FOOD HYGIENE RATING OF ONE - and I would suggest that was generous - I ordered a doner and sald and got savage FOOD POISONING - i was bed bound for a week after the CAMPYLOBACTER (diagnosed by GP via blood and poo test) turned to a gut infection and then reactive arthritis. This really could have kiiled a vulnerable person. Avoid at all costs - obviously.

Food very good and well cooked.

I don’t normally go out of my way to leave reviews but this place deserves it,The food here is absolutely amazing, especially the fish n chips! Which i personally think are the best I’ve had! And I’ve had a lot! lol the batter is still crunchy when you get home too which is always a bonus. Luckily we don’t live far but I would still go out of my way to drive there, trust me, it’s worth it!

I have used them before and have never had any complaints. However, I ordered a pizza and chicken and have to say that the pizza was inedible, the base was like wood (the topping was actually very nice), the chicken was delicious. When I called to report it, they were very good and sent a replacement pizza no problem. The replacement was equally as awful but I got a full refund, including the chicken, which I was happy to pay for. I would say that it is an all round good takeaway, especially the chicken and kebab, but the pizza is one of the worst I have ever had, anywhere in the world. Service is very good and I will use again without a doubt, just not the pizzas.

You have to have some food there it is so amazing food and the service is good and finnley and the diving was good as well to you have to try the food there you well love it

Sadly the 12 inch pizza ordered on Saturday evening was very dry and unpleasant . Base was literally crunchy (ordered online and were bang on time before to pick up - it was not “ sitting there” ) Only thing I can compare to is one of the long life pizza bases was used. Did , respectfully a nod politely contact Tasty Bites via messenger to politely request a refund as we couldn’t eat it. No response received I am disappointed to say. Seems privacy option was switched on after pm sent. Chips were great ! The pizza before this was (several months ago) was very unpleasant and greasy/oily with a strange taste but thought maybe a one off as used to love the pizzas there. Sadly won’t use them anymore 🙁

I ordered 10mins before they closed and didn’t know they don’t take card so my partner had to go home and get cash and they stayed open 24 mins past closing for me. They’re are absolutely lovely and the food is amazing, I will definitely be going back !!!!

Chicken wrap was very nice however the pizza was just mediocre, dough was chewwy and unimpressive. Staff were nice and friendly but the lack of card payment is an issue. Pricing is also a bit steep for what you get.

Zero-star review. But Google forces you to give one. My review is based on three experiences ordering from Tasty Bites. The first time, the cod we ordered was full of bones, with no care taken to remove the small pin bones that could cause someone to choke. Fortunately, no one choked. We waited 45 minutes for our order of two cod and chips and one chicken burger meal.. Second was the same chicken burger order. Tasty Bites called to say they were out of chicken, so I switched to the cheeseburger option as I can understand suppliers can let you down...even if Tesco Express is across the road. The order took an hour and a half to arrive - strike two. Strike three. I ordered a chicken burger meal with an extra chicken burger. After waiting an hour and a half, I called to inquire about my order and was told, "It is being wrapped now. It takes time as it is fresh and homemade." Fair enough. "It is 10-15 minutes away," they said. Okay, a chance to redeem yourself. The food arrived, but there was no drink with the meal. The chicken was dry and had clearly been sitting under the heat lamps, dying, for the entire time, even after my call. It was warm but not hot at all, and the chips were horrible. On a Tuesday night, I placed the order at 18:03 and received it at 20:28—nearly a two and a half hour wait. The delivery driver did not apologize or offer any explanation. He was the grumpiest person I've ever encountered and clearly did not want to be out making deliveries. I will not be ordering from you again. I will go back to ordering from Enjoy Eat Pizza in Cringleford. At least they deliver in 45 minutes, even when they are busy, and their food is fresher and hotter when it arrives in Wymondham.

Ordered this just now and food is cold unfortunately . The portion size and for what they charge is too expensive. Food good as in the taste but did ask for extra extra mayonnaise but they gave me very very little. Burger was pretty tasty though. There you go, I have edited the review. You have got to take criticism. If the food isn’t good, or you have a bad experience, let people have an opinion.

We didn’t realise you did kebabs until last week!! Been back already for more…chicken, donner, salad, chilli sauce really really good.

Wow best lamb rebab I've had in a very long time. Very tender, cooked to perfection and tasty. Will definitely be back.

Highly recommend! We go back there often, the pizza is the best I've ever eaten in Norwich! The food is always fresh and the service is very nice. One time I had small issues but I was listened to and understood by the owner.

Girl at the till was super nice and friendly. Would order again!

Friendly lads, decent price, never had a problem.

The food is lovely if a little pricey but that might say more about my age than this place. My only comment is that it does feel a little disorganised when they get busy.

Nice pizzas one of the best I’ve every had

Verged on a one stat but decided to give it a two … this is based on a relatives decision to make a trip there to get a take way treat for the visiting family … not a treat at all in the end

Not at all impressed with opening hours. Advertised as open at 2pm on Google which is incorrect. Went there today and found out it should be 3pm opening but nobody answered the door so we walked away at 3.10. Sort yourselves out guys!

Ordered food (one kebab and one chicken and chips,) at 7:30pm. Now 9:50pm and still no food. Two phone calls, the first one the food was ‘15 minutes away’ (40 minutes ago) and another call the food was 7 minutes away (20 minutes ago). Not so much as a single apology and I can imagine the food is stone cold by now. Terrible.

Margarita pizza is tiptop 10/10 a favourite -fair price.local takeout in a busy village parking easily accessible *can be an issue at busy times I rang ahead to place order for a collection . Service is good -small seating area while waiting for orders Fridays /Saturdays very busy .

Was really impressed how hot my food arrived, first time using this place, pizza was lovely apart from missing the sweet corn and the chips were ok, will order from here again and would recommend thanks guys x

Ordered my selection on the phone, I was given a time when the freshly cooked food would be ready . It was all perfect, very tasty moist chicken in the kebab with lots of salad , along with large cod which’s again was cooked to perfection and the fish was lovely and white. This takeaway cares about the food quantity and customer satisfaction. We will definitely be using Tasty Bites in the very near future as their menu has a fantastic selection.

Pie and chips …. Chips ere indelible and no way were they fresh cook … dry and shrivelled beyond belief Pie was hot, give you that , but as a chicken pie I would have expected some meat …alas no ,,, just a mushy sauce, no idea what it consisted of !!! Avoid this place like the plague

Yet again food missing from our order. Which means the rest of our meal will be cold time we receive it. Portion sizes have drastically reduced also. Time to find a new takeaway

Went in Friday for a meal for 6 of us Service was quick. Cost weren’t bad compared to others and they kindly gave for free a large bottle of drink of our choice too

I ordered my meal which turned up over 20 minutes late, the majority of the meal was missing. I was told I would recieve a refund which has never materialised. The delivery driver was very concerned that I would leave a bad review asking me several times if I would do that, to which I eventually said I had no intention of it but pointed out to him that it would be my right to do so if I wanted to. He then huffed and walked off. The food I did receive was barely luke warm and to be completely honest not very nice. Perhaps worry less about bad reviews and concentrate more on delivering good quality food, on time, with complete orders and work on your manners.

Have used Tasty Bites a number of times, most recently tonight. Service is always friendly and prompt. The 9" pizza meal deal with chips and a can is good value and they didnt even charge me for the extra toppings!! I find chip shop chips can be a bit hit and miss but here they're consistently great and the pizza's are really good too. Great little takeaway.

Best local takeaway and always fast service

Measley chip portion. Scampi and chips were squashed to bits. Always get our order wrong. No gravy. No burger sauce. No butter on roll. Overpriced nonsense. Sorry!

Dont be put off by the slightly shabby look and the door that doesn't shut very well, the fish and chips are fantastic! The staff are friendly and seem to know their regulars well. Worth a visit

Nice little takeaway in Hethersett village. Nice group of lads who run it and the food is nice. The pizza was made fresh and was tasty. Reasonably price. Plenty of parking nearby.

We are regular customers at Tasty Bites, driving over from Ketteringham. We always order Large Chicken Shish Kebabs with Garlic Sauce and fresh Salad. I have travelled and have had kebabs all over the place and there are none better than those at Tasty Bites. The portion is generous, the chicken delicious and the garlic sauce terrific. The salad is fresh and crisp. You can’t do better!

Best Take away around, order from here weekly and the food is always delivered quickly and correctly. The BBQ chicken pizza is the best..! The delivery driver I usually get is a star and I love having a quick chat with him. Tasty Bites is easily the best in the wymondham area…

We are regular customers of Tasty Bites in Hethersett, always to pick up a couple of the large Chicken Shish Kebabs with garlic sauce and salad and occasionally we will have a very enjoyable Kebab Evening with a group of neighbours. The kebabs have been absolutely excellent, the garlic sauce delicious and the salad fresh and crispy. I’m always looking forward to the next one, and look for excuses to have kebabs for supper!

Great food, we had a large order with chips, kebab and fish, all food was great and the homemade chilli sauce was a real hit.

Ordered last night for a total of 9 people so a large order. We collected it in just 20 minutes, they were very busy but still so polite to everyone and not panicked. All the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend 👌

Both Haddocks like rubber. Must have been reheated from lunchtime. Cod was much better. Probably cook that evening Wife went back and haddocks replaced but then asked to modify review as we were getting free food. She pointed out that it was free just of a quality that you could eat.
