First time ever of ordering fish and chips online and I am 100% impressed that delivery was exactly on time. However, there was a slight issue with one item which was very strong in flavour, this was Rock Eel. It was so strong I had to leave it. The rest of the meal was perfectly cooked and tasted good.

Have ordered before, but this time the battered sausages weren’t all messed up, the chips were cold and the burger was a thin piece of meat in a large bap, for £4.20 - extremely expensive meal of £19.20, most of which ended up in the bin

Horrible! Fish was wet, chips were cold and tasted as stale as a drunk's morning breath. And they have the nerve to charge 30p for a paper bag. Unbelievable.

Unfortunately been ordering for a long time and it the first time I was horrible tbh fish was like concrete and very over cook and chips were like chip left overs

A fantastic fish and chip shop. Great quality ingredients delivered promptly and warm.

After one positive visit for which i left a positive review i returned to be charged 4.30 for a pie they put in the microwave i made a comment that i wast happy with a a microwaved pie and they just shrugged their shoulders and said that the way it is, if i wanted a microwaved pie i could of bought of 1,20 and put it in my own microwave no offer of refund, utterly disgusting customer service will never return

Unfortunately, for the first time the order delivered was incorrect. Only one portion of chips even though we ordered two. We have ordered dozens of times before without issue.

for many years i have been using the big fry for lunchtime chips and im always let down and swear never again and after my last experience there i really do mean i will never set foot in the big fry again i finally tried chips away late one afternoon as unfortunately they don't open for lunch i couldn't of been happier withe the service, price and battered sausage and chips just what i needed someone who knows how to run a chip shop

Food was greasy and missing items

The large cod was perfect the medium cod’s were very dry like they’d been sitting in cabinet for a while! Very disappointed 😞

Nearly 2 hours for chip shop food is not acceptable. Especially mid week. Will think twice before ordering again

Ordered on just eat. Had to wait nearly 2 hours for our food. Mid week too. Food not hot. And chips not very nice at all. Will be sticking to the other shop in town. Ordered from here because the normal shop doesn't deliver but after this will always go get myself.

Always order from chips away as food is amazing but the food was really late today and when you’re trying to feed kids it’s not great

Quickly becoming my favourite chip shop. Not greasy like most, the batter on the fish was amazing! Only thing is the burgers are a bit dry but hey I enjoyed it 😂

Chips were good, burgers at 7 quid a pop were worse than a school meal and more dry than Sister Mary's..... burger..... both me and my partner couldn't finish the burger, hope their fish is better but not sure we will risk it and try again based on the burger. Rancid.

We use this chip shop regularly and decided to have items delivered tonight. An hour and a half delivery and the food was cold. Very disappointed.

Food was over 10 minutes late, obviously sat in someone’s car for ages as everything was soggy when we eventually got it. They also packed everything so tightly my curry sauce pot was squashed and subsequently spilled over everything (soaking through the packaging due to how long it had been out for delivery). This rendered half the food inedible! Usually such a good takeaway but such a let down this time. Disappointed. Clearly rushing too much not thinking things through!

Tonight I visited and the Chips where undercooked to the point there still hard very disappointing and the curry sauce had lumps of powder in not what I would of expected from a chip shop

Just paid £6.50 for a medium cod on just eat from chips away Wymondham, very disappointed as normally very good.As you can see from the picture absolutely shocking.I will never use just eat again!

2x sausage & chips + 2x cod & chips all arrived in paper bags - couldn’t get the chips or fish off the paper! Complete disaster at the table. Shop must’ve ran out of polystyrene containers. Better luck next time hopefully.

Difficult to get fish and chips to travel well. Chips away do it very well. Good quality fish. Battered chicken breast nicely cooked. Large portion of chips enough to feed a small army.

It got delivered before the app even said the drivers on his way! Large chips are large enough for a family of four. Sausage and cod was battered to perfection. My favourite chippy on earth. My family order from here when there is one around the corner from theirs. It’s the perfect British take away!!!

I ordered triple pork loaded chips, medium cod and a foot long sausage. BANGING! Battered to perfection. I love a good chippy and I haven’t found one better than this one and I’ve been to All the chippies on the east coast of England and this place is the best chippy on earth. Can’t go wrong if you want a great English chippy. Don’t forget to grab a pickled gherkin!!

Triple pork chips nom nom nom banging. The burger was okay but chippies don’t normally do burgers so let them off. Chips, fish, sausages anything battered is perfection. It’ll be hard to find a better English chippy in the whole of England it’s perfection.

This is the best chippy around hear the large chips are enough to feed a family of four. I ordered a L sausage and medium chips and American loaded chips and a steak and kidney pie. The batter was amazing, I would recommend that if you get loaded fries get the three pork ones over the American burger one. Still this is the best take away in Wymondham/ Norwich well worth the money. Totally banging!!

Good portions, quick delivery and nice food:)

Food was nice enough but this is 3rd time we have used them and it's been horrendously late. We have a feeling we are on their way home so just bring it when they close. The delivery time said 45 to 60 mins. I ordered at 6pm and as soon as I ordered the delivery time changed to well over this, so they must have known! When I rang them to chase it, they changed my order to delivered status! Making it look like it had come already. It eventually arrived close on 8pm, 2 hours later. This is 3rd time they've been late. Nice food but sadly I wouldn't use them again. Honesty on delivery times would be preferred.

Waited ages for the food - got it home & chicken nuggets were missing so my 10 year old didn’t get his dinner. Chips were greasy & soggy, but tasted ok slathered in ketchup. Tried to ring to let them know but phone just rang out to a pre-recorded message so couldn’t even let them know in person. Don’t bother - go to the chippy down the road instead

Good service, ok food, fair price. Isn’t the best in town, but it’s the best in the market place. I’d happily pop in for quick food with no gripes. Cheapest and nicest out the two, although it’d be hard to be worse than the other one.

After placing order, estimated time given was roughly an hour. Within 25-30minutes our food arrived. Delivery driver was respectful of our property and was polite. The food itself was well wrapped and packaged on arrival. The chips and batter on the food was just right, not all soggy and greasy and they were lovely and hot. We started using Chips Away during Covid restrictions and every time have received great service . Would recommend 👌

Recently moved to the area and we have done the rounds and found this is the best fish and chips we have ever had. Largest cod is a massive meal. Done to order skin on or off. Extremely friendly and helpful and always worth a visit. Not the cheapest but you won't find better and huge portions make this very worth while at any cost.
