understand what's going on not all drinks available on menu so be flexible... Had the table for all evening to chat and eat/drink and wasn't rushed.. Enjoyable meal

Very welcoming. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Clean and tidy. Even said to us before we sat down that it may be a bit of a wait for food. We weren't in any hurry anyway. So the wait for us didn't seem long really. The food was very very good. We will be returning to this place again in September.

Not the cheapest place in town for lunch and the service is not particularly quick - BUT the food was delicious and the waiter attentive. 2 soups, 2 mains, 2 beers for £24. Existing panels between some booths avoid the need for plastic screens. Definitely recommended!

Went there for the first time tonight with my husband. We both had the set meal no. 2 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was top rate and the food was first class, no faults to be found anywhere. I started to cough at one point as some spice hit the back of my throat and the waiter came straight over to check if I was OK, which I was, he even offered me water to help. Would definitely recommend a visit and we'll definitely go back if we're in Folkestone again. If I could give it more stars I'd give it 10.

Close to Felixstowe high street. Licenced restaurant offering Thai, Malaysian and Korean cuisine but food was very average and service was poor even though only 4 of us in the restaurant all night. In fact waiter even got one of starters wrong!! Quite expensive for the quality. Will not be returning or recommending

We love, love, love the food, holidaying in Felixstowe, we go back each year and this is one of my favourite places. The food is divine and the waiter is very attentive. and treats you like royalty. Treated my youngest son for his birthday, when the waiter found out, he put the 'Happy Birthday,' song over the tannoy, it was quite loud, much to my son's amusement. Lol;-) Wished we had a Sam Moi Oriental, back at home;-)

Lovely food and really attentive staff. We had a cracking Sunday meal early doors 5pm. Food was really good and we were made to feel really comfortable even with 2 three year olds. Prices were really good and we never once felt rushed. The place is really clean and once the front door was closed the air conditioning made it a welcome break from the heat my kids cleared their plates and half of mine. We will be visiting again for sure. Thank you for a great meal
