Best burger I ever had and I brought my dog in for the first time, despite her overexcitement of other dogs there that caused chaos in the pub. But I'm glad the staff were understanding 😌 😊 and would love to see her again - I just need to take her on a longer walk

I really enjoyed the Sri Lankan fish cakes. Nice and spicy.

We were lucky to come across this place while we were looking to get some early supper. We sat in the pub garden at sunset and really enjoyed the food and drinks we ordered. The chicken pie I had was definitely homemade and tasted excellent. Friendly service and atmosphere. We'll be back.

The beer was well kept and the food was good but my yorkshire pud was denser than usually expected. Our dog Toby was really happy in the pub...but even happier in The field adjoing the car park.

This pub is a total gem 💎 both a proper country pub and an inspired menu that surpasses expectation! You would be hard pressed to get this standard of food in a London. Great food, drinks, staff and dog friendly!! 🐾🐾❤️⭐️

Whilst the staff were perfectly friendly and attentive, the food was very poor. We ordered the roast and were very disappointed in quality of it all. It was not well cooked, and the gravy was like dish water. Sorry we wont go back.

An excellent find whilst out and about in the area 😀. Nice beer garden at the side and also at the back overlooking the fields, just to stop at after a drive or head over for some food with friends. The front door is on the road side, make sure you choose the right one... 😉 the left one doesn't work.

Found it while exploring .. went back 2 days later for a meal.. so good.. yummy and great menu selection. Superb service too..

Great roasts on Sundays and they also have pizza and pint Fridays, along with poker nights, reading clubs, knitting club, themed menus, and sometimes live sports events, completly dog and child friendly (well behaved husbands too) great selection of homemade desserts too

Such a warm, friendly welcome! Very accomodating, wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Family friendly with a gorgeous, well behaved doggy wandering about. This is how community pubs need to be run! Busy and full of life on a Thursday evening, we will gladly come back!

Lovely friendly service as before. Risotto done to perfection. Roast dinners were well received. Fish and chips went down extremely well. Good value and friendly atmosphere. We'll be visiting again very soon.

Great food and friendly service whenever we come here. It's a good pub for dogs too, they have several you can pet.

Oh heavens above!!! The Sunday roast was soooooo good! I was so happy and hungry I forgot to take a picture. All food here is so good and tasty! Always definitely worth a visit here!

Went on an evening of awkward customers which the bar staff handled so well that it didn't affect my enjoyment of the evening. Don't live locally but will certainly be revisiting when in area. bar staff super friendly and great overall atmosphere!!!!!

Worst pub I have ever been in. Flat pints, unfriendly bar staff. Arrogant customers and £4.40 for a bottle of lager!!! Not to mention the bucket under the urinal which was probably a nicer pint than the so called Peroni they have on tap. Poor location. Poorly priced. Would I reccomend? Absolutely not. Might have been a one off but I doubt it.

Absolutely diabolical evening. Went for a quiet drink with some family and friends , and had nothing but trouble. Members of staff attacking and upsetting paying customers. Loud music and lights for no reason. And genuinely just a horrid atmosphere. And drinks are overpriced. The only positive was the dogs in the pub. Never visiting again

Not so much a criticism of the pub more the people that go there and I'm not sure if it's all the time but there's was violent locals not the most safe place ( throwing stones at cars .ect )

Really poor food. A disappointment after local recommendation. Nachos cheese burnt, venison steak tough as rubber

1 member of staff on duty on a late Saturday lunchtime. The beer was excellent and the food great, service was also good and there were about 10 people there. Extensive menu.Some friendly dogs too. We liked it and will go back

The best home cooked proper Sunday roast in the Ipswich area. Great food, a pleasant, homely hospitality and it also has a lovely view over the Suffolk countryside. It is small country pubs like this that needs customers. You will not be disappointed.

We popped in to the White Hart for lunch. The menu was good, as was the food and drink. The pub is small but the staff was cheerful, although a bit slow. We would return when next nearby and hungry

Super local pub. Honest and down to earth. Good beers, great food, great people. Warm and welcoming. Nice walks nearby and a perfect place to stop in the middle.

Visited here today with a group of friends as part of a country walk. We had a light lunch which was excellent. Food was hot and tasty. Will certainly return.

Nice home cooked food Dog's are aloud inside the pub. A few nice gest alien and really nice land lady. A must try if your passing

Friendly staff, good wine, and food. Dog welcoming although you have to compete with two others who live there. On the edge of the village with gardens and views over fields. Worth a visit on a sunny day or in the winter enjoy the fire.

Excellent food, choice of beef, lamb or chicken roast and there were fresh vegetables - cauliflower cheese, carrots, swede, peas, ratatouille and roast parsnips. Local Victoria brewed beer along with Adams etc.

Excellent food, friendly staff, and friendly patrons, there can be several dogs about as dogs and families are very much part of the ethos.

Friendly place, loved the dogs. As a group we all ordered food. Most of it was good value around £10 upwards, but £10 for the pesto pasta (supposedly with pine nuts that didn't exist - not a single one found) is a bit steep.

A great local pub. Lovely to have a fire but ever so slightly chilly when windy. I do like my burgers slightly more well done than I received, however this was partly made up for I'm the fact that it was homemade. Overall I would visit here again with some good outdoor seating for the summer months.
