I regularly use the sports bar as a base for the day. The environment and facilities are excellent and very well maintained. All of the team working there are super friendly, professional and welcoming. They all clearly care about delivering great service and they genuinely deliver this consistently. Really enjoy going there and the complimentary biscuits with the coffee are on another level!

We have a takeaway from here at least twice a month. They do often arrive quicker than the estimated time, drivers are really polite and friendly, food is perfect temperature and we live a 15 min delivery away. I always have the BBQ, chicken, bacon pizza, I really like it and I'm fussy. Hubby has the half pounder burger, and some fried chicken, must like it he always orders the same, my son likes the chicken and lamb Donner wraps, cheesy chips. I don't know why there aren't a lot of reviews. I'd give them easily a 4* +

Very family friendly. The table we had was absolutely the best.It was my birthday celebration and I cannot fault the portion of the food. The chicken liver and the brocolli soup was amazing. All the staff was friendly and accomadable to our order .it would be nice if these points are considered next time 1.Waitress who took our order not even a smile not friendly enough 2.Hair in my chips and I was the birthday girl! It did put me off but they were nice enough not to charge me and they even offer me if I would like something else but I refuse as it just spoil the experience at this time.maybe a voucher would have been nice to use another time. 3.nobody as how we want the burger to be done well done or rare we'll this is something which I think should be ask. Location and table was amazing and we did not wait for a long time for meal to turn up .

I recently dined at this venue known for its upscale ambiance and fine dining offerings. While I anticipated a luxurious experience, I left with mixed feelings about the heft price tag was justified. The food was good but not spectacular enough to defend the high prices charged for the main meal. The lamb pie was £23 and the lamb dish of the day was £32. I shall not be rushing to revisit this venue any time soon.

Visited on a day trip from Lowestoft to Norwich on the train. A large Spoons, the ladies loo (yes, upstairs!) is palatial! Breakfast was good, served promptly and set us up for the day, only disappointment was non availability of fresh fruit for our fruit and yogurt!

Visited The Crown last night for a Birthday Dinner celebration. This Country Pub, Restaurant is going from strength to strength since it was taken over by by Lucy and Darryl. From the minute you approach the Thatched building with its beamed interior, you feel as though you have walked into a country cottage living room. Comfortable chairs, relaxed ambience, well stocked bar and a changing menu including fish, steaks, veg, vegan, and a little from afar. It’s always nice to have something with a different twist! Plenty of spacious tables in both front bars and a long atmospheric restaurant behind the bar. If you haven’t visited yet, put it on your eating out list, I don't think you will be dissapointed with the welcome, the friendly staff or the good food.

This place has weird hippie vibes mixed with smelly incense and indian music. I used shazam to work out what it was playing. It was “While My Sitar Gently Weeps Banaras Baba & Kolkata Kid” Very strange music unrelated to jungles and more Hindu religion. I was expecting food all there was some cakes and empty sausage rolls in the cake container on display. We aren't from the area and just googled cafes close by. The cakes were average, not fresh. The place was empty except for two other people there. I didn't like the dangling plants every where. One to avoid if you're ever in the area.

We have been to this pub before for both drinks and food, and have always been really impressed with the service. However, today, we popped in for a quick drink and were made to feel really unwelcome. The barman seemed to be annoyed that we were there (despite the fact that the pub was empty). He then turned away a group of eight people who just wanted a drink. We won't be returning.

One of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant ever! Took ages to receive both starters and mains, with at least a 45 minute gap in between them… which went very slowly as I couldn’t get the awful potted crab taste out of my mouth for the entire time. When asked if they had any gluten free bread, we were met with a “maybe” and then they never mentioned it again. As mentioned, potted crab for starter was definitely out of a can, and the chips that came with my steak were 100% McCains oven chips. I don’t mind McCains, but nearly £40 for that and an overcooked “rare” steak, quite frankly my love for them goes out the window. However, it does provide quite good entertainment watching staff constantly apologising for 1 hour waits, with them seeming to think that dumping a bread roll on any aggravated table sorts out the matter… the only saving grace there was Evie, one of the waitresses, of whom appeared to be sent to any of those aggravated tables to make them laugh a little - only staff member with personality. So shout out to Evie, as I doubt the restaurant would have lasted long without her. £105 in total for 2 people, 2 courses, and quite frankly, I think my tortoise has had better meals.
