Istanbul Kebab in South Norfolk

We ordered a takeaway at 6:30pm via justeat with a wait time of 45 minutes (absolutely fine) we then had to call to see what was happening after an hour and a half, to be told another 30 mins. We called again after 40 mins to be told the driver is on his way. Fast forward another 40 minutes and we call again to be told the driver has just left 5 minutes ago. The lady on the phone was lovely and so apologetic. She said she’d have the manager call us to rectify in some way - that never happened. When the food arrived the pizza was very doughy (undercooked) and the chicken was undercooked and inedible. We waited for the call to rectify but by this point it was pushing 11pm and nothing. Would not recommend at all.

2hr 30 mins wait from when I ordered it 2phone calls to see where it got to no apology or explanation very poor

Fast delivery and nice food, not sure why all the low ratings.. Have ordered from these guys loads of times and never had an issue, the delivery guy is always really nice and friendly too.

We have been told twice the order has ‘just left’ still have not received our food, absolutely appalling service. Not sure it will ever arrive so can’t comment regarding the quality.

Ordered at 6.15 came at 8.45 £31 for 2 kebabs which are very small with minimal salad and cold soggy curly fries. Very disappointed

Extremely late (over 2 and a half hours to arrive), cold at worst and luke warm at best. Called to chase, was told they’d left and food landed over 30 minutes later. Should have read recent reviews before ordering :(

Very disappointed, travelled from Bungay for something different, chicken burger was dry and tasteless, mainly mayo and hardly any lettuce. Kebab had no chilli sauce and was tiny for the price paid (£14) large mixed. Such a shame

Ordered 2 large doner. The amount of meat was pitiful.they need to stop using the thin trays the food is packaged in as they are just an excuse to be super stingy with the meat. Very disappointing

Earliest delivery time was 1 hour after we ordered, not too bad. Eventually arrived 45mins after latest delivery time. Almost 2 hour wait and while food was good it was not worth it for that and the cost

Food was delivered 2 hours and 10 minutes later to then have pink chicken, pizza was cold...wernt happy as put us off all the food, called them and was told someone would collect food which they didn't do so again was waiting for them... now waiting on full refund,

Waited 2 hrs, app said delayed by 30 minutes. Finally rang them, got told it was on its way, then told they were just finishing the order off. 2nd time used them, both times hopeless.

Food took almost 2 and half hours to come . My wrap was so soggy that when I picked it up it fell into a ball of mush . Not impressed

Massively over priced for the poor portions, service is aweful nothing welcoming about the place staff are rude, the only thing good to say about the place is the food wasn't to bad but had alot better, Won't be returning as it's just not worth the money.

When I leave a txt they always amend my order to my request.

Got a notification saying 'enjoy your food' at 19.15 but it didn't actually arrive until 19.45 and I had to ask for an update rather than being supplied with one automatically which is poor.

Have ordered 3 times to a friend's house now all orders have been cancelled, phoned them to be told as the lad in the house has left feedback on justeat they will not get any further deliveries. They can't take feedback on the poor food the send out to you , totally disgrace and food safety should go check this place out , so don't say anything about the food or be prepared to never have them deliver again , some customer service that is .

Ordered food for my family at 6:00pm to be delivered. At 8:15pm still no sign of food. Tried phoning shop but can't get an answer, just straight to answer machine as normal (phone off hook). Ended up driving to the shop at 8:30pm to find out where my order was just to be told really sorry they've been busy and my pizzas were then being cooked. I waited for my order and brought the food home myself. What a waste of the delivery and service charge. The most annoying thing about the whole experience is if I had placed my order with Just Eat for collection instead of delivery, my order would of been ready in 20 minutes. As you can imagine, the whole family were not happy.

Ordered at 7.08pm arrived at 9.40pm, 3 pizzas and 1 lot of chips, not a big or difficult order?

Thank you to the driver, managed to find us even though we are remote, and arrived earlier than the estimated time. No issues. 5 stars.

2hrs late, cold and burger looked like roadkill, Tried to call but no one answered the phone. Delivery lady was very apologetic after she walked up and down the road even though she'd driven past twice already and the house is clearly numbered. Well done taking 2hrs to deliver 0.5 miles away! Won't be using again in a hurry.

Ordered kebab for 12:40 advised of 13:05 delivery. Bang on time. App prob doesn't allow enough time for them to open. Overall happy. 😊

First time being in this shop for a few years. Fantastic, quick service. Very clean dressed staff, very polite. Food I order was lovely and hot, would definately use this shop again.

The nice [I think] owner was very friendly. I ordered a kebab and everything was hot, tasty and fresh. I recommend.

The place says it's open till 1230 on a Saturday night I called at 1210 and they are closed. The chicken is tight the price is high the pizzas are dry and over cooked. For a small town it's ridiculous how the time doesn't match what's online... Very disappointed especially for mother's day weekend. The staff is friendly but not efficient with customers. I think the Turkish people have no respect for time and day or the women. The Turkish men I've met in PA person are very disrespectful. Think they need to learn our language as well as serve food they offer. I've had tummy bug every time eating from this place

Pizza was good chips were soaky and tango was warm very disappointed cos I never heard of a takeaway pizza that u have to cook on delivery would like a refund or a free meal

Amazing food, hot, tasty and really delicious. But it’s the second time the food has taken over 2 hours to arrive!

Pitta bread was burnt , 3 little pieces of chicken in a £10 meal , Hardly any salad , never had this problem before , sent back and asked them to change it. Second time not so bad still hardly any meat for the price

Ordered a pizza which cost nearly £25 quid at 7 o'clock and it arrives at 20:40 stone cold we live 1.5 miles away from harleston 🙄. Unless your orderening £50 pounds worth of food there not intrested. Wouldn't recommend unless living in walking distance

Booed for 8.15pm delivery. Called at 8.45pm as food hadn't arrived and told driver was then leaving shop. Food arrived at 9pm and every single meal cold!

Super busy new years and despite the rush the gentlemen are always kind and respectful, I honestly strive to be as patient! Favorite takeaway in town. Much respect, very hard working!

£12 for a bottle of 12% wine it arrives being a £3 bottle of wine from the shop at 10.5% I’m waiting for a refund as this is ridiculous

very dissappointed, arrived 30 minutes late and the meat in all kebabs was cold! placed our order really early at 16.45, estimated delivery was 17.35-17.55, order online went from confirmed staight to enjoy your food at 6pm, 6.15pm rang restaurant to be told driver already on his way, arrived at 18.30! now shows as delivered at 17.40???

The wrap was literally meat and a wrap, I expected a little bit of salad. The wedges were overdone and the box they came in had gone soggy.

The food turned up lovely and hot the only issue was I didn’t get the garlic sauce I ordered.

Had quite a few takeaways and unfortunately has seen the quality drop and price go higher, this was addressed face to face but they didn't seem very interested. We will not be ordering again very disappointed

Spend nearly £30 to then be charged £5 for a delivery that takes 2 hours... Food isn't anything special, either. And a 3 star hygiene rating.

Food was bone cold, pizza was more a 7” however I ordered 12”, pizza was terrible, as it was undercooked. Place needs to be reviewed by food hygiene asap. Horrible

Late still not hear always late where is my food

It was greasy. Cold, ordered garlic sauce but it wasn’t garlic sauce left both of us with awful stomach aches feeling unwell. The chips was soggy from sitting in so much grease.

Unfortunately there was pieces of blue plastic in the kebab wrap and my chicken/doner kebab

The food wasn't that good here, Chicken burger was tough and parts inedible, Beef burger was just ok. Wouldn't return!

I ordered large lamb doner, large lamb shish and a large chicken shish and doner with sides. None of the kebabs were large only a few pieces of meat which was cold and the kebab meat was crispy and dry. To top it all of after phoning the restaurant and telling them it was cold and small I found the lamb shish was so chewy and grisly I took it out of my mouth as I couldn't chew it and it was raw. This is disgusting to receive food that is incorrectly cooked. Phoning the restaurant hasn't helped me at all. If I could score minus 5 stars I would. I will never return to this company and have taken pictures of the raw food that will be sent to just eat.

Holidaying in Norfolk and fancied a kebab in one of the two kebab houses in town. Stumbled in here and was stood there waiting for minutes whilst the five members of the shop all sorted out their takeaway orders. I pointed out that having a customer in the shop, at the point in time, was probably more important. They looked shocked at the idea. Walked out and went down the road for an alright kebab. I assume this wouldn’t have been any better. Crazy stuff.

Ordered chicken and it looked like it was leftover from the weekend (it’s Thursday now) and smelled of fish. Not pleasant at all so it just went in the bin. Pizza was a little undercooked. Thought I’d give them another try after the last order was not that great but I think this is my last time.

Everything was OK till yesterday 😪 I've ordered "Large" donner kebab(meat tray only)for 8£ came home and I opened the tray and was barely meat in that tray. I've never seen them weigh portions and you never know how much you're paying for? I said I will never step in that take away shop again. Pure greediness 😤😡

Good as usual but the vegetarian pizza came with chicken on even though I checked with the server. It was ok but annoying.

My chicken was cold, I phone when my food was 40mg d later and still took a further 35 minutes, I am not a very happy person
