The best restaurants in South Norfolk East of England

Ordered a pizza on Saturday night, I went to go and collect but I had a call from the owner to say the pizza oven had broke. I asked for a refund, to be told I had to wait as they needed to request it through the website. As i was nearly at the shop when I got the call, I still went in the shop to ask about the refund. The owner said I would have it by Monday, today is Wednesday and still no news on my refund. I have messaged the owner every night, I have had no reply to what's happening! Poor customer service and I as the customer is out of pocket. ****** AVOID THIS PLACE ******

Very poor food selection. Particularly poor cakes, small and tasteless and over priced.

Very good food and service and very reasonably priced we'll be back also joined to the pub with a pool table and dart board also excellent service

First time at the King's Head and not the last, food was brilliant tried the pie of the day venison and lasagna both excellent, good choices of menus and value. One of the best meal's we have had in a pub Hethersett. This pub will now be our first choice for a drink and meal out.

Always a warm welcome at The Dove. Very clean with fresh flowers on the tables and freshly cooked, usually home made food. The owners and staff are friendly, lovely people. Prices are very reasonable with a great choice of food. We eat here usually once a week and are never disappointed. A proper village pub!

Excellent pizza, accommodated having no cheese on a pizza

We travelled for half an hour to eat here as the food is soooo good. The average review score really doesn't do this charming pub and excellent cuisine justice. Amazing choice of burgers and great quality at reasonable prices. My husband has already sampled 3 of the burger options and tonight I went for duck breast, which was excellent. Very welcoming freeholder with good choice of beers and wines. Dog friendly. Ticks all our boxes!!

My wife and I visited this pub twice this weekend and I have to say that this pub was simply put, outstanding. The food was so so good and the Sunday roast was about the best I have ever eaten. My wife loved the food too especially the desert, chocolate brownie with ice cream. the staff were so good and polite. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!! 5 stars all around.

I was 36 when I started my queueing experience at Long Stratton Subway, when I got outside the shop I was 42 and had a cold sub. They looked understaffed, over stressed and struggling to get orders through in a timely manner.

Pick some stuff up at the industrial estate and came across this cafe and had a lovely traditional breakfast and was amazing. The staff are very friendly and it’s clean . The decor is bare but it is an industrial cafe . The tea was lovely and hot and just the way I drink it . I’ll definitely will visit again xxxxxxxx

We had a meal out on Saturday 15th March for tea and I had a smothered platter on that evening I got food poisoning very sick and diarrhoea for about 8 hours it has taken most of this week to get over it

Cannot thank Simon and his team enough for an 80th birthday party. It was really well organized and the food was brilliant.
