Subway in South Norfolk

I was 36 when I started my queueing experience at Long Stratton Subway, when I got outside the shop I was 42 and had a cold sub. They looked understaffed, over stressed and struggling to get orders through in a timely manner.

40 minutes for a sandwich it sounds unbelievable it may have been longer do not want to exaggerate. I was 5th in the queue for a sandwich there was six in total. I would not normally use this subway I use the ones In Norwich all the time, but have had to complain on 3 out of 4 visits. I got to know everyone in the queue the man in front of me joked it would have been quicker to go to the chippy, the lady behind me said it’s always a long wait, and this may be here last time. Two people serving one sandwich at a time, one who we all decided was on a break stood in the doorway on his phone. The man who had waited 45 minutes stared he was on break before he arrived. Having owned a franchise I walked to the front and suggested to the man that he should stop training the lady with such a long queue, turns out she was training him, the lady behind suggested as he had been half trained that he could do some part of the prep, “no he’s in training. I suggested that he could add the salad as people request what they want? Polite no! Then the guy who everyone thought was on break came to the counter to serve, and was sent to prep, I suggested he could help on the counter while the queue went down, what a mess, when I got my sandwich asked for sweet onion sauce, he added it I said that’s not sweet onion, yes it is he said showing the label , wrong colour was my reply, tasted like sweet onion and teriyaki in the same bottle. We then had to wait with our sandwiches going cold because the lady making the sandwiches had to take our money. I kid you not OVER 40 minutes to serve 5 people a sandwich each

Do not waste your time! Half the time it's shut and the other they are packing up early. It says it's open till 15:30 on a Sunday, it's bollocks. It shut 45 minutes earlier than that. Don't go unless you want to be disappointed

Tony D and Ella were so amazing today that I ate my sandwich with a massive smile on my face, and went to the effort of downloading the google maps app just to leave this review. If management see this, Tony and Ella are amazing and should be recognised for it!

Really disappointing experience. On multiple occasions the subway has been closed during opening hours, according to the coop Staff they have no control over the subway team or staff. This has resulted in 2 just eat orders not being fulfilled- upon arrival no one was working there despite the app accepting orders. The most shocking experience was when I ordered at 6pm on a weekday, arrived to no Staff and all the food completely uncovered and unrefigerated. I couldn't believe it and neither could the Staff at coop (who suggested this is a regular occurance). Shocking behavior from a major food chain and I've told my partner we are not eating here out of concern for food safety. Avoid disappointment and a bad belly , don't eat here.

I was served by Tony ‘TD’ and another guy who he was training - who I didn’t get the name of unfortunately. They were both really friendly and knowledgeable! They didn’t have the chicken that I wanted but I tried something new and it was great!

Never seems to have ingredients. No meat?! Spinach? And now they're too cheap to carry honey mustard I suppose they can afford to not have our business anymore

Went in dor subway at 12 on a saturday, the dude said only can do salads as he forgot to put the bread in the night before…. What a joke.

Went in for lunch at 12 o'clock to see a worker cleaning all of the cabinets and no food available. She said it would be about a half hour wait with a big queue and everyone looking for a quick lunch. Silly time to be cleaning it at prime lunch time. Always have a terrible service here will not be returning

That has to be the worst Subway I've ever had in my life. The guy was so arrogant. I'm actually at long Stratton Subway right now😡😡😡 . I told him to keep the Subway. 🤬🤬It is absolutely disgusting. long. Stratton saw the guy who was working there today on Sunday. Sun 16th july , i have been to many subways this one has to be the worst EVER. ,this person has to be shown how tomake a decent subway sandwich take lesson 🤬

It's a subway. Often, the sandwiches are a bit shoddily crafted and it feels like the folks who work there would probably rather not, which is understandable.

Great place to eat. Delicious sandwiches made fresh by extremely friendly and caring staff! Restaurant always clean too!

We visited this branch yesterday for the first time, and would like to praise your staff member George, who was a lovely balance of professional and approachable. He was very kind and engaging whilst making delicious sandwiches for us. Thank you! We will visit again soon.

Don't even want to give it one star. Order was accepted but when arrived still had to wait for a fresh set of meatballs to be cooked as wasn't enough, even thoughthat could'vebeen done beforehand. The food was very very cold, cheese bites horrible freezing, hash browns again cold and soggy. Just all round horrible. £20 wasted. Will not eat from here again.

The salad looked like it had been out for a week. The was flies on everything. Took ages to get across what I wanted to order as the person wasn't listening at all

I visited today with a colleague and the manager Claire I believe her name was, was very polite and cheerful. I highly recommend.

Initially had poor experiences, but have seen a great improvement over time. Good food for the price.

I came in on Sunday and ordered with a lovely boy named Dan! He was so happy and helpful and clearly loved the nature of his job. He was very knowledgable of all the options I had and any meal deals on offer ! Will definitely come again

Pointless it being here as you can buy all the bits to make your own in rhe store.

Always friendly service quick and simple to grab and go

This subway is inside the coop store and has no area to sit. It is staffed by friendly young people whi guve good service and generous portions. Great for grabbing a good sandwich and a coffee for a very reasonable price

After eating here I have bene locked in the toilet for over 4 hours. DO NOT EAT HERE
