The food and service were as expected but the venue is showing its age - some table tops need refinishing and some bench seats are well overdue re-upholstering. Generally the place is overdue a tidy up.

Only one person carving so there was a long queue then the meat ran out so had to wait. Food was good though. Here's a thought, put the Yorkshire with the meat then he won't have to keep walking down to put them on the plates. How about the veg on an island so that more people can access it simultaneously.

Sunday carvery was absolutely delicious - top quality food! Honestly I’m so impressed with all of the vegetables from the counter.. so good! Elaine was friendly and checked if everything was all good for us during our meal. Also massive thank you to the maitre d' he was superb and managed to get us a table when we hadn’t booked and it as busy! Only slightly negative thing I can say is the cost of the soft drinks is expensive I believe for non-refillable - £3.95 for one 20oz Pepsi.

Five star service from Elaine was a treat

Bar tender took out order, confirmed with us the order and then gave us the wrong order. They corrected this after we mentioned. We had a carvery, there was only beef and gammon, the carvery staff told us we should have been informed at the bar but we were not. There was a flickering light outside the window that we were seated at. These are little things but it all adds up to make the experience less than favourable. I still enjoyed my visit. I have been before and had a better experience. Overall would visit again, but isn't my first choice.

I purchased a carvery at Little Melton & was served by Matt and Dean. One was training & one was a trainee (apologies I can’t remember who was who). I have a severe egg allergy and the trainer took this extremely seriously & was teaching the trainee the correct protocols for serving a meal with this in mind. I was extremely impressed with how seriously they took this & couldn’t fault them on their commitment to ensure that my meal was safe. I very rarely have an experience as good as this, that gives my confidence & reassurance that my meal is safe. Thank you for taking this so seriously & training staff correctly!

Booked a table for 3 at 830 using there website booking system only to be told when we turned up the kitchen closed at 820 we traveled 5 hours to the area as we are working local and if this what norfolk has to offer then we shall stick to McDonald's absolutely disgraceful behaviour

Loved this meal ( the good could have been hotter mind,) Great service - seated immediately with no pre booking A bit full of screaming children shouting/running around/screaming - but that is the parents not the pub!!!

Carvery ok but everything dried out under heat lamps and luke warm. If the server could have possibly cut the meat any thinner im sure he would have! Obviously under instruction to do so! Hardly thick enough for a sandwich let alone a meal! The decor is extremely poor with tables worn, carpet filthy and worn and seating totally bare and worn with large holes in them! Surely It wouldn’t cost much to sort this and up your game! Make the place presentable! Puts me off my food before I have even started! Like a lot of these places, they open fresh, new and spot on then gradually get run into the ground and forget about the customer experience! And standards drop! Very Poor!

The place itself was nice on the outside. Inside was nice & the staff were very lovely getting us a table to suit my visual needs. However the table was sticky after it had been cleaned. It is a pay before you eat restaurant. We ordered & the food was brought out to us in a timely manner. The food itself was burnt, no other way to describe it. My steak was definitely not sirloin it was the cheapest piece of meat they could get away with serving, it was gristly, chewy & fatty. Not very nice at all & certainly not worth the money paid. The tomato, mushrooms & chips that were served alongside it however were quite nice. My husbands meal was equally as bad the steak was gristly, chewy & fatty. The gammon was equally bad. The chicken would of been nice had it not been burnt. The sausages were full of gristly bits. We won't be returning.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of colouring pencils to keep children entertained. Food was of good quality. Only thing that could of been better is if we were told when non carvery food would arrive so we could of eaten all at same time.

Hello, we came in late for a Carvery, you need to do better the meat was unattended for a while...pickings for grubby fingers and veg section should have been hotter, area where gravy is, very messy, you also need to have dedicated Table Busters!!🙄🙄

Yesterday's booking was about myself my mum and 2 sisters having a very long over due catch up, we had planned this 3 times previously but it never happened as y mum has been poorly and couldn't make it, yesterday it finally happened, mum was able to tolerate a few hours out looking about the shops then finally having a great meal. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the service on arrival was fast and professional, we had already booked at table for a later time yesterday but mum was to warn out to wait, we made a different time slot booking on line which meant we could eat sooner, the lady on arrival was understanding and also moved us to a much better and suited table. The bar staff and another staff we came across was polite, professional and very welcoming. Thank you for a lovely few hours allowing me to have quality time with my family.

It's a nice pub and was very busy, which leant a vibrant atmosphere. This did mean, however , that it took ages to be served. My partner and I had a two course meal and I had two pints of beer, during our visit. There was a good choice of meals but our food was a a bit overcooked and both our courses were served differently to the description on the menu. They were still quite tasty, though. The prices of the meals and my beer were too inflated. My beer (Beaver Town's Neck Oil) was a whopping £6.80. That's more than a city centre pub in Norwich and the Copper Beech is miles outside of the centre of Norwich. Overall, not bad but too expensive for what is offered.

Myself and my friends come here often for carvery as I have food allergies and the staff are great with this and take extra care so ensure I am well looked after. The young man on the till who regularly serves us is great and very friendly. The chefs who serve the carvery are always friendly, careful and always confirm with me what I can and can’t eat. The best customer service I have received in years every time I dine at CopperBeach - thank you!

Just fancied a pub lunch so we popped in. The staff were excellent, very friendly, professional and helpful. We ordered everything using the QR code on our table, which was a very simple, painless process. However you could also order at the bar if preferred. The food came pretty quickly given how busy the place was. It was delicious, though the vegetable chilli could have had more chilli on it. Staff came to check whether we wanted all our food together or starters first. When we decided to order dessert but couldn't find what we wanted on the online menu (only on the table menu), the staff member went out of his way to bring a card machine to us so we could order it from the table. Really excellent service. 😸 All in all, we enjoyed our experience and we'll definitely be coming back again.

Nice food, friendly service and a good range of drinks.

The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The carvery was fab and the beef was delicious and melted in your mouth, it was lovely to see fresh vegetables on the carvery deck especially red cabbage and the Yorkshire puds were fantastic. The only tiny niggle was the cauliflower cheese wasn't very cheesy or saucy however the cauliflower was perfectly cooked. Hubby had the cowboy burger which he said was amazing. The sherry trifle cheesecake was divine

Have been coming in here a lot. Its local to me now. Food is fantastic.....NEVER had a bad meal here. And they offer a very good, varied selection. Staff are very good....always willing to accommodate, very very helpful, polite, civil, courteous, friendly.....and very well presented. Customer interaction is spot on. Theyre NOT rushing you off the table, NOT hanging around like fly's, and most importantly.... enquire if theres ANYTHING else you need. Theres NO yobbish, Loutish, Anti social behaviour.....theres NO shouting and disruption, NO fighting..... Its a very very friendly, all ages welcomed, older aged parties , family orientated pub/ restaurant. It can get noisy....but thats just people of all ages enjoying the atmosphere. Dogs are welcome.....if well behaved. There is music played.....pleasant pop stuff. Theres NO heavy Metal, or Rock and Roll......or swearing from the customers......IT IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY environment. You can always here pleasant laughter fom the pool table area ( which is away from the dining area, just so you know). Everything is spaced out very, very well. No one is eating on top of one another because you're crammed together in a small venue. Its VERY large inside. The decor is nice, eating utensils CLEAN....floor, carpets and tables are clean. Obviously...youll get a mess when a party has left....BUT thats soon sorted out. Seats are comfortable....and assigned to compliment party/ Table. YOU'RE NOT sitting on bar stools...and the bars never blocked up with drinkers so that you cannot order. You can order from the table, via barcode, and table number....AND the wait is not too long Excellent Carvery if you're interested in a weekday Sunday roast.....and the desserts are also very nice. I can complain about most things in life.....as my reviews on here will show......but NOT the Copper Beech at this time of writing.......or any time previous. Served by Elaine on...29-06-24 @ 18.30 pm Table 18 And again by Elaine on 24-10-24 @ 17.13 pm. Service, and food as good as before, and quality of environment as family friendly as always.

We visited on the 22nd October for the first time in 2 years, our last visit we weren't very impressed but this time wow what a difference. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, so much choice on the menu which was great, 3 of us had the carvery and 1 the cowboy burger. The carvery was fantastic, the beef melted in your mouth and there was plenty of it, lovely to see homemade yorkshires not frozen ones like at another local carvery, the veg apart from the peas was all fresh too which was fab ( that's not a dig at the peas they were perfectly cooked) , it was a nice change to see red cabbage there. The only thing I could possibly criticise and it is such a small thing is that the cauliflower cheese wasn't very cheesy or saucy. Hubby said the burger was amazing. Only 2 of us had dessert the sherry trifle cheesecake which was divine and the rocky road sundae which hubby said he really enjoyed. We definitely won't leave it 2 years until our next visit

Ive always found this place nice when we were flooded it was one of the only places we could bring the dog that had a nice bit of space . The caverys have always been nice and food good for the price.sometimes you have a little wait but overall id give it 5 stars when i compare it to other places

Visited today, I am gluten free and I was very impressed that when I told Dean on the carvery that I was gluten free he went and washed his hands. Didn't realise that Dean was being trained. Matt then explained that we can now have all the vegetables even the cauliflower cheese as this is now also gluten free. Very knowledgeable staff and courteous to customers with allergies. 10/10.

Great basic food made well, although our fish was overcooked but still nice. Attentive staff and fast service. Reccomend to book as was super busy (Saturday lunchtime) Reasonable prices and Blue card accepted. Wasn't our first visit and will definitely be back!

Today I thought I'd try the chicken and bacon club sandwich with chips. I was amazed, the sandwich itself was nice but what amazed me was the amount of chicken and bacon in the sandwich. The only chicken was at the point that it was cut in half, nothing in the other side of sandwich. Basically a mayo sandwich, the bacon was half a slice of streaky bacon so again only covered a small section of sandwich. My husband had a tuna melt and only got 9 chips! Really disappointed, I'd like to think if I paid for a chicken and bacon sandwich I'd at least get some filling in sandwich.

Standard Marston pub where you can get reasonable food at good value and theres normally some promotion mailed out in advance. Best to book a table during busy times.

Booking a table in advance was easy. Pub is spacious. we had the carvery it was very nice, the vegetables were delicious. Has was the gravy. The staff were working hard, very friendly and polite and asked if everything was okay. Enjoy

Pre booked for a Carvery. When entering a very family-friendly environment, it was clear to see. Although it was quite busy The staff seemed very organised and relaxed they greeted us and checked our table when seated. A clear bit of good management and a good hard-working team showed. The Carvery was, as you'd expect, very good with added extra options available. Don't worry if not everyone wants a Carvery because they will let you know the food of the daily menu is almost ready so the rest can go up to get the Carvery so everyone is eating together. I have to say the overall experience was extremely pleasant and therfore I would happily return again.

Our son has a nut, tree nut and egg allergy. The staff looked after us really well. I need to just say a very big thank you to Matt who served our carvery. He understands allergies and cross contamination too. He was fantastic and is a great asset to this venue. Thank you for making our lunch so good.

On Arrival with 4 friends.We were greeted by a Gentleman who showed us to our reserved table. A lady then came to tell us how to order drinks at the bar. The Venue, Copper Beech, was clean and tidy, the bar staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was perfect. We all had the Carvery. Which was delichious and plenty of it too! I have been before and ordered the Hunters Chicken, absolutely lush! The Restaurant started to fill quickly and our table was the loudest, as we were singing Xmas songs.The whole 2 hours we were there was wonderful, and we had a lovely time. We will return again, probably in the New Year!. Thank you all for a very pleasant time at Copper Beech. Norwich.

Ordered via app, could not opt out of burger bun and the iceberg lettuce in the burger was a poor example.

Salad wasn't washed and stems still on and it was browning. Onion rings served in a broken and knackered dish. Window ledges are filthy beside us. Food was average. Service of drinks was slow.

We visited last Thursday evening. So impressed by the helpful and friendly staff. Special thanks to Matt for his help and kindness - I have a restricted diet and he provided me with a carvery option after the official closing time, so that I could have a meal. So appreciated! And my dinner was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.

We were a party of 9 celebrating a birthday, start to finish it was excellent, seven had the carvery and two had burgers, everyone was happy with their food, I had the roast pork which was melt in the mouth tender. A staff member saw us trying to take a group selfie and took the picture for us.The only thing I would point out (not a complaint) was the grooves in the table had food debris in, could do with a hoover.
